  1. Yeah, not everyone is a fan of "labels" in relationships but they help everyone to be on the same page with their expectations so no one gets hurt. The joke. /\ Your head.
  2. We also had a first round uber athletic QB. Houston has a 3rd string project.
  3. If today was Allen regressing, I'll gladly accept him being a full blown bust. I think next week is going to be a game of "how close to +100 can we get our season point differential". Looking forward to seeing Mitch get 3rd quarter playing time since I don't fear (has to look up name of Houston's 3rd string QB).
  4. I don't care if King Kong is dancing a jig on his back, he let a TD pass LITERALLY BETWEEN HIS HANDS without his arms being impeded by the defender.
  5. This year's Steelers?
  6. Oh that should have a chance.
  7. We shut out the Dolphins last week, Jets just got shut out this week, who do the Patriots play next week? I would have loved if the Raiders simply forgot to call a time out there, like "I thought you were doing it" situation.
  8. But gives half credit to whatever team would have lost.
  9. 2-0-1 for Oakland is better than 2-1 for us. We would also have the tiebreaker over Miami at 2-1.
  10. I guess he can't drop it if it passes right between his open hands.
  11. Dolphins dropped a walkoff there lol. I want Miami to win, but don't think PI there.
  12. A bit early on that one there.
  13. Have your high jumper block the kick at the LoS then.
  14. >Rule 12, Section 3, [Article 1](http://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/2016-nfl-rulebook/#article-1.-prohibited-acts) >u. Goal-tending by a defensive player leaping up to deflect a kick as it passes above the crossbar of a goalpost. The referee may award three points for a palpably unfair act (12-3-3). It's not about looks, it's about tiebreakers.
  15. Goaltending isn't the same thing as returning a kick that comes up short... The rules do NOT allow goaltending, they allow kicks that naturally come up short to be returned. Keep up.
  16. As I said, goaltending is easy and cheap, requiring little to no skill or effort. I'm pretty sure back in the day at least one team employed a "be real tall under the goal posts" specialist like a modern team would have a kickoff or return specialist. Dude couldn't run or really do anything else, but being 7 foot tall and able to hop up and down he could do.
  17. A lot of people say that about a lot of placebo things, but whatever works for you.
  18. Blocking a kick off the foot takes effort and skill. Goaltending doesn't.
  19. Why SHOULD it be? Just because?
  20. There is literally a rule against goaltending kicks at the goal posts. Teams used to actually do that.
  21. I thought bring the #1 seed would be goal #1, not worrying about wild card teams.
  22. I don't care if the two wins are against Jax and Houston, 78-21 is 78-21. You don't get to say TWO games don't count while ignoring the flukiest week that is week 1.
  23. I actually want Miami to win. We own them and don't want unbeaten teams in the AFC.
  24. Clear TD for Raiders, crossed the line before getting slapped out.
