Help with non-Bills hall of fame argument
Walking Tall replied to jester43's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Faneca a is very deserving. He was a human meat-grinder. On a side note, Faneca now barely weighs over 200 pounds. https://www.tmz.com/2014/02/04/alan-faneca-fat-guy-mentor-ex-teammates/ -

Walking Tall replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills didn't play the Chargers from 1985-1998. I provided the link. Figure it out yoursef. -

Did you know? (Bills-Bolts version)
Walking Tall replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To be fair, the Chargers have only played the Bills 4 times when the Bills had a playoff caliber team. (1980 2x, 1981 and 1998....all in San Diego and the Bills were 2-2 in those games) Did you know Jim Kelly never played against the Chargers? -
That since the Bills beat the Chargers in the AFL title game in 1965, 23-0, The Bills have played the Chargers 25 times and have not beat them by double digits since that game? (4 wins, 19 losses, 1 tie) https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/buffalo-bills/teamvsteam?opp=26 That’s a pretty amazing stat when you think about it.

Could Darnold end up backing up Allen in Buffalo?
Walking Tall replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sam Darnold will not be a Buffalo Bill. He will want to go to a place where he can start. Look for him to be in a place like Chicago, New Orleans or San Francisco. -

I feel we need a sub forum. My favorite kicker was Christie. -
Ok This Dolphins talk is getting out of hand.

Such a good chance Denver pretty much had their way with them all day. A microcosm of the Fish’s last few games minus the results on the scoreboard. -
Flores: Tua benched, not hurt

Only not nearly as good. -
Flores: Tua benched, not hurt

No doubt. There were some really good games and the Broncos winning topped it off but if the Pack can pull it out that’s just icing. -

He can’t throw an NFL out pattern. -
Still haven’t seen Allen’s potential
Walking Tall replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh is pretty darned good at this point. He will become a smarter player as time goes on but I wouldn't look for any extraordinary progression in his play. I think he pretty much is who he is right now. Dan Marino had his best season in his second year in the league. He still had a great career. -
More Old Bills -the 1st 35 years
Walking Tall replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll bring it up here instead if making a new thread. 39 years ago today, the Bills had their own version of "Hail Murray" when Joe Ferguson's prayer was answered by Roland Hooks and the Bills beat the pre-cheating, New England Patriots at Rich Stadium. Back then, I believe the Bills called yhe play "Big Ben", but I could be wrong. On a side note, I was at that game with my Dad. When Hooks hauled that pass in, we were in the parking lot. LOL -

Saints to start Taysom Hill over Jameis Winston

I forgot he's your boy. -
Yep. Halftime adjustments seemed to be a strength of the team in the past. For some reason they come out of the locker room flat and then turn it on in the 4th. However, I don't know if that's something that can be fixed over a bye week?
