    Look at the talent levels of each team. I don't remember Wilks ever having one of the best offensive lines in football, any pro bowl/all pro QBs or an NFL rushing leader.

    Frank Reich was 3-5-1 before he was fired by Indy. A "much better hire" based on what? Wilks did more with a less talented roster.

    A credit to him and their front office. Not his fault McDermott and Beane whiff on draft picks.

    The only defensive coach I can think of that doesn't value the run game or running backs, in general, and he coaches an outdoor, cold weather team. No he cannot.

    That's a losing battle. There isn't a corner in the league who can cover the elite guys 1 on 1.

    Payton has a Super Bowl victory, no? What are we talking about? A lot of Payton's shortcomings record-wise were Drew Brees and his turnovers, that everyone likes to gloss over. *On a side note, it would be nice to see Cook utilized in a Kamara role, like his talent warrants.

    McBeane would have stood pat with Higgins and not drafted Chase. Zero doubt in my mind they would have gone with Jaycee Horn or Patrick Surtain II. There's nothing about their past drafts that suggest otherwise.

    He may be a touch inconsistent, but nothing on the level of Gabe. Davis has yet to surpass DK's rookie stat line, much less post a 1300 yard season.

    Brings me to this point: - Philosophy on drafting WRs later in the draft. "We got Stef Diggs in the 1st Round." No philosophy, if Jamar Chase was there we'd take him in a minute. You passed on DK Metcalf when this team desperately needed a receiver.

    If Waddle catches a ball or 2, the Bills get bounced by a Skylar Thompson led Dolphins team. Also possible.

    People really think we don't need to upgrade the RB position? 🤭 Every year I feel like I'm banging the table for a DK Metcalf or a Breece Hall and every year there's majority resistance. Some of you never learn. And of course the offensive line needs retooling. That goes without saying.

    Don't take it personally. This is who Eli Apple has always been. It's why nobody likes him. Did you miss the Eli Apple roast after their Super Bowl loss last season?

    Realistically, McDermott gets 2 more years. Depending on how this off-season and draft goes, I may be done with them before the first day of training camp. Get Josh the help he needs on OFFENSE or feel the wrath.

    They're not great, but I'm willing to let them suffer for a season. O-line, WR and RB. Should have pulled the trigger on McCaffrey.

    The Bills could have Diggs and Metcalf right now. Imagine. At that point the #3 guy's job is cake. I'll throw Breece Hall in the mix too. McBeane does not believe in drafting game-breaking offensive talent. That's a problem. *Cook could be special, but he needs more touches. He should be utilized like Alvin Kamara.

    A bunch of nothing. Super Bowl favorites falling short of the goal, losing at home in the playoffs. Tempers are sure to flare. This is football.

    Not for nothing, Reid and the Eagles parted ways before they both won Super Bowls.

    I said a while ago that McDermott will be our Bill Cowher. Just good enough to not get fired. While we're drafting defense every year and selecting Cody Ford over DK Metcalf, the Bengals went and drafted Mixon, Higgins, Burrow and Chase. For the love of God, get some game breaking weapons on this offense!
