I think this team needs another Stefon Diggs attitude. He’s the only one that’s willing to get in peoples faces and plays with emotion. Miller is a good positive leader and you need that too. But I think what we saw yesterday, we need another one to get light fire under our asses. I respected Brady for blistering his line but Aikman, Elway, Manning did it too….we got punched in the face and covered up. Didn’t throw punches back.

I think this team was mentally defeated when the Bengals went down the field and scored on the first drive without getting to 3rd down. Allen said that energy comes from execution. We follow up with a 3 and out on offense. Mentally the game was over by Cincy’s 2nd drive. We weren’t going to fight our way back. Only way we had a chance was someone doing something spectacular. No one did anything and why we were completely dominated.

Edmunds is going to get top 3 money at MLB this offseason. We don't need to tie up money for that IMO. I don't know who the guy will be but we can't pay Edmunds that much.

Edmunds supposedly makes throwing over the middle tougher....I'm not seeing it game days. We seem to be easy to throw on in the middle. He played well this year but it wasn't enough to warrant his contract. I'm okay doing a 2021 draft where our first two picks are OL or WR. We had the same production on offense as the Bengals this year and they have 3 great to good WR. They can still score and move the ball even with an OLINE in shambles. Burrow can get the ball out quickly because he's got an open man somewhere....negating his bad offensive line. They went to the Super Bowl last year with a terrible OL. If you have the WR to trust where you can throw it up and they'll make the catch....you're good. We were still in the game when Davis dropped that 35 or so yarder. Boyd, Higgins or Chase make that catch all the time. Davis comes up short....51% catch percentage.

And we were just behind them in NFL scoring.

I'm to the point of allowing Edmunds, Poyer and Oliver walk and putting the resources on offense. If this is the performance we get with them on the field, no sense of paying that much for it.

Smith was the same QB with both coaches. The Eagles were favorites because they were supposed to win the game. They didn’t. You can make every excuse why it took him 20 years but it doesn’t change the fact it took 20 years. He wasn’t a good post season coach until he got Mahomes. He is currently 1-5 against the Bills and Bengals in the last 6 meetings. He was a below .500 coach in the playoffs before Mahomes.

Alex Smith was turning his career around before Reid. The 49ers won the division two years in a row with the and lost the NFC Championship game against on a muffed punt. They went 13-3 that year. He was 6-2 the following season before getting hurt and then Kapernick came. Smith then signed a 4 year extension one year after being traded to KC. Reid wasn’t some miracle worker with Smith. Mike Vick busted one year after signing that extension with the Eagles and went 8-8 and 4-12 in the following season under Reid. Does Reid not deserve criticism for that contract? After signing a $100,000,000 contract, Nick Foles was the starter 2 years later. The Eagles were favorites against the Bucs and Panthers in the NFC Championship game and lost.

So you must think McDermott is an amazing coach because we went 13-3 with only 2 impact players during the season because one of them went on IR. Could Andy Reid go 13-3 with only 2 impact players?

It’s definitely a failure on McDermott that he can’t stop Kelce 100% of the time like other teams do. Its so simple.
