  1. Lets go 5-7 but 8-4 in conference & 5-1 in division to finish 9-8. The ultimate put the bullet in the chamber in see what the end result is playoff situation lol, the tie breakers would be wild.
  2. In general the defense has had a lot of mistakes weekly of guys not executing. From bad tackling, issues in coverage, and sloppiness across the board this has been the most unhinged defense McD has had so far. Even last year which you could argue was less talented on paper seemed to play better as a group based on the eye test compared to this year which statistically shows better then 24' is a mess at times to watch. My hope was as guys healed/came back from suspension the defense would improve substantially, but these errors are not talent its player execution which is far more serious issue especially when the offenses since BAL have not been murders row by any means.
  3. I didn't have my white Jersey on and Bills were doing ok. Moment I put it on to join the white out Coleman fumbled and it was all downhill. Moment I took it off Bills scored 10 pts in the last 10 minutes. So its me, I'm the problem it's me. Your going to be denied entry to NYS in the future during Bills seasons
  4. Actually their record in the throwbacks is pretty good lol
  5. The moment the Coleman fumble happened you could see he was off his face read it. They already fumbled and blew decent field position on the Knox sweep and by that point the penalties were coming fast and furious. Then they fumble giving the Pats at least 3 pts for nothing and yea he looked off. I have said the offense in general was the first time all year I felt they were behind the the Pats defense all evening in terms of tempo and dictating play. I never felt they were comfortable and with the errors & chasing the score they seemed to press. Even the Ravens comeback it felt like points and opportunity was there to the way they wanted to do it. For whatever reason Josh against the Pats has been very up and down his entire career outside of the Perfect Game and those two away games in 2020/21. Maybe it is the divisional element or just personnel wise they match up pretty well, but where the Phins he torches them and the Jets he usually is solid the Pats for a while now have been a bugaboo of sorts.
  6. Football is weird honestly. I had the Bills losing to ATL and thought they would have handled business. The Pats lost to the Raiders and Steelers at home but beat Buffalo. It is a week by week league and especially for younger teams up and coming like NE they will have a little more variance as they build up then others. The Pats this year remind of 2019 Bills in a lot of ways and that Bills team had a bad loss in CLE where it felt like they should have won that (CLE had lost 4 straight come in). Whoever lost was going to be annoyed with the refs. Both fanbases had a right to be annoyed, the amount of ticky tact crap was stupid.
  7. 12-5 or better Buffalo will win the division. Dip to 11-6 its 50/50 especially if you do not beat NE in their house.
  8. Gabriel also looked solid at QB and is mobile. Browns might be a spunky team the rest of the year given the talent on D and enough on O to do some things. Granted 5-12 type spunky but spunky lol
  9. No one is debating Josh with the ball in his hand and doing more. I was disappointed he didn't come through last year in the AFC title when he did have the ball. He also left the field in 2021 with the lead twice and never even got to respond. The issue again is this defense never rises period. Pats won multiple SBs with their defense limiting the offense to 20 pts or less including the Rams to just 3 in 2018. Mahomes in two his wins against the 49ers had his defense hold them to 22 & 20. Their is no debating Mahomes did his part scoring wise and it is why it is him and Brady... then everyone else. Hell Mannings last SB he was mostly a passenger to an all world defense and his first SB win came in part because they actually rose up to limit Chicago. The point I refuse to back off from and which points directly to McD is the head coaches sweet spot is supposed to be defense. The investments made have been defense. A no time has the defense in the elimination game actually done enough where you could squarely look and say "they did their part where is the offense". Instead its been the reverse time and time again despite all the investment and McDs scheme. Additionally while Josh is stuck with McD who doesn't even register as a top 10 coach in the league Pat and Brady got two of top five coaches in league history. Josh would be the first to say he needs to do more when it matters, but for an org that says its focused on raising the boats to help him and said as much this offseason there is nothing indicating that is happening or will happen for that matter.
  10. We Need To Pay One Billion Dollars lol McD's defense in playoff losses since 2019 allow on average 30 ppg. Chiefs 25 & Ravens 20 ppg allowed. Josh has been the greatest reason those games have been close even if he has not been perfect. No QB including Mahomes will last when the biggest game every year your looking at needing 30 points just to tie.
  11. Agreed. 99 NFC title he also was royally screwed on the Bert Emanuel "non catch" as they slowed the Greatest Show on Turf down to a crawl. McD doesn't have a single post season loss I could look and say he got hosed as much as he hosed him own team.
  12. No. Once they lost to KC in the AFC title this prior season my faith evaporated he can do it.
  13. Exactly. The amount of resources devoted to the D to help Josh and then see this as the same issue if not worse as apparently they cannot tackle anymore when the head coach himself is a defensive guy is so frustrating. The Bills points allowed in playoff losses is an average of 30.8 since 2019. Chiefs are 25.5 and Ravens are 20.6 since 2019. At some point is the guy who we keep dumping everything into his side of the ball actually going to have them show up and for real? It feels like that meme that says it didn't work before but maybe this time is different. I just don't think it is different anymore this is what you get and yea maybe Josh pulls an Aaron Rodgers 2010 run to get the ring, but he otherwise is being let down and being held to in an insane standard that his competition in KC/BAL aren't because they get that help. Hell its why a narrative exists on Lamar come post season because their defense generally is decent come the post season but the offense has too many days like we did last night.
  14. Yep horsecollar in all in front of him. With that said I generally agreed with the penalties called and the pats had a ton especially late that had they lost I am sure they would've been pissed about.
  15. It was a systematic loss which highlights your greatest fears, worries, and issues that exist. It was a reminder again of the AFC title that if this offense is not 30+ a game which usually means Josh is also near his best then they cannot win.
  16. Maye played a really solid game as needed AND had some really great razzle dazzle plays which if he keeps doing will put him in that top echelon of QBs which separates good to great. Our defense also just cannot tackle and cannot cover which is getting to a point that is going to sink the long term goals of the team. As for the offense it was the first game this season where I do not think they dictated the game on their terms and once they were in catch up mode the mistakes only magnified this. Allen was C+ last night, some good, some great as always, but too much meh or forcing things rather then letting it come to him. Between the penalties and turnovers + the Pats D playing very well you could see they just never found the rhythm they had in the prior four games. That is not common for them and I am sure majority of the upcoming games they will get going but it did expose that they do not have help from the D if they have issues or their off script and the WRs cannot do enough to help either.
  17. Also in a much much larger level he and Brees both had to help rebuild a franchise/city that was literally destroyed by Katrina. This wasn't just a come in, draft well, and go type of thing. The entire operation itself had to be literally reset from the bottom up. That takes a special coach to be able to do that AND also have the success that followed.
  18. Guarantee McD will repeat non stop no penalties no turnovers. But after the Saints you would've thought that message got through. Rings change everything. Payton's offenses also were pretty legendary to the point other coaches asked him routinely including BB what he was doing so well scheme wise. McD has none of that and what is supposed to be his calling card with defense has now eroded to a point you have zero faith in it.
  19. That ignores the bountygate suspension and penalties that really hurt the team for a few years. Ask Saint fans and they still hate Goodell with the passion of a 1000 suns for the way they got hit for that in terms of draft picks etc.. Additionally they lost three consecutive playoff games either by insanely bad luck (Diggs catch) or no penalty call (Roby non call) or OT that last year in 2019 against Kirk Cousins of all people. Payton with a solid roster and decent QB is a very good head coach near the top 5 in football. I cannot say that about McD
  20. Bingo. When the result feels like the AFC title again in terms of errors mistakes and most importantly if the offense is not averaging 30+ a game you can't win idk what to say anymore with the coach. His baby is being a defensive yet the results have gotten worse regular season wise over time and post season its pathetic. Why are just burning years of Josh's career when no result has changed from not making the SB to not even getting the 1 seed. Beane I tend to agree but I have also wondered how much is McD's input on guys he wants and then Beane shops for them. Again his hit rate in rounds 2-3 is just atrocious and part of why the defense is so shaky when most of those resources have been towards D.
  21. This is my point. The Bills will finish will 11-6/12-5 probably the division crown although NE can take it if we don't keep our stuff together and then they fall the same fashion in the postseason. They are consistent enough to be pretty good, but to be great they make the same mistakes yearly with the same issues on D which results in too many what if losses come seasons end. That goes back to your head coach and talent wise to your GM as the defense just lacks any bluechip talent at this point while recycling older broken pieces like Tre back in hoping for a one year blip of decent play.
  22. I have felt this way since the KC loss. What has changed? Defense still sucks despite very resource we have being pumped into it, the coach routinely gets out coached by anyone half decent, and if Josh is not playing at a high level or mistakes happen whether it be his or the teams they lose. Again were wasting the prime of the best QB we have had and our best chance to get a ring since the 90s. It is fascinating to me the amount of people that still defend McD when it has been nearly a decade of him as coach and his defense has only gotten worse despite having the luxury of an all world QB. Beane doesn't escape criticism either but you can't fire a GM mid season.
  23. Thank you for supporting the same crap that has resulted in no rings, no 1 seed, and helping to waste Josh entire career. McD lifetime coach forever!
  24. Josh has maybe 3-4 average to bad games a year. He also is the reason they win 4-5 games that otherwise they wouldn't. I am not giving him a pass as much as if he had some actual freaking help he they would have already got the 1 seed by now in a prior season. It is the first game this year I think Brady and the offense in general was behind the opponents defense in terms of gameplan and how the game went and never really dictated things. Part of that was because the moment the Bills took the lead which finally gave the offense the ability to maybe dictate something when they got the ball back the defense then allowed NE a TD and the Bills were back to chasing.
  25. That is a different discussion I am open to, but that is after the season. McD now would be a start.
