  1. Isn't the O-line by all accounts better than it was last year? Or do I just have a bad memory? In any case, being the same system and QB it's hard to get why it's fallen so hard even with some new pieces..... and for sure, Cook and Kincaid looked good.
  2. Sucking right now? Totally. I'm usually really forgiving of this team, but after the last weeks, losing to the Pats was just embarrassing today. Unraveling? I would say it's still too early in the season to be "unraveling." Time will tell, but I'd rather them have their struggles now and get their ***** together later. This team might need a bye week to get right. As of right now, I can't comprehend what's happened to this offense.
  3. sad thing is, when people have something bad happen to them, people criticize them as if they should have prevented it somehow.... in this case he's the victim, whether he used the hotel safe or not. I travel all over the world for work, and not every hotel even has a safe, even nice ones. Or they don't work, or they're locked already...plus they're also SMALL. Personally, I've never had anything go missing on me from a hotel room. Obviously since he's a wealthy dude, he's a target for theft.
  4. I'm also in the camp that this international NFL concept is crap. I've always thought playing games in London is stupid, and not because of any American pride reason. Rather, I think it's competitively unfair, and potentially unsafe for the players. Who knows if today's guys would have gone down if they actually had slept properly the last two days. Playing games in other countries is not good for the sport, it's just simply an attempt to find more financial growth for the league because they can't think of anything else to do at this point. dumb dumb dumb
  5. The flight isn't the issue, the change of time zone is. I've done that flight probably 50 times, and it's really hard on the body to adapt to the change, even if you do everything like you're supposed to. The Jags already being there was absolutely a competitive advantage.
  6. I say give credit where credit is due. Even if the Broncos are bad, there have been lots of terrible teams since 1966, and no one scored 70. It doesn't mean they're going to the Super Bowl, but yeah, still a feat. That offense is loaded with speed and tough to handle. Looking forward to the game on Sunday!
  7. quite simply. 1. yes all games 2. I did it for the jets game and it was fine. 3. Hmm never use that and didn’t check. theres one issue. With live games you’re restricted to a phone or tablet. By all accounts HDMI and airplay things don’t work. On the replays you can play it on any device or television you want. the other cool thing is you can cancel monthly. I’m going to get the 7 buck one tomorrow since all the games are at 1pm coming up. Then I’ll cancel it and move up to the 15 dollar version with replays when the night games kick on lol
  8. Thanks for letting me know about the 24 hour delay. That puts in the nail in the coffin for me. Just gonna do NFL+ this season and sacrifice the live big screen experience I guess… let’s hope they improve DAZN in the near future. It costs too much to have these limitations
  9. thanks for the info. I created a DAZN account without signing up for gamepass. I just watched some highlights, and on the computer I see what you're talking about with the stat box. however on my xbox, the stat box thing is not an issue. Have you tried watching DAZN on any other devices aside from the computer? I would be curious to know if the start from beginning works on any apps. I might cave and sign up for Sunday......ugh LOL
  10. UGH. I'm going to be watching the Jets game tomorrow morning with NFL+ and a VPN. The replay seems to actually be a good option, the annoying thing is that you can only play live games on a tablet/phone. Seems like there's no perfect solution right now since they made this switch....I would have gladly kept the old gamepass.
  11. Did they add the option to “start from beginning?” What about score hiding, is that all in order?
  12. That’s a horrific accident and I’m really sorry for that family. You certainly make good points that context makes a big difference. Confined water spaces combined with inexperienced or aggressive or stupid operators can create safety hazards. I probably wouldn’t jet ski in such places myself. Better to stick to open water! I still maintain however that jet-skiing in itself is not an inherently dangerous activity. Safety on the water is primarily about remaining alert. Paying attention to the other water crafts and staying away from them. When it comes to physical safety I’m probably the most cautious and risk averse person I know, lol. If I had the financial means and place to ride one, I would have a jet ski again in a second.
  13. geez, under this philosophy, they shouldn't be allowed to go to the bathroom without a supervision team.
  14. Sure, there is inherently "some" risk with riding a jet ski as there is some risk in everything we do. 1000 accidents in a year across the ENTIRE USA actually proves it's not a very dangerous activity at all. In the example you pointed out, a kayaker was killed by a jetski. So would you then say kayaking is a high risk activity? If a Bills player was sitting in a stationary car at a stop light and got blindsided by a drunk driver, would you say he shouldn't have been driving and oh well it's his fault for getting behind the wheel? He himself was being safe, he just got screwed by some idiot doing something stupid.
  15. They are not dangerous. When you're out on the water there is plenty of open space, you shouldn't be getting near any other boats or jet skis. In shallow water or near swimmers you should be slowing down to idle speed.
  16. My family owned a jetski when I was growing up and I rode it all summer around Lake Ontario starting at age 12. I continued to ride it like crazy every summer until I was out of high school. I never hit anyone or came close to any accidents. Nor did I ever feel unsafe or did my parents think so. I wouldn't consider it a dangerous activity whatsoever. I don't have statistics, but I would say jet-skiing is probably safer than driving a car. Whoever hit him was really really stupid.
  17. Totally. I remember having a lot of great drafts when we sucked and drafted high. Meanwhile when fans talk about the draft, they seem to forget that HUMAN BEINGS are drafted, not robots. There are infinite variables with humans. And for a player to become a game changing type player, all those variables have to go right. Drafting is an educated guess, there’s no certainty.
  18. I was just about to bring up the Kevin Everrett injury.... I personally have always found it kind of insane that such injuries occur and "the show must go on." Where is the line on when to call a game? I'm not sure, but I would definitely support a more compassionate approach to life-threatening injuries on the field. When you come right down to it, football is only "important" because of the amount of money involved. Otherwise it's just a game.
  19. Checking this out and every link brings me to a page telling me to sign up for an account. is this correct?
  20. Has any OT or lineman period played at age 41? Seems unheard of!! What a freak of nature, LOL.
  21. The media just stirs in the offseason because they need ratings and they have nothing to talk about. The Bills won the division the last 3 years in a row. No discussion necessary until week 10 at the earliest.
  22. Ugh, I didn’t sign up for DAZN yet and it sounds awful. Has anyone tried a VPN option with some or the streaming options in the USA?
  23. I've been thinking about this scenario for a long time now, and if his play doesn't warrant a roster spot, it does put the Bills in a difficult position. Football-wise, he made the team last year and started most of the season due to injury. When Hyde went to IR, it's not like the team was like "we better go find somebody." I would say that makes him a legitimate backup for this team. I would also say for his draft position and salary, he gave the team terrific value last season. What is hard to measure or know, is if the incident affected his play in any negative way we don't know about. If he's not playing as well as before, then there's the question of TIME. Does he simply need more time? Should the team give him more time? etc.... tricky tricky. All said, I hope he plays better than ever and makes the team.
  24. Talk about a terrible break for this guy!!! Some idiot not paying attention to what he was doing may have just cost him his career.
  25. Thanks for the info! In my case, I've never used the Ultimate Team features, so I suppose I don't need this. lol
