So, I’m supposed to believe the Jets (rumored front runner) are going to find him 15/yr when they are already structuring a Rodgers contract with multiple 20M+ void years?

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
SCBills replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t expect non-Bills fans to think Allen is better than Mahomes. He’s the gold standard until proven otherwise. He also sat his first year and joined a playoff caliber roster with a brilliant offensive mind and a franchise that has been extremely proactive in giving him protection and weapons. I simply wonder how Allen would look in that situation .. or if his defense/coaching didn’t let him down in 13 seconds. -
Trump would rather commit seppuku than let DeSantis protect him and become the story by not extraditing him. Trump knows this was a political gift from Bragg. He’ll pretend to be upset. He’s undoubtedly overjoyed right now.

A trans person shot up Christian school children. This administration treats trans people as the victim of that shooting. Donald Trump Jr is on Twitter dropping f-bombs calling out KJP and the Biden Admin for that. They know they need someone who fights. Not some conversion therapy weirdo out of central casting who’s on CNN the night a political party weaponized our Justice System beyond repair.

He doesn’t need moderates to get the nomination. As someone who desperately wants DeSantis or Youngkin instead of Trump, unless he legally can’t run, I fear this made Trump the nominee today. …and I will do whatever it takes to vote for him, and convince others to do the same, against this demented puppet being used as a figurehead for the most divisive and incompetent administration in American history. Many will hold their nose and do the same.

Wish they would just sign Klein at lb
SCBills replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
Campbell is the only true MLB. Sanders can play MLB, but is a pass rusher/linebacker hybrid. That's about it. Everyone else is more of Milano type for us. -

I also wonder if we might be fine with two undersized linebackers. I'm not ruling out McDermott thinking a year 2 Bernard is the answer. Look at the linebackers coming out of college... there's a ton of converted Safety types and some 3-4 run stuffers. Says a lot when there's only two consensus Top 100 pick guys that can play the traditional MLB role coming out of college this year. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
SCBills replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Whether covid, online censorship, gatekeeping in media etc., it’s only ever been about aggregating power over us. Im entirely open to a rational conversation about more gun control. However, these people are not rational and only want control. Therefore, I don’t trust them .. at all .. when it comes to stripping away rights from Americans. Im sure they realize, but people like me will never forget how Dems have acted during covid. It affects how I view everything now. -

Jordan Phillips back with Bills 1 year deal
SCBills replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Glad to have him back. He’s definitely the best option we have for the money we seem willing to pay. Interesting DT room. Four DT’s. None under contract for ‘24. Room is deep enough that drafting a DT doesn’t seem necessary - but if they do, given our future DT look, are we carrying 5 active DT’s on the 53 all year? -

SCBills replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Isn't part of the allure the idea that if Arizona eats some of this years salary, that this year would be 10-15M. with next year being 14.9M? I don't see why we'd trade for him and then restructure his contract to pay him more. -
NFL Network layoffs begin, ESPN layoffs expected

Brutal decision. Giardi was fantastic. -
I honestly don't hate it. I have zero desire for a pure MLB in RD1, but Drew Sanders is more of a pass rushing LB. Would be interesting to see how we use him. I don't know much about Keion White or Byron Young, but we do need to keep taking swings on the DL. DT in RD3 makes a lot of sense, especially if we don't sign Phillips. EDGE is a need.. it's wildly annoying.. but it is. I like Mingo. Rounds out the WR room nicely if we decide to, once again, not invest heavy in weapons for Allen. I will say - a WR alignment of Diggs/Davis outside with Shakir in the slot, with Harty as WR4 rotating in at all three spots, Mingo as WR5 (outside WR) and Sherfield as WR6 (slot WR) makes a lot of sense. Developmental/Depth Safety, again, logical pick. Unless we go RD1, maybe RD2 at Tackle, whoever we take is simply depth with Quessenberry. Just take a guy on Day 3 and see if you hit. This mock draft isn't what I'd do, but Sanders/White/Young is a lot of pass rush upside and Mingo in Round 4 would be a great fit on this team.

NFL Network layoffs begin, ESPN layoffs expected
SCBills replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Stephen A. Works his butt off and is entertaining and relatively open minded. I can’t imagine any scenario he gets let’s go. Bonnetta was cute and pretty funny. ESPN is a disaster outside some mainstays and people like Orlovsky. Half the network openly pushes half the potential audience away… which is an interesting business tactic. Stan Verrett, latest example. -
I completely agree. I’m a millennial, but we’ve lost the youth. Conservatives didn’t take seriously the threat posed by activists, culture and technology and here we are. …. And when we desperately need principled pushback, we’ll get Trump as the R nominee … not helping anything.
