Put it this way…. The league no way wants to see Belichick get embarrassed. Not in the playoffs, they will always want to paint a picture that he’s some messiah…. As long as the pats can walk away from this game and the media say, wow, another year and Belichick may be back in the NFL drivers seat. The refs will keep this close.

These refs are calling everything….. I’m afraid of this in the bills game.

So last week they had 1 heat blower on each end of their benches…. Every time there was 7-8 guys huddled around it….. are there rules that limit them to only 1? Why not two on each end? point them at each other 8-10 ft apart.

I’d assume it’s a priority to rotate the game balls when possible without slowing the game down. The ball boys I’d hope have some kind of heated pouches? I know they have pouches but anyone know if they manipulate the temp on the balls or not cause it’s uncontrollable and could possibly cause issues……

If that’s the case I could see Chad Hall getting a chance… Kelly Skipper was an OC at UCLA years ago…. I stand corrected…. Looks like all were 1 year stints. Doesn’t look like he had a lot of success. I still like Dorsey in that roll and even Chad Hall. I think Hall is a future sleeper in this league.

I’m just curious to to see what Ken Dorsey brings. Offense stays the same, but you put the play calling in the hands of actual QB who played at the highest level in college and many years in the nfl. People need to remember Daboll wasn’t an OC in the nfl until he came here. Sure he called plays at Alabama. But I’m curious to see what Dorsey can do and what he will add to make it his offense…..

Trevor Penning is my guy too… As a rookie you slot him in at LG (played many snaps at RG for N Iowa) for a potential swap with Dawkins after a few years if he wins the competition. Bad thing is….He is already considered a round 1 guy. He will be at the Senior Bowl in 3 weeks and I 100% expect him to boost his draft stock even more. Penning had plenty of playing time at RG for N Iowa…. You plug him in right away At LG… Bates a future replacement for Morse. After a year, maybe 2, Penning and Dawkins can battle for the LT position being Dawkins may only have a year left on his contract.

It being the playoffs the refs should be holding on to their flags a little more unless it’s blatant. Anyone know who the crew is for tomorrow?

Obviously we all know the Pats are gonna run the ball… I’d say their game plan would be to run 25-30x tops. Limit Mac Jones under 20 pass attempts is probably what they think is a winning recipe…. With that said, I see them trying to get Hunter Henry the ball early and often. Short quick passes in the flats, TE pops and just some simple 5 yard 3 step drop type plays. I honestly don’t see BB wanting Mac to be sitting in the pocket trying to figure out our defense…

Does anyone else feel like everyone thinks Buffalo winning the AFCE was a fluke and that they think New England should have won it?! To be honest I feel like Buffalo under achieved and NE over achieved. But I legitimately feel like most think New England is the better team. Then they say….. well they have JA. Regardless of who wanted Tua or drafted him… as a head coach you’re expected to win. 5th overall pick. Not blaming Flores, maybe he did get a raw deal but obviously the FO thought he wasn’t the guy. I’m not surprised is what I’m saying.

If McD came in to Buffalo. In 3 seasons never made the playoffs. Drafted a QB 5th overall that everyone questions, that yesterday threw the ball 22x for 109 yds. Im not surprised at all… Flores had high hopes but after 3 years it’s as if the dolphins still had no identity and were treading water. Nothing more.

I didn’t mind an extra game but I’m surprised they didn’t add a second bye week or slow 2-3 extra players to dress… some teams had to play what… 13 straight games before a bye week?
