Given the 3 year rule. Analyzing the Bills 2020 draft..
Walking Tall replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know if anyone deserves to be criticized over Hodgins. They say the best ability is availability and he didn’t meet that requirement his first two seasons and that led us to draft Shakir. If Hodgins was healthy his first 2 seasons the need for Shakir is probably out the window. -
What Are Your Expectations For The 2023 Season?
Walking Tall replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they fix the offense, I have SB expectations. -
You know what they say about opinions…..everyone that has one needs a thread to state it.

Buscaglia: Both Bills Coordinators are likely to be back in 2023
Walking Tall replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey, that’s fine. But if they suffer the same fate or worse next year, you have to consider letting everyone on the coaching staff go. -
Old Buffalo Bills Message Board

Neubs24 was actually a good mod. I remember he worked at the airport then just fell off the face of the earth. I sat with him at a Bills/Vikings game years ago right behind the Minnesota bench. -
Joe Cool takes Josh to school.

They were having issues beating teams in general before Hamlin went down. After Hamlin, yeah, I believe they lost some passion which is understandable.

Not at all. I did suck at it. I had it for about a month and quit. -
Thoughts? Everyone had the AFC West as the best division ever last off-season. It wasn’t. We’ll see next September.

T&C, you were an awful moderator. Own it. You are a hell of a lot better when you’re just one of us. You actually seem like a pretty decent guy. -
Everyone remembers Allen coming out of the tunnel with a red helmet on. Is that on for 2023? 90’s era uni’s and helmets? Also, I don’t think we wore the throwbacks at all this past season. Are they dead and buried? Something else to talk about I suppose.

Bills Player Rookie Playing Time in 2022 Season
Walking Tall replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane whines about the Bengals having great players on rookie contracts but the Bills basically let their rookies ride the pine for a year of their rookie deals. -
Old Buffalo Bills Message Board

Utterly romped. I remember that poster. -
What about Whitner’s statement of Beane is deflecting accountability is untrue? For cripes sake do you have a reading comprehension issue? If I agree with someone regarding their opinion of the Bills and Beane that means I want them to be GM?
-
How’d that offensive line that Beane has neglected look to you for the past three seasons? How about that defensive line that he has dumped all kinds of money and draft capital into? Because, to be frank, if you say anything other than both looked severely overmatched, you aren’t being honest with yourself.

I was listening to FOX Sports radio about 20 minutes ago. They had Donte Whitner on. The host played a clip from Beane’s press conference. The part where Beane talked about Burrow being on a rookie deal and not wanting to suck bad enough to get a Jamar Chase…blah, blah, blah. The host then asked what he thought of that and Whitner said it sounded to him like a GM that is not willing to be held accountable for his own roster. Whitner then went down the list of some players the 49ers have and how the were acquired. I agree with Whitner. I’m starting to lose faith in Beane running the show.
-
I agree about a rookie for backup. If Allen goes down the Bills most likely aren’t winning anyway. Allen is now a seasoned veteran. He doesn’t need another vet holding his hand. The 49ers struck gold with a late round rookie, though that is most unlikely for any team to wish for.

OK, Sir Galahad.

It would be someone promoted from within that knows the players and continues with what McDermott clearly wants. McDermott is not going to hire a guy that has his own ideas and wants to implement his own defense.

Prime time National and International TV games 2023
Walking Tall replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, we’re the Houston Texans now? The Bills will have at least 5 prime time games. -
I actually believe we need to look for an upgrade to what Poyer can give us.
