  1. I haven’t done any research on it either, but injuries have probably been the difference between the Bills and Chiefs in every one of our playoff losses (minus our first matchup in the AFC CG) Which is why a game like Thursday is so important because getting the 1 seed is so massive in terms of staying healthy for a playoff run.
  2. More in the sense that I don’t trust guys like Milano and Johnson to stay healthy. Just seems like we have a bunch of guys on the Back 7 that hold a 20% chance every game, to miss the next game.
  3. Annoying to be down Oliver & Milano, but the Dolphins just put 2/5ths of their OL on IR, so I’m not going to complain too much. Re: Milano, it just makes me worried long term. This Defense has a ton of potential, but alot of relies on certain guys… Rapp, Milano, Taron, Bernard, Benford, Bosa staying healthy. Two games in and we’re already having to deal with missed games from Taron Johnson and Matt Milano. That being said.. very quickly it seems clear that the key to this defense is making sure Bosa and Benford are healthy in the Playoffs. We’ve never had a Bosa type power player at this level for the playoffs and Benford hasn’t be available in our Chiefs losses.
  4. Why can I, a normal citizen, understand that this was CLEARLY premeditated, but those were supposed to trust in our Justice System cannot?
  5. They already had a punt blocked. An XP block returned does the same thing.
  6. There’s zero rationale to go up 2 there when you can go up 3 and eliminate a loss on something fluky
  7. Baker is such a dawg
  8. I’ve volunteered with groups that help the homeless. The sad truth is most of them don’t want to be off the streets. The even sadder truth is that many of them have severe mental illness and/or drug addiction. States like California allot tons of money to NGO’s for the homeless, with no accounting on where it goes and no results to speak of. What Kilmeade said was absurd and dehumanizing. And if our elected leaders don’t start keeping people safe, his comment.. as callous as it is.. won’t sound so crazy to a growing number of people.
  9. It’s more the players we choose to rely on. Taron Johnson is constantly banged up and now nearing the end, likely 1-2 more good years. Matt Milano is hurt all the time. Ed Oliver was just bad luck. We shouldn’t be shocked when guys who are constantly injured, get injured.
  10. Schefter on McAfee with some weirdly ominous news about something bad about to break in the NFL and “you’ll know it when you see it” but he couldn’t break it because it’s not out there yet. Strange…
  11. All the more reason to get the 1 seed and avoid the Bengals sneaking with Burrow back as the 7.
  12. Brady is getting on my nerves this year
  13. Works at a mental health NGO People can call us hypocrites all they want, but these people… teachers, professors, nurses, doctors, therapists etc., need to be rooted out of positions of trust and influence. They are poisonous to those around them and cannot be trusted in a professional capacity to uphold the trust we put in them.
  14. If the trans community just wanted to be left alone, I’d say leave them alone. I have no issue with an adult trans person who feel their true identity is that of another gender and acts as such. I wouldn’t discriminate against them, and I think you’d notice in my posts, I also refer to them as they wish… for instance, I’m not purposefully calling the trans gf of the killer a man.. she identified as a woman, and I’m pretty sure if you look at my posts, that’s how I referred to her. That said, as a movement, they don’t want to be “left alone”. We have drag queen story hours for children antagonistically thrown in our faces. We have children, who don’t know any better, making irreversible choices for their body. We have biological men playing women’s sports and in women’s locker rooms. 80% of America does not like any of that. So it’s not just “we want to be left alone” … a lot of conservatives, like me, would have zero issue with the community if that was the case.
  15. I disagree with your numbers.. I pulled mine from the AP, which right wingers dispute, but it’s a number to go off of. To answer your questions about RW fixation on trans shooters, probably because of Covington Catholic. Most mass shootings have simply been angry, loner kid shoots up school. Covington Catholic was a targeted attack on the faith most RW hold, and to top it off, the authorities and media played games with the investigation and transparency due to the nature of the shooter .. which incensed the right. Theres also a ton of violent threats from the far left trans community towards the right on social media. The RW certainly takes notice of that. Specifically death threats towards conservative leaders… like Charlie Kirk.
  16. Yea, the others are a problem too. White people shooting up schools, black gang violence… we have something seriously wrong in this country. I won’t sugarcoat or absolve any of that. I will say there has pretty much been a trans/non-binary mass shooting per year over the last 7 years, culminating with what is probably going to a very difficult national conversation once the details of the Kirk assassination come out. Trans/non-binary identifying people are exploding in numbers and we have a clear trend of violence over the past few years. It needs to be addressed.. and it likely will be once the details of this story are fleshed out. 1% of the population can’t be committing a mass shooting per year since 2018 and nobody notices.
  17. There have been 5 verified mass shootings (debatably more, but I’ll acquiesce to that number) involving trans/non-binary people, since 2018. And based on what’s floating around X, you’re really not going to like where this investigation of Charlie Kirk’s murder goes. That’s an obscene number for 1% of the population in such a short period of time.
  18. Yea.. this is probably going to go deep. Lots of this floating around out there. And it sounds like the trans gf is cooperating out of self preservation as she would also be subject to the death penalty if involved.
