  1. McDermott is a good coach. Not sure he’s a great coach. McDermott likely isn’t coaching here right now if not for Josh Allen, but thats how the NFL goes. If you have a QB, HC/GM have tenure.. if not, 2-4 years and try again. If we don’t make the playoffs with a healthy JA in his prime .. you have to, at least, have the conversation. But absent a locker room mutiny, he’s probably safe regardless. And yes, I think we make the Playoffs.
  2. I could see us trade for a guy, but wouldn’t that guy likely be a starter? I just don’t see why we’d trade for vet depth when we’ve already brought in Morrow and Jones, unless Morrow’s injury is long term.
  3. Both are younger, faster and quicker. They are not prime Diggs. However, Diggs was not prime Diggs. And whatever he was last half of the season, wasn’t even a WR1. We saw that screen to Samuel last week and there’s zero chance Diggs makes it look that easy. But we were forced to throw him those last year to get him touches because he wasn’t beating man coverage for whatever reason.
  4. New Emerson poll shows Trump +1/+2 in PA. Always been an interesting juxtaposition in PA polling. Republicans have, month after month, been killing Dems in voter registrations, PA being at the top of the list. McCormick only down 4 to Casey in the Emerson poll as well … which if he could pull off the upset would be seismic in the Senate/political landscape.
  5. I agree. Diggs may very well kill it this year in Houston, but the man either lost a step for whatever reason (age/injury) or stopped caring halfway through the season. He became an unproductive black hole in this offense that “could” be addition by subtraction.. same with Gabe Davis… but it all hinges on Keon Coleman, imo … I think Shakir & Samuel will likely eat this year, but if Coleman can find a role in this offense, I think we truly see it take off. If not, there will be justified criticism about not doing enough .. specifically when we could’ve drafted another WR early instead of Cole Bishop.. and we’ll see how he looks and maybe it was all the right decision. TBD.
  6. Polls starting to settle in. 50/50 race in every sense of the word. National Polls on average pretty even from Trump +1 to Kamala +4, which electorally equates to a Trump landslide or close Kamala win Battlegrounds shifting back towards Trump with MI/WI still slight Harris leans but shrinking from what may have been her high point. PA/NV starting to lean back Trump. However, she could still see another bounce out of the DNC.
  7. I typically agree with you, but I think frustrating (both FO & Allen) forced a hand they didn’t want to play on trading Diggs. And tbh, with the roster churn at WR after 1-4, it makes no sense why he didn’t double dip in the Draft. There can be a plan, but in no world is it acceptable for that plan to be any semblance of potentially throwing away a prime year of Josh Allen. Which I don’t think we’re doing .. but I can see why knives will come out, QUICK, if the WR’s struggle at all.
  8. Did Diggs demand doubles? Im pretty sure tape breakdown showed teams were playing him straight up. And furthermore, didn’t a player for another team point this out after a game and even pointed out how they know exactly what Diggs is going to do with that quick in-breaking route he likes to run?
  9. I don’t respect him. The issue for people like me is that your party doesn’t respect us. You're simping for a career leftist who has a white minstrel show as VP. Her policies and his bs act are far more offensive to me and invasive into my life than a man I don’t respect but has tolerable policies.
  10. Im guessing the poster means Samuel isn’t an outside/take the top off WR Which maybe he can do, but to date, he’s not that type of player Just like Shakir can, Coleman can, Hollins can, but none are known for that. Entering last season Diggs & Davis were both deep threats, although Davis is a unique kind of deep threat and Diggs lost a step or just stopped caring.
  11. A Tight End that can be the focal point of the Offense. I view Kincaid as far more fluid and athletic than say, Andrews.. and a different player than Kittle, with spatial recognition that I’ve only ever really seen from Kelce. Thats an instinctive talent that can’t really be taught. It’s foolish to say he is prime Kelce without any proof.. but stylistically, he’s the best comp I have off the top of my head in regards to focal point TE’s.
  12. Valid. I think Brady’s Offense will also rely on more passes to the backs, but again.. at some point, everything can’t be within 10 yard of the LOS. Kincaid, Shakir and Coleman will all push to the intermediate range, which is Allen’s bread and butter, but who’s taking the top off? Modern NFL defense has dramatically limited the number of deep shots per game, and even more so, the number of deep shots connected. But you still need that threat. And I’d agree .. I don’t know what the plan is there. 1-4 our guys “can” do it, but it’s not necessarily their game. MVS is built to do it, but has other issues and who knows if he’s even making this team. Clearly Brady is aware of this, but even with motion and a running game, if all works to plan, defenses will bring their Safeties down if they aren’t afraid we can beat them deep.
  13. I see a lot of people saying “well, if we get him back for the end of season/playoffs, that’s what matters” …. What if Dorian Williams grows into the role? I’m not pushing him out for Milano in that scenario. Dorian Williams has a chance to lock down that LB spot for good if he makes the jump. And if he does, that’s that, imo.
  14. We were to the point where we had to manufacture passes to him. He wasn’t organically getting open. Im more going off practice reports, including yesterdays joint practice, where Kincaid comes across as dominating most days & having great chemistry with Allen.
  15. So far, Kamala Harris economic plan comes across as breadcrumbs for dumb people. Price controls on food & grocery will send shivers down the spine of most South Florida residents who have lived under, or had their family affected by, these policies. $25K for first time home buyers, which will clearly just increase home prices by $25k, with the kicker being you need two years of on time rent payments to qualify.. which, is fairly easy done when you live in government provided migrant housing that taxpayers subsidize. You read the comments from democrats to these policies and realize that this election could be decided by economically illiterate people who have no concept of how anything works. Student loan forgiveness, 25k home buyer credit, universal basic income, price controls .. yup, all sounds great.. until you wake up one day with hyperinflation and unprecedented government control. But the fact is, modern Dems want govt control. They have no use for freedom. They don’t use it. They don’t need it. Many of them live subservient lives with no purpose, trying to manufacture meaning in social causes that they, themselves, make worse by their relentless fixation on them.
  16. 4D Chess.. or something.
  17. It sounds like that’s what Kincaid will be. We’ve never had a Kelce-like player so we can’t truly wrap our heads around how that works until we see it. Im not really worried about our WR’s.. we won games while having (names aside) one of the worst WR rooms in the NFL last half of the season. Diggs & Davis were objectively bad. My biggest concern is health.. Shakir & Samuel seem VERY important that we want to do & lack of vertical threats to open up underneath stuff … maybe we do have vertical threats, but in the traditional sense - outside MVS - that true deep threat player isn’t on this roster.
  18. Chiefs division is a joke … I’d rather them go 16-1, losing to us, but handing anyone we may be competing with for a playoff spot or seeding an L.
  19. Well this thread is a depressing read. Main point: With a Top 2 QB, if you don’t make the playoffs, it’s a massive problem.. let’s just make that known. There are no excuses for that. Reasons for worry, and there are some legitimate ones: -Really tough schedule -Tyler Bass zero confidence -LB Room now relying on a 2nd year player, again. Depth is probably fine with the vets we brought in, but the starters obviously took a hit with Milano going down -S Room looks like a disaster right now. In no world should Damar Hamlin be starting for us, and only McDermott seems to think Cam Lewis does anything out there. We knew it might be a downgrade with Rapp/Edwards until Bishop gets up to speed, but it’s probably one of the worst Safety rooms in the league to start the season as we stand. Reasons for optimism: -Kincaid Year 2 -Ray Davis upgrade at RB2 -WR’s with more potential as a group 1-4 than last year. We all want to romanticize Diggs, but outside Shakir, our WR’s were awful last half of the season. One of the worst groups in the league. Wait and See: The lines.. Kromer is one of the best in the league and there is talent on this OL. We all freaked out last preseason and ended up having the best OL of Allen’s career. Defensive Line seems to never make big plays in big moments and we’ll see if that changes, but Austin Johnson is a better DT3 than we’ve had in recent years, Carter provides potential we haven’t had at DT4 and the DE room should be better than last years (if) Von can give us ‘23 Floyd.
  20. Get it!? Because he’s WHITE!!! This guy is so fake. Straight out of central casting to hype up simpletons.
  21. Everybody would. Simmons is a Top 3 Safety. But we don’t exactly have 8M to be throwing around right now. We could get creative, sure.. but not sure it makes sense to do that for a Safety.
  22. Well this thread is a fun read after the Milano news. Either we’re being insanely careful or we need to yeet our training staff into the sun.
