Full Intelligent Breakdown of DK Metcalf

Completely agree. Offence is more important than defence when determining the outcome of a game, especially in the regular season. Defence still matters for championships, but the defence is already good enough. Build the offence. -
Bills official Top 30 pre-draft visits

Metcalf if a legitimate candidate, even though people don’t want to believe it. You should be safe, it looks like they’re focusing on mid round TEs. -

Definitely not buying any of this information right now. Obviously they brought Oliver in for a visit so there is interest there. -

A lot of biased takes in here to fit your narrative. -
Can there be a no trade up option?

Beane does not seem to be scared of the boom bust guys.

I think Metcalf deserves to be in the conversation. He would fit our offence perfectly.

I can’t believe I missed out on this. It was so fun last year. Still interested to see how it turns out. I think I will be banging the table for Metcalf when the Bills are on the clock.

I didn’t watch if to the end but it looked like Mosely and Williams were starting. Spain looked legit though. -

Thats how I am viewing it as well. Get me a developmental OT in the mid rounds and this line is set for the next two years. -
Most of the predraft visits have been DL, OT, and WR. And they are bringing in guys that are going to be drafted in the first three rounds. Things will definitely change on draft day but you can tell that is where they believe the position value will be early. I like Foster and I think he will be the starter, unless they draft Metcalf.

Bills likely will still draft OL based on pre-draft work

Thats a first round guy, they are not done improving OT. -

Looks like Kaleb McGary is one of the favorites for our second or third round pick. -
Giants looking at defense at #6 in draft?
billspro replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gettleman is running the Giants into the ground. Luckily for them they will be contenders for Lawrence in 2021 after Gettleman is fired. -
I would be surprised if Oliver wasn’t drafted before us but it is definitely possible for the draft to play out that way. The Lions taking Sweat over Oliver seems like a bit of a stretch to me. If I had to guess I think the Bills are hoping for Oliver, Metcalf, or Taylor (in that order). Hockenson probably doesn’t have the elite athleticism of a top ten pick, but he checks every other box.

I think most people did, Allen had a ton to work on last year. I think I had a late second round grade on him last year as well. That is not to say he is a bad player, I think most people thought he had the highest upside of any QB in the class. The one thing that really stood out to me on film was his competitiveness (especially in the games against SD ST, Boise St, and BYU). I wasn’t betting against a guy with that competiteness even though I only gave him a second round grade. It was just hard to grade him higher with the limited production, but it was also hard to grade him because his oline and WRs were terrible. Luckily, I do believe we have a coaching staff that develops players, so we can take chances on guys like Allen.

Ed Oliver would be nice. I would be surprised if he was there at nine. It would be great if he was though. -

Calvin Johnson, Hopkins, and Randy Moss don’t have great change of direction skills either. If he can run an elite go, slant, and hook he will be one of the top WRs in the NFL. If you actually look at Metcalfs game stats they are pretty good. He eclipsed 90 4 times in the 6 games he played last year. Bottom line, Metcalf is a rare WR prospect. He belongs in the AJ Green, Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson conversation. When I watch him play I see some similarities to Randy Moss, not going to back off that comp. There is a good chance the Bills draft him so prepare to be disappointed on draft day.
