  1. Bills have given me zero reason to think they would panic-play a guy who can't help and, in the process, would be risking his career.
  2. If that is the news, of course it's all about his safety and making sure he's ready to go.. but what would be the difference between coming back next weekend (should we win Sunday) vs coming back for the Championship Game? It's not like the Super Bowl, where there's two weeks in-between to get someone ramped up. Either way, it would be him thrown into the fire.. whether its the Bengals offense or the Chiefs offense (most likely). I'd agree that it would be shocking to hear he's practicing this week, and will play this weekend, but if he's given the go-ahead.. it would also be surprising to me that he would be designated to return if we make the AFCCG. I'd think the timeline would make more sense to get him ramped up this week, hopefully win Sunday, and then get him ready to go against Cincy.
  3. Has to be Hyde related.. my guess. Von Miller obviously isn't coming back. Nobody would get that hype over Jamison Crowder being activated. The way it's worded, with the emoji's used, doesn't scream anything Hamlin related.
  4. I'd be shocked if Tua doesn't play, even though it seems to me that the line has to be reflecting people thinking that is not the case.. either way, if he plays, the Miami Dolphins (and by extension the NFL), better hope nothing happens to him. After what our guys just went through, it would be just grotesque to see him go down again like we've seen multiple times this year.
  5. I'd tend to agree with Giardi. Tasker talked about this as well.
  6. Well said. The two seed was worth playing for. We did, we won. Regardless, we wouldn't have gotten NE anyway if we tanked the game, given we'd drop to the three. Out of all the teams that made the playoffs, who are people wanting over Miami? Chargers?... Ravens? Bills and Bengals are in similar situations.. Home Games against decent teams if their QB plays. If their QB doesn't, about as good as you could ask for in the Playoffs.
  7. We saw Cincy on defense for one drive and only we stopped ourselves with Allen/Beasley not connecting on an easy pitch and catch walk in TD. Without Von and Hyde, our defense is very similar to Cincy's. Both defenses are better than the Chiefs.
  8. We consistently had whoever is opposite Rousseau looping to Canada, completely out of the play. We need someone over there to step up. Meanwhile, would be super cool if Ed Oliver can at least attempt to be a top 10 pick in the middle against good teams.
  9. Cappa got hurt for the Bengals yesterday as well.. not sure of the severity. I know the Bengals had something to play for, I guess.. but if he's out for the playoffs, that's 2/5ths of their starting OL out going into the post-season.
  10. This is the correct answer.
  11. Only caveat is if Lamar plays and the Ravens upset the Bengals, I'd rather play the Jags than the Chargers.
  12. If Tua is playing, I’m just scratching my head over how MIN/NY isn’t the 1 pm game. Much bigger ratings window at 4 pm.. Nobody cares about Minnesota and is the NY market that strong to offset no star QB on either side? Just don’t see the juice for that game. Screams 1 pm to me. CIN/BAL in primetime I get, (if) Lamar is playing.
  13. Posted this in the Game Thread. If Tua was playing, our game is way more enticing, with much more star power than MIN/NY.. and CIN/BAL may or may not have Lamar .. if not, yikes. Maybe they think we roll regardless, but the Saturday Night game was legit.
  14. Much more star power than MIN/NY … unless it’s a network contractual time slot thing. And especially if Lamar doesn’t play … that night game could be awful.
  15. 1 pm leads me to believe someone knows something about Tua’s status. Doesn’t make sense otherwise, imo.
  16. Jamaal Williams going 0-100 with the quickness in this interview here
  17. Probably trying to figure out what to do with this horrific SF/Seattle game now
  18. Rodgers has the look of a guy who’s walking out of Lambeau as a Packer for the last time.
  19. Rodgers probably shouldn’t have called them “that team” earlier this season
  20. Downside … Seattle is such a trash team to make the playoffs. Punt that game to the moon.
  21. Yup .. If you’re ever out at a bar/club and encounter someone like that .. walk away. No self control.
  22. I did NOT see this coming for the Packers…
  23. Wyatt lucky he didn’t get ejected too. Gross display by the Packers right there.
