I know you never put one second of thought into the premise of your second paragraph until white refugees came over.

We should honestly just accept that we cannot win a trade war with China unless the leader who takes them on is willing to destroy his/her political party for 1-2 election cycles. We can hit them with mutually assured destruction and maybe get a few concessions, which is hopefully what Trump can get as China was clearly struggling more than we are with this trade war.. but Xi can far more easily manipulate their economic factors and wait it out. Trump has a a year before any fallout starts affecting the midterms and Powell at the Fed unwilling to budge. We’re just not set up, with our election cycles, to truly take on China in any meaningful way. Trump is trying, but it was always going to be chaotic and risky.

Theres remnants of the town on the lake floor. Someone dies in Lake Lanier 2-3 times per Summer. Theres some cool restaurants you can dock at on the lake, along with Jimmy Buffett’s island, but on the weekends it’s insanely crowded. The area around Lake Lanier is about as MAGA as it gets. This is also where they filmed Ozarks.

The MAGA Bernie bro circle is complete. Again.. With people like Trump, Vance, Hawley etc as loud voices in the Republican Party, they’re reshaping it as a Fiscally Populist / Socially Conservative movement. And while I don’t necessarily love this approach from Trump here.. if they can keep most old school Republicans in the fold by having Rubio, DeSantis types to offer them.. this becomes incredibly difficult for Democrats to contend with as America is increasingly hawkish on immigration, socially moderate/lean conservative and economically populist.

I don’t know what is qualified for SoD anymore because our last administration was a disaster globally, had free falling enlistment numbers, generals in sex kink animal masks and was led by a guy that disappeared for a week and didn’t tell anyone. So, sorry, I’m not worried about Hegseth when, so far, we’ve had success in reclaiming the Panama Canal and breaking the will of the Houthi’s, along with rising enlistment numbers.

“Unqualified loyalists” Right.. we definitely need qualified people like Fauci, Clapper, Brennan, Comey and Austin. Bang up job by all involved. And not for nothing, but this kind of Rachel Maddow talk is so utterly boring.

Audio: Biden interview - decline was worse then we knew
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Honestly it’s pretty insane that we don’t know who was running the country for 4 years. We had open borders and the leader of the country probably wasn’t even aware this policy was being ushered in under his name. -

This basically the view of high ranking Catholic leadership. They upset both sides with their stance on abortion/marriage and immigration/climate change. It was always hilarious that libs were championing him over an X post about JD Vance’s migration stance.

Trump now has a better approval rating in New Jersey than Murphy.

Trump’s trip to the Middle East
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Theo Von traveling around with Trump in the Middle East is my favorite timeline ever. -
Politico and Axios both having admit Trump fears were, once again, overblown by the media. Exhausting. If not for all the fear-mongering on the tariffs, who knows where Trump’s polling would be, because he’s pretty strong right now on everything else. And Dems know it, which is why we have to deal with this idiotic Qatari airplane leading the A-bloc on these low grade propaganda shows.

Trump is probably the only President I believe can negotiate complex peace deals. Im not sure why those that hate him can’t acknowledge the relative global calm in comparison to other Presidents that we had under Trump 45. Russia invaded Ukraine before and after him.. not really during his tenure. He negotiated the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which Biden mangled in the execution of.. he killed terror leaders without much retaliation and his admin negotiated the Abraham Accords, which will likely be expanded upon during 47. India/Pakistan was about to pop off.. until it didn’t. Id honestly be surprised if he doesn’t negotiate a new Iran deal and the end of the Ukraine/Russia war in the next year or two.

Buffalo Bills 2025 Regular Season Schedule
SCBills replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I doubt it.. Between the matchup, and more importantly.. the sentimental notion of “last season opener at (insert name)”, I can certainly see massive demand for Bills fans on that one. Don’t think it has much of anything to do with Baltimore fans making a trip. -
Buffalo Bills 2025 Regular Season Schedule

Reply section so confused as to why Bills/Jets Week 18 is on here 😂 -
Falcons have no buzz in Atlanta. Only teams that do are the Braves and Dawgs. There will be an absurd number of Bills fans at this game. I’d say easily over half the stadium.

Luckily it’s a rare occurrence in dating.. at least down here in the South. She’s the first time I’ve ever encountered that. And I agree that politics are important beyond a hook up. I could never settle down with someone like that and vice-versa.

What in the world happened to this guy? Out of nowhere he’s talking like Trump on steroids. This is now multiple days of ultra-nationalistic posting.

Joe Marino goes into this, but Ogunjobi with his experience against Baltimore and Hoecht as a guy we could get creative with in a 4-3/5-2 alignment being out isn’t ideal. But at least if we face them in the playoffs, we’ll have some new wrinkles to throw at them. That said.. Bosa, Rousseau and a bunch of high draft picks.. we should have enough and this isn’t an overwhelming passing attack for Hairston, should he be the starter.
