Trump has two issues… And I’ll preface this by saying, for Trump standards, the press conference was fine. Not good. Not bad. Just whatever. It happened & nobody will be moved by anything he said. 1) He literally cannot help himself. He is so easily hyped up by any question involving the 2020 election, Brian Kemp and now “crowd size”. And everytime he engages the questions, he turns off independents (2020), Republicans (Kemp) and everyone (crowd size) 2) They desperately need to chide Harris/Walz into answering questions from the press. The media cover goes two ways … one, to run propaganda for the Harris campaign.. and two, allows them to only showcase “happy warrior/joy” because they literally aren’t talking about anything, not defending anything, don’t have to answer for anything. That changes the minute they have to talk with any substance. But the contrast of that on the stump, to Trump doomsdaying (with some justification) is not an aesthetic that is, at all, politically helpful for him.

He’s up in CNBC as well, but as I said in another thread .. this race is very likely a Harris +2 or +3 National race right now, which equates to anyone’s ball game electorally.

I think if anyone is being honest, Kamala is up 2-3 points nationally and PA, WI, GA, AZ & NV are all within the MOE, with Michigan maybe slightly outside it for Harris.

If the media decides to even slightly entertain this story… he might not last. The only saving grace for him is that they probably won’t, for one.. and secondly, after the Biden/Harris optics, they can’t also be swapping out Veeps. But this is bad… and has serious legs. Benny Johnson isn’t exactly a go to for me, but the story cited is damning.

When is an acceptable timeline for you to have policy positions from the current VP, and potential President, as early voting begins in less than 45 days?
