  1. no way. No one is paying 5 mill per. 500k even would be too high for me. If not reasonable at some price point I just say F it. I am fighting all of them to the end and don't care. My career may be ruined anyway. Only Watson knows what his true exposure is so he must decide.
  2. If I am Watson. I am talking to all of them and offering a settlement. As long as all of them agree to the same fair amounts and the one who brought forward the criminal complaint to Houston PD agrees to back off that direction and join the group. This is best way out. Best i can see. So a couple get paid who he was innocent with, that's the cost of his dumbassness.
  3. you don't grow more suspicious of a VIP with 100's of accusers?? vs a VIP with 1?
  4. Bills must have been very convincing in the negotiations. We all know he would have lit up the CFL. 😎
  5. ty Tuco and Rochesterfan.....yes this clears it up for me. Sal always left out detail. Sorry i made you two type all that but dam i could not find that on line anywhere.
  6. Why do you not understand the bolded point? That is not how program has ever been described. Unless you are saying like any player you can walk away from football at any time. Or you are going with a player telling a team they do not want to go on the Int pathway exempt list and team does the honorable thing granting him his release via waivers. Which I think most teams would do for this situation. Bill Belicheck evil emperor maybe being the exception. ?? https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/4/1/22360642/buffalo-bills-running-back-christian-wade-granted-third-exemption-year-international-pathway-program "WGR 550 Bills reporter Sal Capaccio tweeted the news last week, noting that Wade is now essentially “in the exact situation he’s been the last two years.” If Wade does not make Buffalo’s regular-season roster, the Bills can designate him as a protected player on their practice squad, which would have two implications: the team would be unable to call him up to the active roster for the duration of the 2021 season and other teams would be unable to claim Wade for their regular-season rosters."
  7. can't compare this covid restrictive era to normal years.
  8. temp problem. Don't worry humans can figure out the logistics. More park and rides.
  9. they looked into that a couple times and determined the engineering was not tenable. Highmark is a old open air style that is very laid back. Roof spans would be too long.
  10. the MLB quest was dropped by the prospective owners when they seen the crazy(at that time) franchise fee to join. They backed out and went minor league only. Pilot field was built with plans and engineering built into it to add a second deck and be completely MLB ready in all aspects.
  11. you math guys do realize they can use a stat called averaging? Right?🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ OJ still has the rushing yards avg per game record even after his season total rush yards record was broken.
  12. hence the time element. At time of trade the 1 is like a two. On draft day the next year it absolutely looks like a 1, but they waited a year to feel that way. Time element in this context is hard to grasp for all including me. But it is real. I guess?? 😁 I flip back and forth on it.
  13. this is bad news for Wade. Now he may be ineligible all year again. How many years does a team need to see of a player before they know it is over. At Wades age two may have been limit. In Wades eyes maybe he wants team to make a decision or he moves on. Now team may try to stash him again in the Int' program. Maybe team wants to bring in other now and stop teasing Wade. Might be time for him to return to rubgy. Even though he says he is retired for good from that sport.
  14. that's dumb. His agent is not informing him properly. A restructure is in his best interest. He gets non-guaranteed money moved up and gets it right now. So it is not risked to be lost if cut later in contract. Helps the competition as Chiefs now have less cap space. lol.
  15. what? My point is fans "should" worry about contracts. Every time you over pay market rate for any player you have less money to spend to make team better. Due to salary cap. Not sure what point you are making.
  16. what!! LOL. Improving team and contracts go hand in hand. If Bills spent all their remaining cap on Mitch then this was a terrible signing as they then can't improve the team in positions that matter much more than B/U QB. If he takes vet min then it is a great signing.
  17. maybe NFL teams have finally decided to follow the historical track record of Bill Belichecks coaching tree. It very seldom produces good HC material. Unless you want you count Kirk Ferentz coaching resume at Iowa, even many going to college jobs suck.
  18. probably wont happen with Bills. If they just keep at contract he is cap number of 9.5 million. If they cut him they incur dead cap of 1.6 million. Let's say Bills offer restructure at 6.5 mill a year and cap hit of less. Then if he refuses that restructure to test market and Bills cut him they incur 1.6 mill dead cap with no way of reducing that dead cap. So lets say he test market and no one offers over 5.5 mill per year. Bill's wont take him back at 6.5 mill as he is on books then for 8.1 mill. Bills likely only would go about 4 now. If he takes restructure he is better off unless he and agent are sure higher offers await in FA.
  19. he maybe would not have played volleyball(causing pic6) with that slow thrown short wide open pass from Peterman vs Chargers that sent Peterman down that rabbit hole he never escaped from. Like the FB Patrick DiMarco Bills then signed and supposedly was the best in league.
  20. could restructure Brown instead for about same cap hit.
  21. I believe win rate is looking at each lineman win rate vs first guy blocking him. So if Hughes beats his guy and then is blocked by a running back he won that plays win rate.
  22. this deal must have been really really close..........lol🤣🤣🤣
  23. maybe Ravens vs Chiefs?? You know, the AFC Championship game everyone wanted badly but Taron Johnson said "Int is mine!!" lol
  24. i would guarantee more to give him incentive to accept a lesser yearly avg and less cap hit. And then probably with expectation he will be a center if Morse is gone. Although it would only cost about 1 mill to keep Morse with a restructure vs cut and dead cap.
