  1. an elite de means nothing when double teamed. rushing 4 and being out numbered means no pass rush. it's pretty simple...except to frazier.
  2. it's like they refuse to dial up pressure. gave fitz all day to carve us up. it's like we have the rick dennison of defense. i hope mcd shakes this 1990 crap up. against that oline, we can't get to fitz? pathetic. frazier and his 1985 philosophy ....
  3. do they ever practice deep throws? it sure as hell don't look like it
  4. gonna be a picture perfect day! wished they'd have saved the red for another day. not really a fan of it anyway.
  5. i think the locker room would have blown up and that's why they switched.
  6. might wanna rethink that cause fitz will probably start hot and hang 13 out of the gate. bills with a couple of miscues, then wake up, but not 30 pts. worth.
  7. i always thought he was starter material......not tre or levi...but close to taron level. anyway...light him up, if he plays.
  8. well if fitz carves us up while leslie rushes 3 or 4 and josh turns the ball over, the national narrative will instantly turn back to same old bills.....and that would be major suck.
  9. i wanna give heath a chance. are we worse without crossman? would we have gotten better if he'd had stayed? i'm voting no. i like farwell... .AND I LIKE CHAD HALL TOO MOMMA!... AND HE LIKES ME BACK!....AND HE SHOWED ME HIS DUKE!....AND I LIKE HIM TOO!....ok that might be kinda stupid. i'm bored.
  10. i watched his cfl highlights the day they signed him and the two words, eric moulds popped into my head. one thing i noticed about him sunday is that he gets open. he seems to have great instincts on when to cut and/or comeback to the qb.....give him an open target. i hope to see him catch a half dozen a game.
  11. there was a lot of discussion on wgr about what the bills might/should do with one of a few possible trades. i get the green argument, but for the money and who knows if you'll get 2 games or 2 yrs. and that's if you can sign him beyond this year. i say no....fagettaboutit. however, von miller on this line? chicago gave 2 1sts for mack and look what it did for them last year. we could move shaq or better yet, slide him into the dt even if it means much less snaps. as far as diggs, i think i'd rather wait until draft/fa time. so my vote would be for von miller. this d would be sick. if they can incorporate the talent they have...duke /foster isaiah along with b&b, they'll get much better. i'm fine with knox and sweeney ,just gotta have josh connect.
  12. true at 6'4 302, but a nasty streak against the lighter edge rushers might just work. ford is slow af against them and nseke can't seem to stay on the field and probably couldn't play an entire game without subbing anyway. i'm sure we'll be taking both lines high next spring.
  13. did anyone take note of how ryan bates did? cody ford is getting his ass handed to him and we need to do something there. if nseke is unreliable, that makes it even more so. i saw bates come in but spaced out on concentrating on him. we cannot have a turnstile rt....or ruin a rookie. other than that i will say i woulda slapped dabol for not going for 3 while at the 30 early on. 4th and 2 and for the 2nd time run a recently concussed qb sneak when a missed fg would have left us in the same spot? stupidity like that is gonna cost us games. wrong thread for that but i'm burnt and lazy. however our room stood up and waved our hands on every titans kick and we were successful!
  14. that's kinda the point i was making. teams were more reluctant to give in to contract disputes and holdouts than they are now. now player holdouts and renegotiating contracts is common.
  15. i think it was simply whether or not he contributed on st. well maybe he caught up on that....as well as need.
  16. woods wanted to play where he's from ...at home...and he got paid big to do it. if you were him you'd have done the same. peters looked like a dbag because of his holdout/ stance when, that now is the norm for players. he got traded. nowadays, that's a regular game and it's different.
  17. i agree 100% to me it's not about the physical thing alone , but also about the mental aspect of josh thinking he's gotta redeem himself in a big way and that could spell disaster. for my money, i would take barkley for the clock controlling win. let josh watch and engage from the headset and learn until he's relaxed and feeling confident. this could be a huge win for him or it could really put a big ***** in his armor....guess we'll see tomorrow , but i think it's shortsighted on this staff.
  18. i hate to say it, but i was hoping to see matt too mostly because i think 2 (3)weeks in between possible concusses would be better safe than sorry. it's not like josh wouldn't learn anything on the sidelines. in fact maybe a timeout would be better in the long run.
