Man, Patriots fans online still trotting out the tired old "they won their Super Bowl." Sorry - a blowout win over a fringe WC team that you've owned for 2 years now does not qualify as a "Super Bowl." The Bills Super Bowl is still out in front of them, and something they're still playing for THIS season. Your Super Bowls are all on DVD's, which you can enjoy now that you have more time on your hands.

It seems to have settled in already - "the Perfect Game" is all over the internet.

It's great to have a team that can just go out there & say, "we're going to win this," and then just execute. For so many years, we needed to get the breaks, or have something lucky happen to get the W in a bigger game. We're the other team now.

Breathe the free air, Bills fans. I've brought it up a few times, but this was on the level of Red Sox/Yankees, 2004. A team that has looked up from the dungeon at the royalty popping one champagne cork after another for decades, finally flipping the script. I feel like I should send a thank you note to the Chargers or something. Last week, I didn't want to play the Pats again. It wasn't the game I wanted...but it was the game I needed.

The handshake looked weird - it looked like McD wanted to talk longer, but Belichick was basically running away after a quick "good game" kind of exchange. For the 1st time, I felt like the game is passing BB by. He had no answer or adjustment last night. Same thing happened w/ Shula in the '90's.

I swear, I feel like Flounder in "Animal House." Isn't this GREAT?!!!

Just a quick perusal of the other boards, and I saw a good dozen versions of "we owned them for 20 years!" Good for you. Really - big ups.

I swear - this is a NEW feeling. One playoff game = 20 years of regular season games. Meet the new boss, clam people....

Gotta admit - I like that one.

Maybe I'm overplaying it, but this September is going to feel a LOT different for me. It will feel kind of new. Like we can start a basic division rivalry with the Pats again, without some weird psychological thing going on. Or, in short, it's over. The demons? They're buried. Way down. Thank you, Josh Allen. Thank you McD & Daboll. Thank you Beane. Thank you Bills.

The Sleeve Game.

It was worth the wait.

This is the game Bills fans needed.

They were never going to tie us at 33 anyway.

Rest easy that Daboll, Allen & McD - and no one else on the team - thinks like we do. They're going to keep their foot on the gas.

We have a better team than most of us think. We're really, really good. Josh Allen is so damned good.

I wish they wouldn't make a big deal out of that whistle. The WR was wide open, and it was a great play by Burrow. The injustice would have been calling it back. There has to be some judgment there. If the defender was right on him, sure.

Is this "the sleeve game"?

I think we'll see more 4 receiver sets than we've seen all season. The Patriots can't cover all of our guys.
