It's so tempting to try and make this happen, as Safety (IMO) is really the only weak spot on this team. (Bills colored glasses and all) But they have Edwards & Bishop coming back at some point.. and my guess is if they were healthy and practicing, we wouldn't be having a conversation about spending big money on a Safety... even one of Simmons caliber.

He went from winning the state by 11 points, running under false pretense, to winning re-election by 7 points.. in a reliably blue state, in which he presided over record net migration out of Minnesota, mainly to Florida and Texas. Hes a manufactured hicklib to pair with manufactured brat Kamala, running a campaign based on vibes. It only works if Trump continues being a one man clownshow.

Harris/Walz, policy-wise is an absolutely insane ticket. Way outside the mainstream views on almost every major topic. That being said.. none of that matters if the media doesn’t cover any of it, doesn’t demand they answer any questions and Trump continues to self sabotage his campaign.

If he’s going to go this route and blatantly lie about his service, Republicans need to swift boat him all the way back to Minnesota.

Speaking of which, Tim Walz set up a Covid snitch hotline to rat out anyone who violated stay at home orders. Kamala Harris won’t tell us where she stands, so all we can do is look at her past and then compare it to her VP. Tim Walz presents himself as an aww shucks grandpa, but disregard all of the attacks, except his view on parents/kids/gender and his willingness to set up a neighborhood snitch program. That is the premise for turning neighbor against neighbor on a level we’ve never seen in this country. It’s a slow creep, until all of a sudden it’s happening. I’m certainly hoping we don’t find out if that slow creep turns into, it’s happening, if these two get into office. The saving grace being states rights and my living down south. Problem is.. you’ve moved the Overton Window. We no longer argue about gay marriage. Now we’re arguing about children being allowed to access life altering treatments that are banned now in Europe. Tim Walz signed a law allowing the state to take away your children if you don’t affirm their gender, including these treatments. At some point does any of this bother you? Will it ever bother you, enough to at least abstain from supporting it? Im sure I know the answer, but we’re approaching a cultural divide that lends itself to people being unable to view each other as neighbors if this continues…. If I knew my neighbor believed my child should be taken away because I opposed what I believe to be a phase … how can I not view you as my enemy?

Shes been gifted the easiest road to the presidency in modern history (not even counting her idiot opponent) What do you think happens in a primary? Do you think she’s be the nominee if Dems held one? Last time she participated Tulsi Gabbard murdered live on tv and her campaign fell off a cliff because she could never consolidate on a platform. She was too wish washy, and then washed out. Now, with no primary, only a few months with a honeymoon phase, followed by the DNC, she might not even need to elaborate on policy. It’s been 17 days now and still zero questions from the media. None of this would be acceptable for a typical nominee. They’d have gone through the rigors of a primary and the public would have seen the oppo research dump, plus learned of their main policy stances - as well as where they stand, generally, on other topics. We have none of that. And it’s by design. Her campaign is empty. Just like her platform. Just like her astroturfed influencers.

Then bizarrely states you’re “not an idiot” and challenges a person you’ve never met to a proverbial d*** measuring contest over aptitude, job and salary. Yes. You are aware that are very different levels to this, correct.. Not that I think it should matter, but we literally found out last week that her husband cheated on his first wife and forced her to have an abortion. That stuff comes out when you’re the nominee. What are her policy provisions? Where are they? Can you direct me to them? Because she won’t talk about them.. She hasn’t outlined them anywhere. What other candidate gets that ability if they have to go through a primary? Answer.. nobody.

If you’re so concerned with Democracy, it should worry you that we had an entire half of the election cycle around a man who won his party’s nomination, and then got forced out simply because he was going to lose. And now we have someone running for President with the benefit of no primary, no public vetting, a short runway to the Presidency and she STILL can’t answer questions or outline her policy stances.

We’ll never agree on much. Your side wants the government to provide, protect and take care of you.. no matter the cost. I fundamentally oppose that level of weakness.

The entire campaign is fake… Empty candidate. Media creation. No policy. Astroturfed support. The greatest social experiment of our time, to see if a hollow campaign orchestrated by the powers that be, can win the Presidency.
