  1. hey man. do with it what you like. you don't have to take anything from it. its not like its anything we didn't already know anyways. I don't have a hard time with it at all becuz the same chain of people have fed me a couple other nuggets that were spot on. he didn't say he heard it from them. just that from what he's gathered from being around everyone and being in the facility long enough that he's confident that's how they go. and I don't find it hard to believe at all that certain vets of the team have a been given a good idea of which way the team is heading.
  2. bills d played really well..... bortles passing was awful though.
  3. totally agree. sometimes when i'm at a game its harder for me to soak in all the play of certain people on the field...... so by the middle of last week I mustered up the courage to watch game from my dvr. MY GOD WAS BORTLES BAD. plenty of open wr's and he's one hopping balls 5 to 10 yds away from them. it was awful. he hit those throws against pitt and it made them loosen up against the run quite a bit.
  4. well I have no idea why the people i'm referring to would have any reason to lie. but you can take from it what you will..... I also knew rex ryan was gonna be the guy a bit before that happened from the same chain of people. now obviously a boat load of things can change from now until the draft. and being "prepared" to use pick as ammo obviously isn't the same thing as for sure doing it. we shall see. like I said, not too earth shattering. only really confirms what I already believed. the only thing it really does for me is rule out the possibility of a high profile FA. I just cant see them paying a guy a ton of money and still moving picks for a qb.... I think its gotta be one or the other.
  5. Now stick with me here..... For what it’s worth I have a very good friend that’s very close with a certain individual that is very close with a veteran on the team... Said veteran informed certain individual that then informed my good friend, that what he’s gleaned and heard around the facilities is that they are prepared to use picks as ammo to get their guy in the draft. Now this isnt earth shattering news by any means but the one thing I think it does is rule out a run at a very high profile FA like cousins..... if it’s true. But I have no reason to think anyone would be lying about it. Becuz like I said, it’s not like it’s some big crazy new thing.
  6. Well that train is never late. You honestly are relentless. how about we just acknowledge the dude has a real point instead of needless incessant digs at the qb. there's the fact that Benjamin has never been a yac guy and then got hurt and that Matthews looked like an undersized TE laboring down the field but even slower than regular sized ones. And that clay is really the only pass catcher on the team to ever have shown the ability run after the catch and that’s seemed to pass him by. the dude has a point. why keep beating the dead horse?
  7. right on. misunderstanding. dude... whoa.... chill man... talk about really random rant of the day. and I give him credit for seeing we could aquire valuable assets for the upcoming draft while still being able to win games. seriously man.... you gotta take a breath here.
  8. I noticed that too. but I was just gonna let it lie. haha
  9. everything about this post is just so RIGHT. the only part I don't know about is what I bolded about tyrod and another vet.... I just think with his bonus and to bring somebody in that could actually make it a competition would wrap too much money up into a position where there just wouldn't be a great return in the investment... you either keep taylor and let him and a rook battle it out. or go find a vet qb the OC hand picks and let him battle it out with the rook. but that's just me picking nits.
  10. I don't even know what you are trying to get at here..... I posted to links to positive things said about our bills. one of which I pasted becuz it called for insider access. good talk, bruh.
  11. well the for insiders they usually flash the top of the article and then cut it off..... I cant tell when that cut off is becuz I subscribe and just always have access to the whole thing so I made sure everyone could see by pasting it up.
  12. what do you even mean "why wouldn't the OP go further into this?". its a click away dude. I didn't copy and paste anything from the first link becuz you could click on it and it was available to the public. I copy and pasted the 2nd one becuz it was closed to people that didn't have insider access. that sum it up for ya?
  13. i'll admit I was fairly irritated by that statement back in august. LOL. couple of butt hurt fins and jets fans in there too.... just having a really hard time thinking the bills did anything better than them. they'll get used to it soon enough.
  14. am I the only one that thinks a minor 5 yd facemask should be brought back?
  15. agree 100%. i'm cautiously optimistic that this last season wasn't beginners luck and we MIGHT actually have some guys that can take the bills to the promised land
  16. Looks like the bills cleaned house in afc east offseason awards. they gave us coach of the year, hyde got DMVP and then white ended up rookie of the year. pretty cool read and always nice to finally see good things being written about the team. http://www.espn.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/86561/bills-breakthrough-season-reflected-in-afc-east-awards and then another article from "espn insider" about re-grading the offseason of each team.... bills come in at the #5 best offseason with an "A-". I did a copy and paste of that one below becuz i imagine not everyone gets insider. i'm sure there will be a handful of people that lose their minds about a certain statement in the last paragragh. but whatever. another positive, and accurate, read on the team. very excited about the future for once!!!! http://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/22113660/nfl-re-grading-every-team-2017-offseason "The grade rises because rookie draft choices Tre'Davious White and Dion Dawkins were immediate contributors in important spots. Both players look like building blocks for new coach Sean McDermott and new general manager Brandon Beane. Fifth-round pick Nathan Peterman did not impress in two starts at quarterback, but he can still be a developmental player. Safety Micah Hyde was the Bills' biggest investment in free agency. He started all 16 games, picked off five passes, earned a Pro Bowl berth and was named second-team All-Pro. The team's other safety addition, Jordan Poyer, matched Hyde with five interceptions, showing again that McDermott knows how to get production from a position he has coached in the past (Kurt Coleman picked off 11 passes for Carolina in 2015-16, when McDermott was the Panthers' defensive coordinator). The decision to bring back Tyrod Taylor was obviously the right one, then and now. Buffalo traded receiver Sammy Watkins and cornerback Ronald Darby after our initial grades were published. The moves smelled of tanking, but Buffalo reached the playoffs and added picks. It helped that E.J. Gaines, acquired from the Rams as part of the Watkins trade, became a solid starter when healthy."
  17. OMG!!! did you really just say this? YOU OF ALL PEOPLE!!!!! lolololololol This is CLASSIC.
  18. i'm not trying to be difficult I'm just curious about where the bold was heard or read... is it legit? or just rumors? I honestly don't know much about the guy and the bolded is pretty promising if it can be backed up.
  19. ej and trent didn't have winning records or go to the playoffs. but I wouldn't expect you to be able to use any sense in the matter. so whatever man. keep spewing your garbage around here.... it only makes you look ridiculous.
  20. almost nobody is saying the bolded there.... its the overtop idiotic irrational posting about him by a select few people that keep these threads going this long. and I don't think anyone was riding that defense into the playoffs this year. it was horribly inconsistent and most of their rankings were at the bottom of the barrel. just like the offense. the team got to the playoffs becuz they had a knack for turnovers and not turning it over. taylor played a part in that.... in fact, other than that I don't think the team was very good at all and that worries me going forward becuz rarely can a team depend on large amounts of TO's year in and year out. its very simple for me. I dunno why people go all postal on him. he's won more than he's lost over the last 3 years with inconsistent targets and an inconsistent defense. IMO that's more than a backup qb could do in the nfl. BUT he's basically shown his ceiling. its not enough. its time to move on. ..... its just the handful of people, one of which started this thread, that have clear agendas and cant formulate rational thoughts on taylor.
  21. the funniest part is he's using bortles as an example and his stat line was very tyrod-esque.... it was a very poor attempt at trying to get a point across.
  22. I know it may be hard for you to believe it but you and a handful of others with over the top irrational views are the only ones that would be doing this... lets not lump rational fans into that category. while most realize we need to move on, your thoughts on the issue are not the majority.... and thank god for that.
  23. it wasn't sugar coating.... its calling you out when you say dumb things and act like he got all 3 fired when that wasn't the case.... my god you're awful. right.... top ten scoring offenses and tire fires have a lot of similarities.
