Is media day pushed back because we play on Monday?
-
Is it just me or in most of these clips Gabe comes open after Allen has already released the ball?
-
Terrified might not be the best word but he’s definitely reluctant to play younger players. Shows in the slow development of our players. We draft Dlineman because we have a weakness, McD limits their playing time and sticks with the guys that forced them to make these picks. McKenzie was terrible last year and we had to wait until injury before we seen Shakir. Same could be said about Dane and Elam last year. Dane ***** sucked. I think at one point McD went to a rotation at CB, how many times you ever see that.

Belichick can’t find a starting QB so it’s gonna be the nail in his coffin. A lot of his success had a lot to do with Brady, but that team was constantly changing, it was a big part of his success. Systems changed on both sides of the ball and players changed. He was not scared to let go of pricey veterans and move on to younger players. It was a big reason why the maintained the winning culture for so long. McD is the opposite. Nothing changed, he’s terrified to use younger players and the vets are hardly making an impact. We been running close to the same roster for 3 years.

National media are starting to grind their collective axes

Moving forward you have aging players on D and younger ones that they can’t get consistent play out of so what’s gonna happen? More picks for D and more money spent in FA. Without Allen this team would be on the verge of tanking and completely rebuilding -
Finding the QB is much harder than finding the coach.

McDermott answers why we stopped uptempo offense

I think we are in for a rebuild on D shortly which isn’t gonna help things going forward. -
I’m glad I didn’t get fooled on this one. Beane has whiffed on too many O players to buy into two guys with a combined 9 years experience and less than 150 catches between the two. To make it worse one of them is 5’6”.

People who complain about this should get tickets behind our bench and see if what you see on tv is all that goes on. Josh comes off the field and there is normally a commercial break then it goes back to the game. You see a few seconds of a 3 hour broadcast. I see a lot guys sitting down, see some standing, who ***** cares.

You want to blame the offense but you should be blaming the coaches. The same ***** that worked for the O in the 4th quarter was same ***** that worked the first drive. The controlled offense that we have been struggling for weeks was what McD wanted after the Bengals walked down the field on the second drive. Both sides of the ball are struggling. McD is more concerned about the defense being rested than our O scoring points. The D gave up 3 points in the second half but gave up 21 in the first, they all count. If they did better on the first two drives maybe McD wouldn’t have tried to slow the offense down.

He left the field and they were up against the Pats. Bigger question is why can’t our defensive minded D get a stop when needed. Needed one against Jacksonville, never got it. Needed one against Pats, never got it. Needed one against the Bengals, never got it. Needed one against Giants and got pretty ***** lucky. This offence can put up points, it has been shown in every game. Too bad the HC ain’t willing to go with what works, instead wants to go with a different style that better fits his complimentary football. He’s living in the stone ages of football. Faster he’s gone the faster this team starts taking steps forward again.

Previous coaches never had Josh Allen. That’s a huge difference. McDermot might not be here if we didn’t have Allen

The crazy thing about this the past for the last month it’s like they couldn’t make adjustments in game to get the O rolling. Then when the O looks like it’s got something going they adjust out of it. 🤦🏼♂️ -
Simms: Gabe Davis is a good player, but he's not a number two
BananaB replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have players right now that physically can’t get the job done. The ones that been here for a period time do not get sat despite their struggles. It’s just how it is Seniority rules -
I think Jackson is terrible and was pissed he was re-signed but I thought he had a pretty good game last night. Might of been the best I seen him play
-
Downward trend is on both sides of the ball. I think the O is a much quicker fix if Beane actually puts a little more effort in this unit. The D is just aging and young players aren’t stepping up. A lot of money and draft picks continue to get used for this group but not much transition in starting lineup until injuries force players on the field. Most of the time those players aren’t ready, that’s a big coaching problem. Father Time gets everyone at some point and it’s noticeable when you watch this unit. McD holds every young player accountable for their play, when they struggle they don’t see the field. For the vets it’s the total opposite, doesn’t matter if they can’t physically get the job done as long as they have the brains to be in the right position and put in the effort. Results just don’t ***** matter when it comes to them.

Totally agree. The media took the Allen/Diggs story and ran with it because what was seen on the bench but I think his frustrations were more to do with the coaching staff. Why else have a meeting with them before TC. -
At this point when you have had so many games struggling you think you’d go with what works until it doesn’t.
-
McD will sacrifice the season before firing him.
-
I was all for fire Frazier because I figured with McD taking over the D there would be no more excuses. He either gets it done or doesn’t.
-
There is an issue on O, it’s that they keep using money and draft picks to build this ***** defense while bringing in scrubs on O hoping Allen can even everything out. Our biggest problem last year was WRs core and Beane went out and got us two guys who haven’t combined for 100 catches. Another problem was the line, we got a guy who couldn’t hold a job in Dallas at numerous positions and a rookie.
-
When is McDs press conference? Normally listen to him when I get home from work but today I’ve been waiting
-
Lol! How many turnovers they force? How many 3 and outs? How many sacks they get? How many times did they get abused on 3rd down? O played bad as well but if your D can’t get off the field there is a problem, and it’s been a problem for a number of weeks now. Yup the O deserves their blame as well but this D looks ***** terrible.
-
Problem is they have neglected the O for years after to build that D. Numerous high draft and a lot of money in FA spent on Dline. It should not drop off that much but with so many aging players and the young one’s developing at such a slow rate it was bound to catch up to us at some point.

D gotta get a turnover to win that battle
