  1. I don't really have an issue with 5 WR's. I do kind of have an issue with 5 WR's, when two of them are currently injured & 1 of those currently injured WR's has a messy injury history.
  2. Didn't really think Shavers was a 53 man player - especially given the presence of Coleman, Hollins and MVS, but it's a reminder of how tough this day is for so many.. thinking back to his interview where he said he viewed Sunday's game as his Super Bowl. Rough business.
  3. Zuck admitting the Biden/Harris Admin pressured him to censor Americans will get about 5 seconds, if that, on the evening news and the people who need to hear this will go on continuing to believe the govt is here to help & our news media tells them the truth.
  4. In preseason no less.. Gross
  5. Post-DNC EchelonInsights Poll shows Trump +1 Nationally. Trump +1 in the updated PolyMarket Betting Odds. Jake Tapper posting that his Dem sources have it basically tied in the Blue Wall, with admitting Kamala has lost ground with white men in PA and down by a couple points. On the flip, I do think she’s live in North Carolina. If NC is winnable for her, then - in theory - so should Georgia, but Trump consistently polls the best there out of all the swing states.
  6. Really strong optics for Trump showing up at Arlington cemetery while Biden & Harris are nowhere to be found today.
  7. Blue Anon has entered the chat
  8. People also won’t address legitimate concerns brought up by RFK about Big Ag & the FDA in relation to childhood sickness and increase in autism/cancers or Pharma & the drugging of this country. So when he’s dismissed as a crazy person over questions many people are now having, they’ll start to say well.. if they attack him over something so obvious as to be questioned, how do I know he’s not correct on his other claims?
  9. Conservatives and Classical Liberals defending free speech, yet again, while modern day Democrats (and their counterparts around the western world) defend another assault on free speech.
  10. Xavier Worthy was a buzzy name stock riser due to the combine. Keon Coleman’s stock dropped due to the combine. Rashee Rice came on last year and established himself as a reliable #2 to an elite established TE in Kelce. Khalil Shakir came on late last season and became our best WR, but nobody will view him like Rice until he does it without Diggs. Hollywood Brown has shown WR1 ability and then bounced around, has dealt with injuries. Curtis Samuel has shown one really good season a few years. Theres a reason why people view KC’s WR trio as better than ours. Doesn’t mean it has to be that way, but going into the season, it makes sense to be the consensus view. It’s also a view influenced by the existence of Kelce, while we have Kincaid.. who might be great, we’ll see.
  11. What I wouldn’t give to find a way to close out this summer with Jahan Dotson and Micah Hyde on this roster..
  12. We could swing it with our cap situation moving forward, but it means you’re letting Brown & Shakir (at minimum) walk. Von, Knox & Milano come off the books, potentially, in two years. Better have a bunch more drafts like we’ve had the past few years though.
  13. Im pretty sure I saw him downtown in Greenville, SC the other day. Maybe he’s working out at Clemson? Definitely strange that he can’t even get a chance, unless he’ll only play for a set price.
  14. This is the more overarching issue. Even if he gets back fully healthy for Week 1… this is who he is.
  15. I don’t think we’re trading for him because I doubt Dallas would ever consider it, but I feel like Beane would definitely call and he is Keon’s cousin. The price tag is big, but he’s a Top 5 WR and it’s reported that some of the hang up is cash flow/structuring. Jerry can do it if he wants to, but there’s only a handful of GM’s that can financially just say ok to a heavy frontloaded cash flow, and Pegula is one of them.
  16. For the right player, just make the move now and structure the cap hits for future years. We probably will, but don’t have to, wait until the money is officially off the books. If Beane had another draft class looking like the one he just had, we’re going to be able to stock the depth/rotation of this roster with cheap talent.
  17. I mean.. Pegula is one of the handful of owners in the league that would have no problem giving Ceedee his cash flow demands … Jerry is obviously one of the others, so, not sure what his hold up is.
  18. Lol.. ok, if we somehow traded for Ceedee Lamb, we will not have a high 1st next year… stop it.
  19. Keon Coleman’s cousin posting cryptic on IG… (Ceedee Lamb) I’ve definitely been on the “we have enough” wagon, but my goodness… these injuries are insane. For that guy, I’m on the phone if I’m Beane on the off chance he’s available. Not overly concerned with most of those injuries as they are minor or players we hopefully won’t need/have depth for, but Samuel with turf toe is less than ideal… at worst, a major issue.
  20. Not mean at all .. the excuses are valid for injury, but at a some point if you can't stay healthy while other teams can, that's a you problem.
  21. This is true, but they've also had some good injury luck compared to the other contending teams. Nobody of the caliber of Tre White, Von Miller, Matt Milano has been down due to injury in the playoffs (except for one game where Mahomes went out towards the end), let alone the avalanche of injuries we had last year.
  22. Some rumblings out of Washington about Jahan Dotson.. what if we could move Cook for a guy like Dotson straight up? I know we're 99% not moving Cook, but that's the type of trade I'd listen to.
  23. I'm seeing a lot of people resigned to this being a down year or becoming openly frustrated with the roster building for this season. I'm not going to say that we're better than last year or those people don't have justifiable reason to feel that way.. but I don't see this roster in the same way. So what has to happen for y'all to feel like we have a Super Bowl contending squad again? For me: 1) I believe the OL will be a strength again. We have talent and depth that has been in the system for multiple years now and Kromer is one of the best in the game. When we look at the AFC contenders, I think the Bills and Chiefs likely have the two best OL's. 2) Kincaid makes the jump to a legitimate "focal point of the Offense" type player. 3) One WR steps up to give us a reliable 3rd option outside Shakir & Samuel. 4) Von & Jones return to 80%+ of what they were pre-injury and Rousseau stays healthy, making the jump to a double digit sack EDGE. 5) LB opposite Bernard & both Safety positions give us baseline average play and don't become liabilities as I think we need the DL and CB's to carry this Defense. Not factoring in coaching (Babich/Brady), as we don't really know what they want to do yet, are these five points too much to hope for if we're being realistic? Anything else that should be added?
