Noticed Kirk jumped into the political arena saying biological men don’t belong in women’s sports (and being emphatic that he won’t be quiet any longer), so you’re probably right that he’s the 3rd guy there that can basically say whatever he wants without any worry.

The electorate is shifting, so it’s conceivable that Trump could win PA, but lose NC. White working class moving right (PA) Northern transplants flooding Raleigh & Charlotte (NC) Ive said it before, but it seems like the conservative northerners move to Florida & South Carolina, while it’s more of a mixed bag to Georgia & North Carolina. That said, Trump +4 in Georgia but losing NC would be absolutely shocking. Arizona seems all over the place. I’ve Trump +4 to Kamala +5… no idea. It’s a lean red state, but with McCain R’s who will vote blue.

ESPN definitely has a politics issue. Just not sure if this is related. Will Cain left, not sure what the story is behind that, but he’s conservative. Same with Sage Steele. Samantha Ponder also conservative, just got let go. RGIII just comes across as kinda whichever way the wind blows on social issues, leaning towards taking a “woke” stance typically. McAfee and Stephen A are middle-right, middle-left and say whatever they want, daring ESPN to say something. They know the cache they have at the network. Mina Kimes openly advocated for Karen Bass and posted her admiration of Tim Walz, while now openly fighting with OutKick on X. Dan Orlovsky seems to be conservative and recently stated he deleted a tweet because it doesn’t reflect ESPN’s beliefs. Not sure if LeBetard is still over there, but he’s basically half MSNBC primetime, half sports. Regardless.. they let their network veer into the political realm, heavy, and now the brand is toxic to many … both from a political standpoint and content standpoint as they let go of sports people to bring in firebrands. Its depressing to see Dan Orlovsky and Mina Kimes, both knowledgeable football commentators, have to get yelled at by morons who want to say the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard.

Most of the Bills' injuries have been on defense...Why is that?
SCBills replied to mannc's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats fair, but doesn’t explain why our DL has major injuries of late in Von & Daquan, plus Epenesa and Rousseau both dropped off a cliff when they sustained relatively major injuries that they played through last year. Our safeties were aging out, so I get that, but Edwards & Bishop have barely even been able to practice so far.. nevermind Rasul Douglas was playing one leg against y’all in the playoffs last year, after replacing Tre White, who went down… again. -
Kodak Black and Fivio Foreign dropped a track featuring Trump .. what world is this 🤣🤣

Idiotic, if that’s the case. Whatever Florida does to be one of the largest states and have things sorted out day of should be adopted across the nation.
-
Sure .. also, they could help themselves by not being incompetent and counting votes in a timely manner. Maybe don’t have a water main break in Fulton County delaying ballot counting. I know they counted mail in ballots last, which skewed heavy Dem .. also it’s a heavy Dem area, but having a vote drop in the middle of the night like we saw in 2020 due to incompetence is asking for these issues to arise. Florida manages to get their vote counting done day of .. Georgia can surely figure it out too

Tim Walz Was A Great Pick Thread
SCBills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Objectively speaking.. I think he served a purpose, but I think they need to tread carefully. Media won’t allow his embellishments to take too strong of a hold, but he is quickly turning himself into a white minstrel show. Even some Dems, specifically under the “white people taco” video, are starting to view the act as getting a bit much. Correct pick? We’ll see. I’d say he’s done, so far, what they hoped.. but I’m not sure about his staying power & if she loses PA (Emerson poll today has Trump +1) then Trump is President and it’s hard to say he was the correct pick. -
No limits on abortion, forget religious implications, is ethically wrong. Barbaric even. We know that babies can feel pain at around 15 weeks. Therefore, allowing elective abortion after that time period is truly evil, imo. Allowing children to make life altering decisions about their sex/gender, and furthermore limiting parents in their efforts to view it as a phase (which for many it is). The Biden-Harris handling of the border erodes our culture, depleted our resources and allows drugs/criminals into this country that otherwise would be drastically mitigated. The border bill proposed was a joke, and essentially codified 3,000 illegal immigrants per day to cross. I’m not anti-immigration, but what has been done for the past 3 years is not sustainable & not safe. Higher taxes, specifically on a business owner like myself. I pay an absurd amount of taxes already.. that will increase under Harris’s perceived economic policy. I will never forgive authoritarian Democrats for their handling of Covid. My brother was strong armed into getting it under OSHA in order to keep his job and had heart issues that landed him in the hospital days later. A look on website indicates that all her staff and satellite office managers are required to have up to date Covid boosters, which is unscientific and illogical. Evidence that she would easily fall back to authoritarian tendencies should another national emergency arise. Foreign wars. I don’t believe we are respected. I don’t believe we are feared. I do believe aggression worldwide would continue under her and our involvement in forever proxy wars will continue in perpetuity. I’m speaking specifically of Ukraine here, of which we had an off ramp Zelenskyy could have taken early on but was told not to by the Biden Admin. Biological men in women’s sports and women’s locker rooms is disgraceful policy and a gross viewpoint to have. Biden-Harris Admin effectively dismantled Title IX about a month ago. Her economic policy is geared towards uninformed people who cannot anticipate consequences. Price controls and money printer goes brrrrrr. Guess we didn’t learn from the Soviets or Venezuelans and apparently covid spending and three years of crippling inflation for the average American was imaginary. But her policy is geared towards people who are desperate and uninformed. Cannot draw the parallels to Covid spending or anticipate what comes after. Never read a history book to see what price controls yield … read Warren/Casey’s Bill on this in the Senate .. the likely template for Harris. It’s insane policy … the FTC can use any metric they see fit to determine what is “price gouging” and then set rates or fine companies. Recklessly idiotic policy and we already know the outcome.

It’s just a big city - Nothing really special about it. I’m in Buckhead, which is pretty nice. It’s just more of sprawl/suburbia type. But UGA football is king and what they did with the Braves & an area called The Battery, outside of it, has made it an all day event type place. (Restaurants & Bars) Im also in South Carolina a good bit and Greenville & Charleston are absolutely amazing cities. Far better than ATL, imo.
-
They really don’t. Im in Atlanta. They’ll say it’s due to being a transient city, which is true .. but everyone loves the Braves somehow. City, State is run by UGA Football.

Bills @ Steelers - Preseason Game 2 - Sat 8/17 7PM

Strange wording that leaves me with no idea how long they will be playing tomorrow. -
McDermott is a good coach. Not sure he’s a great coach. McDermott likely isn’t coaching here right now if not for Josh Allen, but thats how the NFL goes. If you have a QB, HC/GM have tenure.. if not, 2-4 years and try again. If we don’t make the playoffs with a healthy JA in his prime .. you have to, at least, have the conversation. But absent a locker room mutiny, he’s probably safe regardless. And yes, I think we make the Playoffs.

I'm really starting to quietly love this LB room
SCBills replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could see us trade for a guy, but wouldn’t that guy likely be a starter? I just don’t see why we’d trade for vet depth when we’ve already brought in Morrow and Jones, unless Morrow’s injury is long term. -

Both are younger, faster and quicker. They are not prime Diggs. However, Diggs was not prime Diggs. And whatever he was last half of the season, wasn’t even a WR1. We saw that screen to Samuel last week and there’s zero chance Diggs makes it look that easy. But we were forced to throw him those last year to get him touches because he wasn’t beating man coverage for whatever reason. -
2024 Elections - House - Senate - States
SCBills replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
New Emerson poll shows Trump +1/+2 in PA. Always been an interesting juxtaposition in PA polling. Republicans have, month after month, been killing Dems in voter registrations, PA being at the top of the list. McCormick only down 4 to Casey in the Emerson poll as well … which if he could pull off the upset would be seismic in the Senate/political landscape. -

I agree. Diggs may very well kill it this year in Houston, but the man either lost a step for whatever reason (age/injury) or stopped caring halfway through the season. He became an unproductive black hole in this offense that “could” be addition by subtraction.. same with Gabe Davis… but it all hinges on Keon Coleman, imo … I think Shakir & Samuel will likely eat this year, but if Coleman can find a role in this offense, I think we truly see it take off. If not, there will be justified criticism about not doing enough .. specifically when we could’ve drafted another WR early instead of Cole Bishop.. and we’ll see how he looks and maybe it was all the right decision. TBD. -
Polls starting to settle in. 50/50 race in every sense of the word. National Polls on average pretty even from Trump +1 to Kamala +4, which electorally equates to a Trump landslide or close Kamala win Battlegrounds shifting back towards Trump with MI/WI still slight Harris leans but shrinking from what may have been her high point. PA/NV starting to lean back Trump. However, she could still see another bounce out of the DNC.

I typically agree with you, but I think frustrating (both FO & Allen) forced a hand they didn’t want to play on trading Diggs. And tbh, with the roster churn at WR after 1-4, it makes no sense why he didn’t double dip in the Draft. There can be a plan, but in no world is it acceptable for that plan to be any semblance of potentially throwing away a prime year of Josh Allen. Which I don’t think we’re doing .. but I can see why knives will come out, QUICK, if the WR’s struggle at all. -

Did Diggs demand doubles? Im pretty sure tape breakdown showed teams were playing him straight up. And furthermore, didn’t a player for another team point this out after a game and even pointed out how they know exactly what Diggs is going to do with that quick in-breaking route he likes to run? -
I don’t respect him. The issue for people like me is that your party doesn’t respect us. You're simping for a career leftist who has a white minstrel show as VP. Her policies and his bs act are far more offensive to me and invasive into my life than a man I don’t respect but has tolerable policies.

Im guessing the poster means Samuel isn’t an outside/take the top off WR Which maybe he can do, but to date, he’s not that type of player Just like Shakir can, Coleman can, Hollins can, but none are known for that. Entering last season Diggs & Davis were both deep threats, although Davis is a unique kind of deep threat and Diggs lost a step or just stopped caring. -
