I was watching the Dolphins game last night and a commercial came on that I thought said the Bills Jags game is exlusively on NFL plus....I thought it was on NFL network, do we need NFL plus to watch?

The Bills biggest problem on offense remains unchanged
Matt_In_NH replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude he wasn’t even the starter theee years ago to start the season. He has had struggles but if that is the biggest problem it shows how good this roster is. Show me a team without a hole. spencer has exceptional athletic ability and I think he has improved some but his torso is so long he gets off his center easily. Maybe he is not the long term answer but the RT being an issue is something that can be worked around. You can’t have all pros everywhere and you have to rely on your ability to develop talent. I will also point out josh holds the ball longer than most qbs and moves around a lot even when he does not need to. He is difficult to block for -
I am sure it has happened but I have yet to see a fair catch everyone said would kill kickoffs. Is this rate less than last year?

Visiting Teams having Lots of Fans in the Stands

With the 17th game, everyone gets a neutral site game in Vegas.....I say they could still do it. Take Metlife, they flipped that in 24 hours from Sunday night to Monday night. -
When Coordinators get hired to be a Head Coach
Matt_In_NH replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its called delegation. Probably because its a new job, its a promotion and requires a lot of new focus in different areas. Clearly, calling plays is something a HC can do, as several do that but you cannot have the same amount of focus as the HC to only offense or only defense as you do when you are a coordinator. There are not enough hours in the day. -
Stats, PFF grades, Thoughts on Offense, and Miami coming up
Matt_In_NH replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
historically, teams that tried to build speed offenses failed but mostly because speed alone is not enough. What Miami has is great players who are all exceptionally fast. The motion, no look shuffle passes, general design of the offense is outstanding. This is a real challenge for sure. Maybe...the Patriots are very good on defense....they have played the Eagles and Dolphins which are two of the best offenses out there so the stats may not totally show it. -

This has been my observation also, many other seem to have a different opinion. Still low sample size though... -
Every player is unique and finds ways to be successful in different ways. I have heard Josh described as a "sometimes see it throw it quarterback" and I think that is accurate. He does not throw with anticipation as much as other quarterbacks do. He holds the ball, creates time, finds a guy open standing in a hole and hits him. For whatever reason this team cannot succeed on short passes/screen passes where you let playmakers get in space and have them do their thing. I do think there is opportunity for Josh to take his game to the next level by succeeding with those type of passes more often. I cannot say it is his fault or the plays or how defenses play the Bills. I know if anyone says Josh can improve on something it does not go over well here, he is only perfect and any time the play does not work its because the receiver dropped the ball or the play call was bad. I see an potentially even higher ceiling for Josh than he has achieved.

Dan Orlovsky on the Bills Offense Yesterday
Matt_In_NH replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Orlovsky and I am good with more Josh under center.....however, some of the stuff he spewed about it calming him down and how great it is for everything the Bills do is a little far fetched. -
They did not run out of time yesterday they ran out of downs.

Over-reaction Three Weeks In.... Offense seems disjointed
Matt_In_NH replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would not say over reaction. I would say wrong reaction. -
McD much better D coordinator than Frazier
Matt_In_NH replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier was outstanding against weak teams in the regular season.....let's get more samples before we decide.....at least that is where my head is at. Next week in particular is an important sample -

How many points will the Fish score this week?
Matt_In_NH replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I want to go and watch that game.....crazy they scored 10 offensive TD's with minimal turnovers. I saw some interesting no look screens from Tua....the BIlls will have to have a plan for that. I think both teams will score a lot....over under at like 53, I would take the over. These are two of the best teams in the league. -
