I think this thread has a shot at having more talk of food and alcohol more than Watt lol

He had a very impressive rookie year. You could tell though the difference towards last and into the playoffs that his injury played a pretty good impact on him. Just didn't look quite right and his play took a dip. But he is tough and did what he could to try and play through it. I have a feeling next season he will be a dangerous WR, especially long as he can stay healthy. Excited to see him again.

Yup, I doubt we see much happening with signings until all that gets ironed out.

Lol, I was a Baker guy at that time, but obviously knew he wouldn't last when Bills picked. Very happy how it turned out though.

lol, you and some others. Think it was a no brainer at the time. I mean to at least attempt to get him. Obviously we needed more help with passing game. However I didn't think Bills would get him though. Thought he would have went with another team. Very glad to see Bills as a very desirable team to play for now.

Yeah I think so too, but not by much. They have the slight edge in WR when OBJ is on the field. Think their TE's are a little better also. And their D is maybe to close to call, or maybe a little better, not by much. Agree Allen is the difference.

Maybe Jets could get that. imo I don't think so. Maybe a 3rd, but I don't think he's showed enough to warrant a 2nd round pick, especially not a 1st. Even though a team like Steelers would have a good chance at helping him improve. Still don't think a team goes no more than a 3rd for him. Just hasn't done much imo.

I think they are pretty damn close though. But yeah, I don't think they are the "one big time player" away. I think they will need more, especially on the Defensive side.

I played in high school. The last 3 years and I was damn good too. Could have easily went to the college level, but was too busy chasing booty, drinking, drugs and getting in trouble. Definitely did not have my head on straight at that time. I played on offense and defense. Was LB on D and I guess you could call it TE on O. Wasn't the fastest but could catch everything thrown to me. I honestly don't remember ever dropping a pass.

Not speaking for the poster you quoted, but I think most ppl know Watson is a good QB. I believe he was saying he's not as great/good without Hopkins and that he's not as good as Allen. But I mean most QB's will struggle when they lose a WR like that anyway. Unless you're Brady. Lol many seasons he made nobody's look good. I also think Allen is better than Watson, although this was his 1st really good season. I just think Allen will get even better, which will be even more scary than he already is for the rest of the teams they face.

I agree with you to some extent. I think Baker really took a big step in the right direction as well as Allen. I think one could tell he "looked the part" this past season compared to last and whenever they were saying he's just another Johnny, He looked and acted like a leader from what I could tell. Anyway, both Bills and Browns fan bases should be very excited. Nice to see both these franchises turn the corner. Was this meant for this past season? Or one before?

Obviously he didn't play much due to injury. But I thought he was pretty decent when he was on the field. Hoped to see more of him, but maybe he will get through next season without too much injury and play a lot more. Don't know if he can fill Malino's shoes, but he did show a little promise and made some plays, So will be interesting to see.

Not sure about several, but he for sure did in the game knocking the ball loose. I think he definitely struggled more than he made plays. Also he's lost a step or 2, but least he knows the D very well.

Not taking up for Mayfield by any means, just want to say I think he looked a lot more mature and more like a leader this past season than in 2018-2019. I remember some Browns fans or maybe the media in that area were saying he's Johnny 2.0 lol. Anyways he is still a wild card imo but he did look more like the QB and leader the Browns needed him to be this past season.

Possibility the injury may have impacted his play maybe a little more than we think/know also.

Yeah they started off a little rocky, but that was likely do to some new guys learning to play with each other and BA learning to work with Brady. You could tell the difference later in the season when they started "gelling" together I guess you could say.

He's awesome. Very reliable WR and being a slot WR makes it more impressive. I think he is one of the best slot guys in the NFL. He was good in Dallas but really showed how good he actually is when he came to Buffalo.
