  1. Leaving out Josh's turnovers speaks volumes. Stats are only part of the story. The original comment said that Josh had 4 seasons better than Lamar's MVP year. That's simply not true. Even on paper, Josh's passing stats this past season look pedestrian. It's been a down year for all the top QBs.
  2. Lies! Lamar had 43 TDs to 8 total turnovers in 2019 with 1,200 yards on the ground. Show me 4 Allen seasons better than that.
  3. It's a real shame we can't afford Higgins because that's exactly what this team needs.
  4. It's not a dumb strategy when you've invested as much capital in a defense as this regime has.
  5. I fully understand what you're getting at. Your criteria for "great" is a high bar and there's nothing wrong with that.
  6. First off, we don't need a #2 WR. We need a guy that can fill the #1 role as soon as possible.
  7. No order Mahomes Jackson Allen Burrow Goff Purdy Murray Stroud Hurts Cousins
  8. 13 straight weeks without a 100 yard game is concerning. If Beane doesn't seriously address the WR position in the off-season, I'm on the "Fire Beane" train. Enough is enough.
  9. I like Samuel, but I don't think he's a necessary sign. Shakir is comfortably slotted in as our #3, I think.
  10. Josh has about 5 more years of absolute prime football. After that, the legs will start to fade and his game will change. I selected the Rivers option, but he'll be more revered than Phillip for sure. I don't think he carries a team to a championship. He's going to need help. Unfortunately, Beane and McDermott have shown that they're not too interested in doing that.
  11. Time flies. Buffalo went from having the best safety tandem in the league to the end of the road for possibly both guys. Hyde was a perfect fit for this defense. I wish he and his family well. He'll be missed out there.
  12. Ditto on all of this. N'Keal Harry was the first name that came to mind watching Coleman.
  13. I'm loving people taking notice of Troy Franklin. On top of all the polish, has a knack for finding the soft spots in zones as well. The total package. I have no idea why he's penciled in as a 2nd rounder, but I'm glad he is.
  14. Iron sharpens Iron. This is excellent for Chargers. I'm happy for their fanbase.
  15. I only care about what these guys do on the football field, so long as they're not driving drunk or abusing anyone. The only thing I want to know from Stef is if he's nursing an injury of some kind. I don't need any post-game off-season fluff.
  16. I'm strictly against body catchers. In the video I posted, you can see he's a natural hands catcher, but obviously every catch can't be a hands catch. Franklin gives me Chad Johnson vibes. Leggette doesn't seem to be that polished of a route runner.
  17. If Cooper DeJean is there, McDermott will sprint to the podium.
  18. That's my guy all the way. I will be posting this link frequently leading up to the draft Franklin can work the entire field. Here is your eventual Diggs replacement.
  19. I've been saying it. Home field is so overrated, especially for this Buffalo team that doesnt fair well in poor conditions.
  20. Allen - Dawkins - Bernard Too bad Buffalo is hamstrung with the contracts of Diggs, Miller and Knox. They'd be in a good position to add to a decent young core.
  21. I'm shocked that I actually love the combo of Cook and Ty Johnson, particularly with another year under their belts, but it wouldn't hurt to bring another guy in.
  22. I'm 40 with 2 kids. Whether the Bills win or lose, I still have to go to work this week. Wins are nice, but losses don't have the effect on me that they did 10 years ago. It's like the conversation Sonny had with C about Mickey Mantle in A Bronx Tale.
  23. Bass is the easy guy to blame. Not Cook, Sherfield, Diggs, the defense, Josh AND Bass. It was a true team loss.
  24. Now now. You know you can't blame Josh for anything around here. This was a team loss. Plenty of blame to go around, including Josh.
  25. The Bills weren't good enough to overcome the injuries, then you tack on the missed opportunities. Been saying it since Josh was drafted, this offense needs more playmakers.
