  1. @Einstein What are your thoughts on this? Andy Reid gave Taylor $80 million to play Left Tackle and he was PFF lowest rated tackle? Did Reid forget to renew his PFF subscription? He actually graded lower than Rodger Saffold. https://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/article273093095.html#:~:text=Taylor's 39.7 PFF grade in,deal with the Washington Commanders. Taylor's 39.7 PFF grade in that aspect was lowest among all tackles who played 80% of their team's snaps in 2022. The Chiefs acquired Taylor on a day they lost their other starting tackle, as Andrew Wylie agreed to a three-year deal with the Washington Commanders.
  2. This debate was won by you? It's slander when I say you can't keep up with the conversation after it was told to you multiple times the difference between data/analytics and player grades? I defamed your character with that statement?? You're not that sensitive are you?
  3. Okay lol. He's your double standard again. When I bring up Eric Wood, TJ Lang and what the Kelce's say about PFF....it's just their opinion and it doesn't make them right. Correct? How does this not apply to the PFF Analysts then? Why is it "it's just their opinion and it doesn't make them right?".
  4. If that's the case, why are you criticizing me for criticizing PFF? Or are you that guy that's allowed to criticize and others aren't? Your ability to keep up with a conversation is just poor. I said the data and analytics are good information, player grades are not. But you're now telling me again I'm saying it's all total garbage. https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Pro-Football-Focus I bet these guys who make minimal pay are experts.
  5. This has been explained to him multiple times but he doesn't get it. His stance is "PFF knows more than you so can't criticize". I guess I can't criticize the plumber who didn't connect my drain pipe upstairs and lead to a leak because he knows more about plumbing than I do.
  6. It's based on a guy watching a broadcast view or film and then determining if the player did what he thinks he was supposed to do. If PFF=Bills then there would be no reason why any team would hire a scouting staff. They would just subscribe to PFF. Hmmmmmm..........funny to me that you often criticize Beane and McDermott who know significantly more football than you.
  7. Do not correct me in front of the children or they will never respect me.
  8. Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde weren’t every down starters until they got to Buffalo. Milano is a 4th round pick. Josh Norman signed with Washington and fell off a cliff.
  9. I beg to differ.
  10. Chevy Chase hasn't made a good movie since Dirty Work.
  11. Are you Carlos Mencia and just recycle the same material?
  12. I specifically stated PFF is good for data and analytics but the player grading is for the fans. Everything you stated from Kelly to Shanahan to Reich is about that and not player grading. If a coaches grade is different from PFF grades...who is right? Are you legitimately telling me PFF knows more about the responsibility of the player than the positional coach? I'm letting you know, I'm sure the Bills watch their own film and Beane's Big Board is from his evaluations and not PFF's lol. LOL at me not liking PFF because they say unflattering things. PFF has been very favorable of the Bills with my favorite players like Allen, Diggs, Milano and several others. I don't like it because of the reasons already I put down and it's incredibly inconsistent grading system. Stuff like this. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/09/12/twitter-reaction-patrick-mahomes-disrespectful-pff-grade-week-1/ Mahomes completed 30-of-39 pass attempts for 360 yards and five touchdowns. He accrued a 144.2 passer rating (158.3 is a “perfect passer rating”), the highest of any quarterback in Week 1 by far, and yet, somehow, PFF slotted him behind seven others. And this. This is absolute garbage below. https://www.pff.com/news/why-aaron-rodgers-earned-a-slightly-negative-grade And on top of that, you absolutely do not trust the Bills FO. You constantly criticize them all the time so if Bills = PFF....why don't you constantly criticize PFF then?
  13. How did the Chargers not make the playoffs in 2010 with the #1 offense and #1 defense and with an All Pro Kicker (Nate Kaeding) then? https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2021/10/24/new-york-jets-robert-saleh-justin-hardee-special-teams-gunners/ “That is a check your manhood, it’s a mindset, it is an absolute dogfight when you’re a gunner and you have to beat a one-on-one or a double team,” Saleh said Friday. “It’s a war on the edges and those guys are responsible for field position, flipping fields. They can win a lot of games without it ever coming to attention. “Hardee is probably one of the best in football at that position. On top of it, his leadership skills, his deliberateness, his veteran presence, he’s everything that you would want out of a football player from a character standpoint. As a gunner, which is a very underrated position, and one of my favorites because it represents manhood, he’s pretty darn good at it.” You don't believe in context and just box score scout. Teams can save millions by just throwing some low level draft pick to be gunners and replace them every year with new rookies. Why don't teams do that? Why are teams continually throwing money at this position if it's completely meaningless?
  14. How many legitimate starting options are there? Maybe the Bucs? Texans?
  15. It sounds like McGovern is going to be the RG which would move Bates back to LG. Is Bates better as a LG? So the interior of our line might approve with just one addition. LG won't be terrible and if McGovern is a better RG than Bates....potential solid group. I actually hope Brown isn't our starting RT. I think he just moves too slow for speed rushers and will get beat consistently.
  16. Actions speak louder and the Giants gave him a 1 year/$875,000 contract extension. That's not a contract you offer someone you believe is going to be an integral part of your offense.
  17. Special Teams doesn't absolutely doesn't matter? The 2010 Chargers had the leagues #1 offense and #1 defense but the 32nd ranked ST. I'm going to let you take a guess on what was the reason they didn't make the playoffs.... It's not about just the average, it's the context. Late in a game where it's within a 3 point game, that's where special teams can matter a lot.
  18. I think PFF is good for data and analytics. Player evaluation is entertainment for fans. But some fans with this informational portal now think they are as talented as scouts. Just like people think they are Scientists now because they read a science blog.
  19. Would you feel better if we brought in competition for Bates or Brown?
  20. Do you honestly think the Bills pay PFF for player grades? Why pay a front office millions to evaluate talent when you can get a PFF subscription for $12.99 a month? Why watch so much film on a player when you can just click on a player profile and read about it on PFF? Eric Wood was on WGR and talked about how he's skeptical about PFF for basically the same reason as Lang described. Wood said he was pulling and didn't get to his block quick enough and was graded negatively. He didn't get to his block because the guard got pushed into the backfield and he had to reroute last second. He actually should have been graded positively because he didn't get caught up and was still able to get at least a little body the guy. But PFF said he was late and didn't clear out the blocker like he was supposed to. He mentioned the OL coaches grades and the PFF grades would always be drastically different. https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/tj-lang-pro-football-focus-is-absolute-garbage/ "But they don't know anything about identification, what offensive linemen are supposed to do. They think if a guy blitzes off the edge, that's automatically the tackle's block, but a lot of times that's not the case. They've always graded me well, which I don't mind, but I still don't respect it," Lang said. Apparently, most NFL players feel the same way. "I know most of the guys that I've played with absolutely hate it, just because it's started to gain so much steam now where Sunday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, they're actually showing stats up there for the players," said Lang. "I think it's absolute garbage and I think most players do."
  21. "Baseless assumption?" You don't know the play or the check offs or the audibles. They do not know the entire responsibility of the player. Neither does the PFF grader which is what Kelce is saying. So now its with you: PFF > Bills PFF > Kelce's Where's your supporting evidence? A PFF link where you don't have a subscription to isn't evidence lol.
  22. I just read the two stupidest sentences in the history of the internet (bolded). There is a ton of applicants too.... https://nypost.com/2022/09/24/travis-kelces-stunning-accusation-about-pro-football-focus-grades/ “The thing is that these PFF graders are grading off of what they think the play should be,” Travis Kelce said. “Whereas we might have a specific fundamental or we might have a specific call that takes us into something else and the play doesn’t work. … The graders don’t necessarily know the objective of the play and the fundamentals that we’re being taught.”
