Ravens @ Bills ****Predict the score****
Mat68 replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
27 to 16 Buffalo. -
Very easy have the De get up field and attack Jackson. Make him uncomfortable. Read option De is not blocked. Attack Jackson. Rely on the linebakers to make tackles. Do you job and assignment.

Didnt both Denver and Dallas rankings drop after playing Buffalo?.

I can't help but feel a little bad for Kyle Williams.
Mat68 replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm the other. Like the end of a western and the old guy held on until he was no longer needed. For Buffalo to be successful this team had to be Edmunds and Allen's not Williams. Williams legacy was ending the drought and handing the reigns to the team to the new leaders. This year he was wanted but not needed. -
Great coach. He is also a very respected NFL mind. In terms of Defense he is the Shannahan and MCvay style but on defense. He will scheme open pressures, will drop guys into the offenses presumed open windows. The defense is solid. Allen was drafted for winter football. Big armed, big guy. Imo it is not a coincidence that Allen's best games came in December last year. The same I think happens this year. He can make throws that few QBs can make in similar conditions. Brandon Allen could not get the ball ten yards outside the numbers in Buffalo into the wind. Allen threw a 30 yard laser for a TD. I'm curious to see how Jackson handles the cold and wind.

Basic responsibility football. De's have to hold contain. Key force 3rd and long. Make Lamar pick you apart through the air. It a ball control game. Buffalo has to stop Ingram in the middle and Jackson on the boundaries. McDermott and the coaches getting a few extra day should be a big boost in coming up with the gameplan.

I dont see the need for that many re signings. I may be wrong but Buffalo still have control or tags available for Foster and Wallace. McKenzie is interesting and a solid contributor/Beasley backup. Jordan Phillips Imo is a guy I would let test FA. I like Lawson and would give him a fair offer but not over pay.

If Foster Starts Rolling This Team Is Beyond Dangerous
Mat68 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His speed is apparent. Foster as a compliment to Brown and Beasley is a big deal. Teams will almost forget about him. I suspect Foster to sneak behind a defense a few times before the year is out. Allen with the confidence he has Imo will connect on those plays. -
Oliver is becoming a beast. His play has improved considerably over the year.

Grabbing the ball dropped from the shotgun or a running back exchange is one thing. To lose it at the snap on a 4th and short and the ball going into the mass of 300 pd men pile is crazy on it's own. Than to basically bully the defenders like you are in the backyard vs your younger brother puts this play on another level.

That was a terrible call too. His hand was on the top of his shoulder pads in the neck area. I felt the crew was Dallas leaning. The refs imo kept the game from becoming a blow out.

The National Media, TV Personality Narrative

I think Buffalo has a legit shot. Allen's ceiling is the Bill's limit. Perform well against Baltimore New England and now Buffalo is a contender. The key in the NFL is to play your best football in December and January. Yesterday was Buffalo best game. A few calls against Buffalo imo kept the game close. Buffalo has a chance to beat anyone in the conference. -
Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30
Mat68 replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is the must see game of the day. The majority of people assume Buffalo will lose. Dallas is more talented IE better team. If Buffalo can avoid the big gains from their passing attack I feel they match up well with Dallas. I also think Buffalo has some players the rest of the country dont know about. The previous 20 years Buffalo Bill's get blown out. I feel this team is different. I think Buffalo wins and wins fairly easily. 30ish points to 17. -

Dallas are front runners. They get on you early they are a handful. If Buffalo can get an early lead? I think Dallas implodes. Would love to see Allen have a massive game under the NFL spotlight. -
Next 2 (or 3) Bills Road games Nationally Televised
Mat68 replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
CBS would most likely protect that game as their premiere game of the week. -
This ain't College. The Dolphins with Fitz, the Jets with Darnold are not NW Alabama Tech. Buffalo schedule is shaping up but that happens every year to a team. I have never heard it to the level Buffalo took it this year. The Rams with Mcvay year 1 had an easy schedule. The Pat's have the easiest schedule this year. As Parcells said. You are what your record says you are. 7-3 to 8-3 welcome to Thanksgiving. Buffalo can pull the upset or keep it close in Jerry world hold on cause Buffalo is for real. Buffalo is going to beat 1 of the teams they shouldn't. Dallas, Baltimore, or NE. Buffalo wins 1 or more.

That's great the public is what makes Casino owners Billionaires. They shoulda beat the Vikings. The Bill's are not as good as the Vikinngs ergothe Broncos win. bull#### Qb vs McDermotts defense? Yes please. All day. Buffalo shuts down the run the game is over. New spinoff... Bill's Mafia 24.

3-3 over next six games and we make playoffs

The trick is playing your best after Thanksgiving. Buffalo beats a team or 2 the media isnt expecting, all of a sudden Buffalo isnt just a nice little team with an easy schedule. -
Can the Detractors Now Admit Allen's Growth?
Mat68 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dont you remember anything with Taylor. Rushing yards and TDs dont matter. Unless, they play for different teams. But, seriously his play has completely changed since NE. It seems he has taken a step in doing what best for the team. It's like Allen just looked across at Brady and realized even GOAT doesnt have carry the team 24/7. -
The offense with Singletary to Gore is much different than Singletary to Yeldon. Yeldon is a much larger threat out of the backfield vs Gore. Yes, Yeldon is not the runner Gore is between the tackles. Yeldon though is much better off tackle than Gore.

Lamar Jackson: I'll Be Having That Crow Pot Pie Now (edited title)
Mat68 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought Allen and Jackson had the most potential of the QBs in 2018. I think Jackson is a dynamic athlete. The offense the Ravens run is a modern power attack. Overall, I Allen's development the best. He isnt being protected in a gimmicky offense. He is being asked to to take hold of the offense and become a more efficient player. I think he is accomplishing both of those things. This year may not be the gaudy year some wanted but could be the kind of year his career needs.
