Both wounded players were in stable condition, and the teammate suspected of stabbing them was in custody, the statement said. The university did not release the names of the players involved. The stabbing occurred on campus at the Football Operations Building. The team elected to play the afternoon game at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, where 29 players were being honored on Senior Day. “UAB’s top priority remains the safety and well-being of all of our students,” the statement said.

There is no such thing as a sure win no matter which team is playing... this goes for any team. How many people got bounced out of their survivor league last year... right off the bat.

I had lenses put in both eyes and the right one has become a bit cloudy. Had my appointment this morning and have the 2 minute laser "cleanup" scheduled early next month 1 week apart. He said that 80-90% of people who have had lenses inserted will need this procedure... which, like you said, only takes a few minutes. Also said that I will never need it again... it is scarring from the initial implants that most encounter.

Its a real shame that they made all of this like it's some sort of a game... nothing seems to be straightforward with anything anymore. Can't imagine an older person with no computer prowess at all navigating the labyrinth of Medicare...
