  1. Nice. Pretty much tells me what I already thought. That he will definitely have to pick his game up if he is going to make the 53 and I will be keeping an eye out at the WR position battle for it should shape up to be a good one. If the others Sills, Williams, etc do well on ST, then IMO that will make it even harder for Zay. In any event it will work itself out and I'm very interested to see how it unfolds. Hope all these guys do well and make it tough for coach to decide which decision to make.
  2. I absolutely hope not. Guy is 38 about to be 39. A few QB's last that long but I would definitely steer clear of a TE at that age. See what the younger TE's have and if for some reason they don't pan out, you can most likely find a way to get another TE that's not ancient (in football years that is). Waste of a roster spot IMO. Think they will probably stick with what they have for now unless they make some kind of trade, or after some players start to get cut for the DE position.
  3. Not worth the risk IMO with his shoulder still banged up and it's been reported he will most likely miss at least the 1st month of the season. So I think they maybe found out more about the injury and decided to take a pass.
  4. Lot of hard-on talk going on here. Oh my
  5. If he doesn't make the starting line-up, then he be a good for depth at RT or LT. Either way, as another poster stated, we will see how it plays out soon enough.
  6. Doubt it was about $$. My educated guess is they maybe found out more about his bum shoulder and decided to pass. Which I agree with
  7. Good. I personally hope he stays in Foxboro. Much rather see what these young guys have than sign him IMO
  8. Exactly. His guess is as good as any of ours. It's like paying to see someone's mock draft.
  9. Lol, I doubt that. Even though I for one love the down hill RB's, I don't see Gore starting over McCoy.
  10. Agreed, and also if the others are good on ST (which I know this has been covered as well) that IMO will make it even tougher. We will see how it all unfolds of course, but I too think Zay will have a tough time
  11. Oh sorry. Thought it was in reference to this one. It's allgood
  12. Here is that breakdown that you requested from the other poster. Breakdown is done by @Alphadawg7 Originally on page 32, 11th post down. I get why you would say this, but the 7 TD's statement lacks context. And when you like at the truth behind the number, its really not as good as saying 7 TDs. 4 of them came in two games against a bad Miami team, including week 17 when the Fins didnt even bother to show up. Another came in the final minute of a blow out loss down 3 scores. Pats left him uncovered for a basically free 31 yard meaningless TD when game was over. He was dominated the rest of the game by the Pats secondary. So is it really isn't as impressive to say "7 TD's" if you know the back story to them. Especially when he was so irrelevant in just about every other game, failed to make plays that contributed to some of our losses, and was so significantly outmatched in several games against better opposition. The one positive thing I will say for Zay, is that with better WRs here now, he likely will draw easier coverage. So maybe thats what helps him stick or be more relevant. But he showed very poorly against quality corners in both his first 2 years to go along with unreliable hands and average at best route running Page 32. 11th post down
  13. Waiting to see who will be the 1st one to try and compare him to Nick O'Leary......
  14. That's great. Nice to see this. The organization has shown a lot of class with this whole situation. Awesome of Ed to do that.
  15. Maybe his hands will be stronger too.
  16. Should put him on the wall, right beside Marshawn Lynch. ?
  17. This time they actually have a legit/pretty good KR/PR. That's my guess.
