  1. Correct. The only subdivision under Felony Assault that is not with intent is to recklessly cause serious physical injury with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. The dangerous instrument, which I suspect they were charged under, is a STRETCH of epic proportions. He was pushed back with a riot stick, which is what they are made for. If this is truly a crime, lets say the old man didn't fall. Would those officers have been charged? Of course not! Would the DA have charged them with attempted Assault 2nd Degree? Of course not! And, lets be honest, I watched that and my stomach turned because it was a 75 year old man. Taking emotions out of it, would we be having this conversation if the man was in his 30's, 40's or even 50's? I think we can all say no. The age of the man is the reasonn we are here, as well as what happened in Minneapolis. Nowhere in the statutes that covers this is age a reason to charge. Only if intent can be shown and I'm pretty damned sure we can all agree gbere was no intent to injure. The man got pushed back, lost his balance, and hit his head. He made the concsious decision to approach those officers and impede them from moving forward. It's not like the officer took his riot stick and clubbed the man over the head with it. I suspect these officers will be indicted and then beat any and all charges at trial.
  2. I can trll you right now that DA overcharged. IF any charge was appropriate it was Assault Third Degree. Again, IF.
  3. That is 100 percent true. Imagine a privatized security/police? Call them and give your credit card information before they respond to take care of your problems. We are heading this way and I say awesome! We should also defund Welfare and social programs that drain our tax dollars. I'm also for defunding any and all tax payer money going to public colleges.
  4. Yep! Imagine the boom in construction in the outlying areas as people flee these cities. The economy may actually sky-rocket!
  5. Haha. You don’t know society very well. Wait until a volunteer policeman shoots an unarmed person. It will happen about 1000 times more than it does now.....and that is probably a very low estimate. Looking forward to it!
  6. Right. Protect yourself. Throw the Criminal law books out the window. Every man for himself. Believe me, I’m ready for this. I’m not sure how long I will last but I’m more than ready for it to begin.
  7. There you go. Volunteer police! Or arm yourself and take care you yourself. And, again, let everyone have their own tax money and decide where there own money goes to. Why do I need to give anything to the homeless? If you want to, you give it.
  8. Believe me, I know what I am speaking of. It’s no straw man argument. Start over as a society. Get rid of publically funded police and let communities or individuals hire their own. You don’t want to pay for the privatized security, don’t. And you also don’t get any of their services. Start right in these cities that are yelling for it. Let it be a social experiment. Maybe it will work out for the best?
  9. I support your message. Defund the Police. Handle crap on your own. Do away with jails, prisons, all that. And also do away with welfare while we are at it. Get rid of all these social programs. If people want security, hire privately or arm yourself. If people want to give to the poor, then give to the poor of your choice. Seriously, let’s start this in the major cities and see how it goes from there.
  10. I am 100 percent behind defunding the police. I think the time has come for anarchy. I am also 100 percent for defunding Welfare and social programs. Lets start saving money and taking responsibility for ourselves. You want security, arm yourself or pay a private company. You want handouts, go beg on the street corner. Enough is enough.
  11. LOL...I absolutely LOVE listening to people like you! It warms my heart! I am so looking forward to what is coming down the pike in this country! Better arm yourselves, boys and girls!
  12. LOL....like those players would even give a crap about playing in the NCAA without the possibility of playing in the NFL.
  13. You guys have no idea how much I want the Police abolished! I will sit back and giggle all the while loading up. Please God happen! I am young enough to more than handle myself. I may die but so be it to rid this country of Liberal scum.
  14. I so ***** much hope police are defunded! I want the wild, wild west to return!!!! I know I am armed and ready! Hope you all are! Lawlessnes appeals to me so ***** much right now! Oh yeah,,, ***** the NFL and ***** the Pegula's! Today, I am officially done with pro sports! Goodell? Suck it! 34 years of serving my country and serving my community the best I possibly could, while breaking ***** bones and having my face slashed to shreds. See you guys around here but I will say it right now....I hope the NFL and pro sports fails. I know they won't but I sure do hope so!
  15. No. I disagree. The officers in Minneapolis were NOT doing their jobs.
  16. This bothered me all night. It was an awful thing to see. The more I thought about it I fully expect an arrest but I’m not so sure either will be convicted of anything. They were acting within the scope of their job regardless of the mans age. I mean, I do believe they acted recklessly but I also believe It can be argued they were doing their job the way they were taught. Again, I think it definitely should have been handled much differently and I do expect an arrest but I do not know about a conviction.
  17. 32 teams must all have the same process because he hasn’t signed with anyone. Am I doing this right?
  18. Here’s what I think. again, JMO. The two officers to my eye, look very young. could be wrong there but I would bet they don’t want to arrest an old man. They push him back. He doesn’t catch his balance because of his age and the rest happens. I bet anything they now wish they just took him into custody instead of pushing him. Those two, I’m quite certain, will lose their career over this decision which I see why they did it, but.....it didn’t end up good. The one Officer seems to be a little more responsible for this.It will be interesting to see how that is viewed. And the bad part that sucks for them is that is the exact way they are trained for riot training. To push back and continue forward. They will lose their job for doing their job correctly but there is always gray area and they were in that gray area. You probably shouldn’t shove an elderly person. I would say they will both probably be charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree, a Misdemeanor, for recklessly causing physical injury to another. It will be interesting to see if they attempt to charge the one with Assault 2nd , a Felony, for having a riot stick and pushing him with that. I don’t think they will because the stick didn’t cause the injury. The concrete did. There is a subdivision under Assault For a person over 65 and the actor being 10 years younger but you have to show an intent to injure. There obviously is no intent in this matter. Now, if this man dies which is a possibility, they will both be charged with Manslaughter 2nd Degree.
  19. So, you are asking people to be phoney in times like this? The time of caring about hurting people's feelings over false narrative's should be over.
  20. She most certainly can decide who is a martyr in her opinion. Few of us also have a criminal history a mile long, burglarized a pregnant woman's apartment and held a gun to her.... Or have fentanyl, meth and pot in our system. What Candace Owens said is spot in and hurts people's little feelings.
  21. I find it disgusting that players would kneel during the anthem but I also realize they have the right to do that if their employer allows them to.
  22. I think Tre is a bit overboard with it but that is just my opinion. Tre White is still my favorite Buffalo Bill.
