The one thing I have a grip about with Dorsey is Allen is very successful under center and play action. We only ran that 14% of the time according to Joe Marino. Why not run something more when it's incredibly successful?

Why didn't you answer the question? Where did you learn to break down film in the trenches? I didn't say experts. You don't need to be an expert to understand at the basic X's and O's level. If you played offensive line at HS level, you understand how to break down film as an offensive lineman. Some people do it as a hobby because they study it. This isn't some sort of rare ability. I played WR so I've never had to break down film inside the trenches. So since I don't know, I don't pretend I know. So I rely on guys I trust know what they're looking at. Videos are posted in this thread and posters who understand the game are commenting on it. That's where you and I differ. You hold onto a thought and that's it. You don't learn anything being so stubborn. So yes

Yes he's coachable. Just because he falls back into bad habits doesn't mean everything about him is uncoachable. He is a significantly better QB that he was his rookie year.

I focused on Oliver all night. At the snap, I wanted to see what he was doing. I guess it's because I was a little hard on him in the prior years, he signed his big extension and I guess I want to see if he's going to earn it. I did like what I saw from Oliver MNF. I really can see us being dominant when Von gets back, Rosseau can slide inside on passing downs and Floyd is the other edge guy.

I was focusing on the point that Shanahan wanted that and why he invested so highly in Lance. After he got Lance, he saw he was terrible and got rid of him,. Shanahan would salivate over Allen IMO.

He's on WGR now. Said that Ken Dorsey gave him a good game plan with plenty of underneath throws for Allen to take.

His average stop was 1 yard.

I do feel that he's totally embarrassed. This MNF is the highest rated one ever I believe. He doesn't appear to be a guy to turtle up, he probably is to work his ass off this week. Dorsey needs to take a gigantic step back in the playbook and just make easy reads for Allen....like he's a rookie again. Slowly bring him back. But the biggest thing is he needs to relax his mind. You can step up your watching film, throwing, studying etc....all you want but if you're holding onto the negative and unsure mindset, nothing will change. I expect a better game this week...I'm going to start with that.
