I have not watched the Broncos much but isn’t Surtain a press corner? If we trade for him do we have some of the same hiccups we have had with Elam? How long before McD trusts him with the playbook?

Board can only go off what they see and sometimes that has a lot to do with when and how McD uses them. I remember this board thinking Beane was a genius for trading Wyatt Tellar before the season started, obviously it was a huge mistake by the end of the season. I remember McD sitting Tyrod telling us how much confidence he has in Peterman because of how well he practices. Lmao! Then he named him the starter opening week following season. I seen enough of Dane to know when we need a stop he ain’t gonna be there to make a play. Last year he was an easy target on 3rd and long for opposing teams. Everyone making a big deal about Elam getting worked by Ridley, Dane was getting worked by Zay before he got injured and left the game. Benford gets beat regularly and takes a couple penalties regularly. Competition is only gonna get harder at this point and I don’t believe either are gonna hold up. Gonna be like late last season. I can honestly say a decrease in Gabes snaps has been earned. Hard to say about the other guys because lack of opportunities, but Gabes snaps do not match his play.

He’s in McDs doghouse. They all are pretty bad. Dane was getting hosed by Zay before he got hurt. Benford might make one play a game but gets called for PI 2 or 3 times.

It’s funny everyone being so critical about slow starts. Yeah it has sucked but all the pointing fingers are at Josh. Giants game they didn’t score until the 4th quarter, read that a lot. Well our first two drives were cut short because the DBs legs got caught up in our WRs. Both looked like they would have been big plays. Then they had Gabes fumble on the third. Then I think the pick which Josh can take sole responsibility for but not really the rest. We had two missed FGs that game right? In the third I remember us having the ball once and I think the drive was 10 or 12 minutes and led to a 4th quarter Td. Then followed up by another Td and the last drive was us trying to kill clock. Well they scored 3 points in the first half last game, read that a lot. The INt was Joshs fault again but the missed FG and the Td getting negated wasn’t. Would have been tied at half if not for those miscues. They punted once all game, had another drive stall on 4th down because of a dropped pass. They scored 25 points and left the field up 3 with 2 minutes left. Rarely ever going to be a perfect game of football but that’s how a lot of people on this board expect Josh to play. Lmao. Some people going on about how much work he puts in, like they actually know. Yeah he’s been more in the public’s eye and cashing in on a few things, how do you actually know he’s done less than his usual because of it? Gimme a break. So ***** stupid.

He did give Harty 10 million after about 40 career catches. He thought Sherfield was a player despite bouncing around the league for 4 years. Before that he put all his faith in Davis and McKenzie. Then doubled down on Davis giving us the excuses about his injury. Beane deserves plenty of blame
