2016 was my first “burn out” year because of Wrex. The fact he alienated so many key players (Mario Williams) and ruined an elite defense, it’s amazing his replacement dug the team out of that hole relatively quickly.

I think he can make the team over Vernon Butler, I’m just not sure the team keeps 4 DTs. I think there’s a strong chance they keep 6 DEs.

Levi allowed 57% completion percentage and only missed 5% of his tackle attempts, not bad at all. Sherman allowed 72% and missed 10% of his tackle attempts. Are we sure it’s an upgrade?

You can’t play that card until Allen has a SB. Doesn’t matter how great Allen and White are, if Mahommes is consistently going to the SB and a perennial All-Pro then they won that trade.

I think we keep 6 DEs and 3 DTs. Toss up with Hughes/Addison. Two aging, expensive vets who’s best years may be in the rear view. Do we cut loose Bam Johnson, a key cog on the ‘teams? Groot, Obada, AJ, and Boogie all have experience rushing from inside, so I see the DTs being Eddy, Star, and Harry. Zimmer on the Squad with Bam (if they stick with Hughes/Addison

Bam Johnson is a core SP-Teamer… Boogie and Groot have flashed big time… The Autocorrect Bros (Obada and Espensa (sp?)) have been consistently impressive… Is the true battle for the 6th DE spot between Addison and Hughes?

I think with ALL the rumors, Beane randomly opening up the cap space, and the team randomly having Gillian switch from 86 to 81 (then to 41), the Ertz deal was actually very close to being official.
