To follow up on my point above, just look at this week. The Pacific time zone has the Rams, Seahawks, Broncos and 49ers all hosting home games. The only decent team there are the 49ers and they have the lackluster Cardinals in town. Does anyone care? Probably not, but the NFL isn’t going to have those teams play at 10:00am!

The Bills do not match up well against tough, physical teams like the Ravens. On the other hand, the Bills do very well against just about every other kind of opponent…which is why they’ve hovered around 12 wins most recent years. So, are the Texans a tough, physical team?

I’m not sure how much flexing the OP looking for. Week to week? Every week? That would be a nightmare for teams, networks and most importantly the in-stadium fans. The problem is that there are now three non-Sunday afternoon games each week (Thursday, Sunday and Monday night). And recently there have been TWO Monday night games. That right there significantly waters down the potential ‘marquee’ matchups available on Sunday afternoons. Add to that the fact that the traditional late afternoon games by default have to feature Pacific/Mountain time zone teams. Those teams (49ers, Chargers, Rams, Cardinals, Raiders, Broncos, and Seahawks) all pretty much stink this year, with the exception of San Francisco and maybe Seattle…and many believe the jury is still out on them. It’s a built in recipe for challenging programming in the late afternoon time slot. As with most things, it’s not complicated!

He came out wearing a baseball cap instead of his helmet and barely smelled the field on Sunday night. I have to believe he knew this was coming.

Nobody is arguing that, but as a pure running back it’s not even close.

These refs are as bad as the two teams. Holding penalties being missed all over the place. Sheeesh

I’m not convinced that the design wasn’t to have Josh keep rolling right and run the ball! That entire side of the field was empty.

He was absolutely terrible. It looked like he had no idea what was going on or what he should be doing on any play. Truly embarrassing!

Yep, and if you look downfield it doesn’t appear that the receivers had fooled anyone….so I actually wonder if it was even a pass play at all. I have a feeling it was designed to be a naked bootleg run!

Thats true….and like most of us I thought at the time, why hand the ball to the QB on the left side of the line if everyone was already lured that way. Watching it again, I’m convinced that he was actually supposed to roll RIGHT. Dawkins misses the block, Samuel is blown up on the lateral, and Josh has to reverse direction. A total mess!

You REALLY have a question about what will "happen from there"? Really? I think we all know what will happen.

See my comment above and REALLY watch the replay, over and over again. I thought the same as you until watched the replay.

So, yes, it was a ridiculous play call....but....it was HORRIBLE execution by a whole bunch of players. Football is like an organized dance. On that play we dropped our partner on her head! Sheeeesh!

Except nobody told that Carter kid. He looked like the ONLY Bills defensive player who wanted to make a statement.

What is lost in all of the chatter about the trick play is the Dawkins completely missed his block. Like most of you, I thought why bring the Defense to the side of Allen? But when you look at it again, and again, I'm not sure that was the play AT ALL! Dawkins whiff forces a bad lateral by Samuel that makes Josh go back to his left. I believe the design was for Josh to keep going to keep rolling out to his right.
