right. this is what i'm talking about..... my grandpa likes ketchup on his pancakes. i dont rip him for it because its douchey to tell somebody what they should like or not like to eat.

i've had wings in a bunch of cities and never had one that ranch wouldnt make better.... just my preference though. same goes for pizza i've asked for ranch in buffalo. i give no s**t about this blue cheese phenomena around there. i get that a lot of people joke about i(i do too) but i also think its ridiculous. i only live 90 miles from buffalo FWIW.

If somebody gave me the options of going hungry or wings with blue cheese.... I’m picking going hungry. I’m with you man! Give me a good bar made ranch any day all day on basically every food under the sun. I live just 90 minutes south of buffalo, in PA. Blue cheese isn’t a thing here. Everyone makes any real major dining decisions on where to eat based on the local bar ranch recipes.

right. honestly other than that one quarter collapse in the wildcard the defense was easily playing at a top ten level for a solid 2 months leading up into the AFC title meltdown.

I agree. I like him as well and think he can still pan out. But this year is so big for him. If he doesnt fix the massive inconsistency issues theres no way in h*** i'm ok with anything close to that sort of money. Luckily i trust the bills leadership to understand that as well.

True.... until the defense carried them through the divisional..... Also i disagree with disregarding the massive statistical turnaround on defense from week 6 all the way into the playoffs.

The Bills have a top ten LT, arguably a top 5 safety duo, Hughes is anything but a JAG. The dude has 6 sacks in 5 career playoff games. why do you say the things you say?

It was dumb before the season started and its even more dumb now. Anyone with eyes could see the steady improvement. They could see the intangibles. They could see 29 total td and only 13 to's in year 2 while heading to the playoffs. If anyone couldnt see a good season coming then thats on them and what they apparently have trouble deciphering.... Saying the Bills qb needed to continue to improve and build on a solid year 2 would be one thing. Saying there was an obvious hole at QB was dumb. I get that you probably disagree, as you were one of the guys around here that couldnt seem to see the obvious signs and just kept hammering on an easy 2019 schedule and mountain west statistics from 2017 even though Josh had already put that stuff to bed. .... all of this is not to say i expected his season to be quite as good as it was. i didnt..... but i thought he could creep into the top 10 discussion by the end of 2020 with continued progression and the addition of diggs.

Monson actually came around much sooner and has been razzing the other guy pretty dang hard since about mid season. Their dialogue about it was actually sort of entertaining each week on their show..... which is why I think he held out for so long.

Huh. I coulda swore I saw a year end SOS ranking that had us in the top ten still. I very well could be mistaken though.

Last year we had the 5th hardest schedule coming into the season based on those metrics and we finished with the 5th hardest schedule after the regular season. There’s relevance for sure. I’ll admit it’s not always nearly that accurate but it can paint a solid picture of what’s to come. EDIT: I coulda swore I saw a year end ranking that had us still in the top 5-10 in SOS but now I can’t seem to find anything on it. My bad... I have, however, still found various ranking systems from sites that have us concluding the season in their top ten SOS standings but it’s not just based on opponent win%

Its definitely where we differ. How in gods name does anything that happened in the past make you analyze how they played a bad game any different thats ABSURD... neither deserve the coddling and neither deserve to thrown under the bus. Both had a bad game. Both should be analyzed as such. Sort of like if anyone dare mention that Allen MIGHT have had a better statistical season than Mahomes... Chiefs fans and basically everyone else on the planet have some sort of nuclear meltdown that anyone have the audacity to even hint that there was another qb even close to his level during the regular season. .... its funny because we bills fans, as a whole, have always been accused of being overly sensitive(and we deserve it), but i dont think i've seen a more triggered/sensitive group of people than Mahomes fans if you mention anybody even came close to his level of play. Straight up toddler temper tantrums over it.

Never said that. I saw somebody saying it but it wasnt me.... Neither was good. One is getting coddled over it in main stream while the other isnt. Thats my issue. Its not some earth shattering thing. But i just think people that get paid to talk about the sport should be consistent. and as for you "one year doesnt mean anything" statement. I would hope thats not the case. good lord. This year said a whoolllleeee lot about the qb we have and what we have to look forward to. He very firmly elevated himself with this one single year... We need to see it more than just this season, but this season spoke volumes IMO.

twisting my words again. I didnt say the stats said Allen was a better qb overall. I said the stats show that it can be argued Allen was better THIS year. And thats not an unreasonable take. One could argue Allen was a better qb than Mahomes this last regular season. Anytime somebody brings that up, people like to try and bend that into "He's saying Allen is a better qb". Thats the issue here. I know, for me personally, thats not what i'm saying. ... and thanks for the apology. Is it too much to ask for them to be even in their analysis? If you cant see the double standard between the qb's after they both played similar games over the last 2 weeks then you are just tossing your blinders up.

But i can only say for myself(AGAIN), that i dont think Allen is quite as good as Mahomes yet. But i also think the gap is small and i would argue that Allen had a better regular season than Mahomes.... The problem is the minute somebody has the audacity to say that, and actually quote hard stats that support an argument, "Chiefs Kingdom" and all their cronies flat out lose their minds like a 2 year old throwing a temper tantrum.

agreed. Allen was dealing with that pass rush and the fact that the refs tucked their flags deep into their pockets as our wr's got man handled.
