Tyreek Hill impressed by Justin Zimmer
Patrick Duffy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's pretty impressive. I honestly didn't know that about his combine stats. Probably due to media mostly talking up the bigger name prospects and whatnot. You would think he would have gotten drafted a little higher. Similar to the way Kyle Williams was used those couple of times. Would reduce the amount of times Allen QB sneaks some. -
I usually reuse mine at the least 2 times. Sometimes 3, due to the fact that I don't fry any other foods but that. If I were to fry a different food I would change before cooking. Peanut oil is expensive.

Is The Answer @ DE Already On The Team?
Patrick Duffy replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe get lucky and find that Aaron Maybin type juggernaut impact player...... -
Yup, they most definitely should have. I read somewhere (can't recall the exact article and whatnot) but said the ref stated something along the lines of " don't let that happen again", something to that extent. Would post it if I could remember and find it but anyway. But the official saw it and went to the KC sideline and made those statements. Ummm obviously it's not about the physicality of the game itself, it's about the personal foul/unsportsmanlike conduct punching players etc. Huge difference and really shouldn't have to be explained.

I’m warming up to the JJ Watt idea

Yup I agree. I would think any team he goes to (if he goes), he likely would have to take a pay cut. Considering it's late in his career and injuries a concern -
Stefon Diggs on Radio Row 2/4
Patrick Duffy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup, most definitely. And I feel confident they will. Just something else they will learn from. -
I would too. If could choose between the two and probably would only be a 1 or 2 year type of thing. Think I'd rather have Watt also. Get what he's got left in the tank for a year or two.

Stefon Diggs on Radio Row 2/4

Oh yeah most definitely. I think that may be one of the things at the top of the list to do. -
Stefon Diggs on Radio Row 2/4

Yeah they will, however the officials were letting a whole lot of holding/etc go in that game, in the playoffs in general for that matter, but was pretty bad in that game. I'm pretty sure they won't let that go, at least no where near that much during the regular season as oppose to playoffs. -
Exactly. I was livid when that happened. I bet that if he returned a punch in the same exact manner, Bills would have been flagged. The saying is, the 2nd player always gets caught. Issue in this particular incident is the officials saw Jones throw the 1st punch and did nothing. I recall reading somewhere the ref went to Chiefs side line and just said something along the lines of, " calm it down, or don't let it happen again", Something to that extent.

Stefon Diggs on Radio Row 2/4

These guys are going to continue to do great things together. Very well could break more records. Looking forward to watching them as well as the other WR's do amazing things. I feel that Diggs/Allen will be even better next season. I mean they got in rhythm very quickly this 1st season together and that's without the normal off season. I can only assume it will be much better next season. -
I'm not saying he didn't struggle. He obviously did. Just pointing out he wasn't the sole reason.
-
Disagree. while he didn't have a great year, run blocking was an issue. Also I recall many times he made defenders miss, which he is good at.
-
I know RB's don't get taken much in the 1st round, but at pick 30, I'm not sure he will be there.

I'd be all for it also. Maybe get the last couple years of what he's got left. I'm not sure how certain things will/can play out, but if they can part ways with Murphy and whatever else Beane decides to do to get $$ it could happen I guess. I understand he's not what he was a couple years ago, but he would still very likely be better than anyone that's on the roster now. Also it seems like he hits a different switch at playoff time. So depending on how expensive he would be, I would be excited about it myself it things were to swing that way. Yup, I would agree. Agree he would probably cost a little too much, however imo I think he still has a good 2 years left. I would be more concerned about his injuries and how many games he would play more than his play being diminished. -
Yeah I thought Singletary brought more also, however not by a lot though. He great at making players miss and I guess you could add Moss being a rookie, he will likely get better. But the OL run blocking wasn't great either. Probably could add play calling to a certain extent/and or scheme also. Wonder if they draft an OL player or maybe get one in F/A. Anyway, just saying although the RB's struggled, it's not all on them. I'm sure you already know this though. But agree they need a more speedy RB with decent hands obviously. That with improved run blocking may get em over the little hump, or close to it.

Reading the tea leaves. (Mostly Oline related)
Patrick Duffy replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah he stated something along the lines of C was his favorite position or he liked it the most. Something of that sort if I remember correctly. He's pretty damn good at C too. I think that game he was C the run game was a lot better also. I mean it was a pretty noticeable difference too
