The videos coming out of France right now… Absolute mayhem.

Do the Bills seem to have more outspoken players coming at issues from the right, or does it just seem that way due to being a team in NY? Between covid and now this.. I’m curious if other teams have these “controversies”. Off the top of my head, I know Nick Bosa is an outspoken MAGA guy but he’s also the best pass rusher in the league, so San Fran fans arent trying to rock that boat. Micah Parsons attacked Biden recently .. and then had to walk it back when liberals got all upset. Justin Jackson is vocal about issues from anti-establishment progressive viewpoint. Off the top of my head, that’s all I can really think of since Kaep. The NFL seems to keep a tight lid on politics in comparison to NBA & MLB. NHL seems to be going the way of the NFL in shutting down politically charged content. And the UFC is basically the inverse of the NBA with a heavy right leaning fanbase and athlete sentiment.

Sounds like Biden just came out against elective third trimester abortion. That shouldn’t be noteworthy in a civilized society, but here we are .. and it’s, at least, notable.

I find that I can have discussions on Ukraine, China, Abortion, Economics, Healthcare, Inmigration etc., with progressive/liberal types. I say that because I can understand where they are coming from with their views. I understand why people want abortion access in a flawed world. I understand the impulse to provide a Medicare For All type approach. Higher taxes on the wealthy, a welcoming view of illegal immigration, the want for more gun control etc.., I don’t usually agree .. but if I can understand why you’d feel that way, we can have a discussion and find middle ground. That being said… Ive noticed a dividing line when it comes to the increasing push for TQ+ / Cultural Marxism. I’ve advocated for gay rights most of my life. The genesis of my strong views for LGB equality coming from watching my uncle slowly pass away from cancer as his husband, who now takes care of my grandparents back in NY as if they were his own parents, exemplified true love. I’m forever changed witnessing how selfless and caring he was, and still is. However, I cannot find common ground, nor can I understand where TQ+ is coming from. I truly believe it is part of a larger Marxist movement meant to tear down the family, culture and traditional norms, only to be replaced with their values. Values I do not hold. Values I find abhorrent. I find many conservatives are now feeling the same way. And many moderates as well… For many Dems “Trump” was that line. I think for many people like me.. “TQ+” is now that line. I will never disavow family and close friends. But I have no desire to meet new people who subscribe to values that I view as empirically antithetical to my belief system .. As an aggressive attack on my core beliefs.

I voted No .. anyone currently in my life, I wouldn’t cut out of it due to political disagreements. One side of my family is very liberal, and we somehow made it through covid .. even with my grandma calling me periodically asking why I haven’t gotten vaccinated. If we can get through that, hopefully we can get through anything. That being said .. I would never date an aggressively liberal woman. The moral differences in how we would raise a child are just too vast nowadays.

You can vote against the party and two things will happen.. They will attempt to bribe you with positions, political favors etc.. And / Or They will withhold party funding and primary you.

Most of these incidents occur with teachers. Followed by church leaders. Both are wrong and both should face the fullest extent of consequences. Unlike your side, I don’t see a ton of people trying to excuse away sexual abuse from priests.

There’s a massive contingent of vocal gays that would tell you life was just fine for them this past decade. Only recently, when Pride was hijacked, do they feel like things are going backwards. And they know exactly why. Look at all the recent Pride parades. Do you see many normal gay men? Or do you see out of shape, young Q folks, half naked black lesbians, trans-everything and angry white women? I’ve been to plenty of Pride parades. This isn’t - at all - what it used to be. There’s no pride at these events anymore. No joy. It’s mainly fetish and grievances.

Nope. I do not care what their reasoning is. I have no patience for the TQ+ takeover of Pride. No self respecting LGB who just wants to live in peace chants that in jest. Sadly, they no longer have a place at Pride. Although, if the new Pride activists want to chant “woodchipper goes brrrrrr”, I’ll make an exception.

Believe it or not, but most people don’t believe in sexualizing children and allowing them to mutilate their bodies at a young age. These issues, should you continue to push them, will flip the script .. as we currently see social conservatism on the rise and R’s making gains with Hispanics and Muslims.

He’s removing special privileges Disney has in relation to other companies. He’s not taking away what is provided to every other company. They decided they want to have a say in Florida politics, against the will of the people… he has every right to remove the advantageous privilege they had over everyone else.

I’ll settle for what he did in Florida. Took a swing state and made it deep red, went after Disney, removed CRT from schools, ESG from business, removed Soros DA’s and has some of the most conservative laws in the country … while making huge inroads into the Hispanic community (a demo that R’s need moving forward). He may not have the greatest personality, but he’s surgical in getting stuff done.
