This is a really sensitive issue Chef. As I’ve previously stated, my wife is a TRAINED professional in this area. There are times when telling the parents can actually be a real problem. Not everyone goes home to a loving family.

Why is it the least bit surprising to anyone that a left leaning judge would be more liberal on sentencing guidelines? This would only be a story if she said “Throw the book at them!”

Geez people! Teachers and counselors are REQUIRED to pass this sort of information and concern on to an administrator. That’s not debatable. They’re not required to call the parents but are required to inform a school official or social service worker who is TRAINED in how to handle these topics. For the one millionth time…..classroom teachers are NOT marriage/family therapists or social workers.

Interesting factoid: Uncle Fester was a child actor named Charlie Koogan. His parents ‘stole’ all the money he made in his childhood. So now if you’re a child actor you must first show proof of having opened a Koogan Account into which your earnings are deposited where your parents can’t touch it. They actually check your Account number every day before you can appear on set.

Not to make this into a Covid thread…but after the first few weeks almost all of the advice was the EXACT opposite of what we should have been told to do. History and SCIENCE are going to prove that out.

FYI: Here in Southern California most new construction is already required to have solar panels.

The word freak doesn’t offend me. It’s an offense when used in a thread about the LGBT community. And no I don’t want to be a moderator, but I’m intrigued with how absolutely miserable you are. No argument there. Remember that this inflationary surge has messed up everything for everyone except those that are purposely creating it.

This is not unusual. As an owner of a major company I can tell you that management has gotten very accustomed to low inflation and figure that a 3 or 4% raise will more than suffice for COLA. It’ll take a bit to catch up. I’d imagine most companies want to believe the Biden train wreck will eventually see the light.

As I lay hear on an American beach surrounded by people of every possible creed and color I can tell you that you’re all full of sheet. You’ve really got to get out more. Pathetic
