I like the fun of the division rivalries, and would be sad to see that go away. I don't think it's a worthwhile elimination on the grounds of "fairness." No matter how you slice it, sports are never truly fair, and every team still has to go through the same system to get to the Super Bowl. Even if you eliminate the divisions, some teams are going to have easy schedules, hard schedules, etc...

I just wrote a post about it, and my home wings are crispy as hell. Faults I can think of are: 1. Not dabbing the wings with paper towels before tossing them in (they should be as dry as possible), 2. Bad oil - I recommend peanut.
-
I live in Europe and the best you can get here are from a local hard rock chain, so yeah not very good lol. I started making my own wings during the pandemic, first deep frying in a pot and then eventually buying a deep fryer. The one I got was 80 bucks or so and works really well, it also has a compartment below to drain the oil when you’re done. I use peanut oil and my wings are kick ass. Funny we’re talking about wing size, because over here the default size is TINY, lol. It’s hard for me to find a wing that would even be considered “small” back home.

well seems like an innovative and logical formation then....

Is it possible and/or legal to run 10 TE sets - 1QB plus 10 Tight ends? Asking for a friend…..

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
CheshireCT replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
I suppose the speculation would be what the recording holds, what the injuries look like, and if it can be proved that these injuries came from the altercation. Btw as I jump into this mid-argument, to be clear I don’t have any opinion on whether or not Von Miller is a violent SOB or not. I hope he’s not, but if he is he should be held accountable -
I suppose the question would be then, are there any “drops” you can think of that could have been spectacular catches? I mean as a fan they’re definitely fun to see. I was just saying that I don’t think those are really planned in this offense in terms of jump balls and the like, but yeah it’s weird that there haven’t been any “incidental” wild catches lol.

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
CheshireCT replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
Court of public opinion is always a mess. The media always goes for the most sensational story, and then you get the he said she said. I’m absolutely no fan of domestic violence, but none of us knows a damn thing about what went on in that house. And we probably never will know!! -
Generally speaking we don’t really have those kinds of receivers. Diggs is really a master of the position, with fantastic technique and focus. But he’s not one of those athletic jumping freaks with huge range. Kincaid could surely pluck some crazy balls though if Josh throws it up that way. All that being said, I think Josh has worked like crazy in his offseasons to be able to place the ball right where it should be, and doesn’t seem like he attempts wild jump balls, which could be due to philosophy, the guys we have playing receiver, or both,
-
this. I would add every athlete’s ceiling is that window of the time where they are young enough to have all their athleticism, but experienced enough to know what to do with it (assuming no major injuries). For a quarterback, that’s about 10 years in.
-
I see. So, planned basically.
-
ok now that I see it’s Michael Vick, I’m even more confused. Huhhhhhh?
-
So I just got an email about Madden 24 being on sale, and all the cover images for the digital version have Bijan Robinson. - correction it’s Michael Vick. Huh???? my questions are: 1. has this happened before? 2. is it because JA hasn’t met Madden expectations? Or is this like a planned cover rotation? 3. does this mean the Madden curse has been lifted and he’ll start balling out again? thanks for your attention…..

Does Anyone Miss Daboll and Frazier?
CheshireCT replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
We all knew we were going to lose Daboll. Personally I was disappointed that he wasn't around for a couple more years since things were going so well, particularly the development of JA as you pointed out. And I guess I'm in the minority around here regarding Leslie Frazier. I thought he was a terrific coordinator, and an all-around calm and stable presence on the team. I'm not ready to toss him under the bus just because of a couple of bad moments in big games. That defense was very consistent. Sure, it's more fun as a fan to watch an "attacking" defense, but it doesn't necessarily yield the best results. I would absolutely bet that the coaching turnover has been a difficult adjustment for this team, and we would be rolling better with the other two guys. I would also bet that McD pulling double duty as head coach and D-Coordinator is NOT easy, and a competitive disadvantage. The guy is probably exhausted. That all said, these coaching changes happen to every team and you simply just have to keep moving on and find the way. -
yeah....all I can say is, O-Lines are just weird. Seems like the same line can go great-terrible week to week in the NFL. I was feeling pretty great about this O-Line before. Hopefully they'll round back into form sooner than later
-
Isn't the O-line by all accounts better than it was last year? Or do I just have a bad memory? In any case, being the same system and QB it's hard to get why it's fallen so hard even with some new pieces..... and for sure, Cook and Kincaid looked good.
-
Sucking right now? Totally. I'm usually really forgiving of this team, but after the last weeks, losing to the Pats was just embarrassing today. Unraveling? I would say it's still too early in the season to be "unraveling." Time will tell, but I'd rather them have their struggles now and get their ***** together later. This team might need a bye week to get right. As of right now, I can't comprehend what's happened to this offense.

Andre Reed HoF Ring Stolen in London
CheshireCT replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
sad thing is, when people have something bad happen to them, people criticize them as if they should have prevented it somehow.... in this case he's the victim, whether he used the hotel safe or not. I travel all over the world for work, and not every hotel even has a safe, even nice ones. Or they don't work, or they're locked already...plus they're also SMALL. Personally, I've never had anything go missing on me from a hotel room. Obviously since he's a wealthy dude, he's a target for theft. -
Roger Goodell said today's game was an experiment??
CheshireCT replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm also in the camp that this international NFL concept is crap. I've always thought playing games in London is stupid, and not because of any American pride reason. Rather, I think it's competitively unfair, and potentially unsafe for the players. Who knows if today's guys would have gone down if they actually had slept properly the last two days. Playing games in other countries is not good for the sport, it's just simply an attempt to find more financial growth for the league because they can't think of anything else to do at this point. dumb dumb dumb -
Roger Goodell said today's game was an experiment??
CheshireCT replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
The flight isn't the issue, the change of time zone is. I've done that flight probably 50 times, and it's really hard on the body to adapt to the change, even if you do everything like you're supposed to. The Jags already being there was absolutely a competitive advantage. -
I say give credit where credit is due. Even if the Broncos are bad, there have been lots of terrible teams since 1966, and no one scored 70. It doesn't mean they're going to the Super Bowl, but yeah, still a feat. That offense is loaded with speed and tough to handle. Looking forward to the game on Sunday!
-
quite simply. 1. yes all games 2. I did it for the jets game and it was fine. 3. Hmm never use that and didn’t check. theres one issue. With live games you’re restricted to a phone or tablet. By all accounts HDMI and airplay things don’t work. On the replays you can play it on any device or television you want. the other cool thing is you can cancel monthly. I’m going to get the 7 buck one tomorrow since all the games are at 1pm coming up. Then I’ll cancel it and move up to the 15 dollar version with replays when the night games kick on lol

Thanks for letting me know about the 24 hour delay. That puts in the nail in the coffin for me. Just gonna do NFL+ this season and sacrifice the live big screen experience I guess… let’s hope they improve DAZN in the near future. It costs too much to have these limitations
