  1. If you're gonna be a bear be a grizzly. That MHJ package that OP put together, I'd rather have Nabers or make that same offer to Minnesota for Justin Jefferson. If that doesn't work, either a trade into the teens for Brian Thomas Jr. or stay put at 28 and draft Mitchell or Franklin. All of the above work for me. There are a plethora of options.
  2. There have been misses, but you have to contrast that with his hits. Beane seems to me a fluid guy that learns from his mistakes and adjusts accordingly. For me that's one of the most important traits for a GM. Trading Diggs has restored my faith in him. It was a tough move, but it needed to happen. Starting with Cook and Kincaid, he is retooling the offense right in front of our eyes and I like the direction it's heading.
  3. Can you blame him? This is the more realistic scenario. Can grab Thomas in the teens.
  4. Wouldn't complain at all. This is our Ja'Marr Chase or Justin Jefferson (LSU pun intended).
  5. Aiyuk is #1. With Josh as his QB, I guarantee a 1300+ yard season out of him, barring injury.
  6. Troy Franklin also fits that mold. More than the other prospects, Franklin shows an innate ability to find the soft spot in zones.
  7. That doesn't sound like Beane though. If he had it his way, I think he'd like to avoid any possible "what ifs" and go for a known entity. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he works something out for Justin Jefferson or Brandon Aiyuk.
  8. Just thinking out loud, but Aiyuk is being dangled out there.
  9. Anyone know the odds for the Bills trading for Justin Jefferson? 😏
  10. Just thought I'd add that there's a ZERO percent chance Josh won't be asked his opinion on what kind of WR he'd like or thinks would fit the offense.
  11. The chart isn't gospel. Sometimes teams have to give more, sometimes what's accpeted is less.
  12. People behind the scenes knew something was brewing. The line moved on him being traded, specifically, to the Texans. I was listening to Vic on XM and he stated that Beane is "retooling on the fly" and that's exactly what it looks like. With Cook being the RB1 and the addition of Samuel, it seems to me that speed will be a primary focus for this "revamped" offense. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell us much with Nabers, Thomas, Mitchell, Franklin, etc all being 4.3 guys. Pay close attention to those top-30 visits.
  13. Diggs used to be a top 5 WR in the league. He's still good, but the tread is getting thin and it seemed he just didn’t have it as the season wore on. A guy like Troy Franklin or Adonai Mitchell may prove to be the best wideout in this class. It's deep, as you know.
  14. Fournette was way past it by the time he got here, unfortunately.
  15. I disagree. Diggs didn't do jack for nearly 13 consecutive weeks to end the season. He wanted out and the Bills were wanting to move him. A win for both parties. The cap numbers are the cap numbers. Buffalo is about to usher in a premiere rookie at a skill position. I'm excited. This is Beane and Brady's new vision for the offense. The objective seems to be speed.
  16. @BullBuchanan You don't have like it. It's happening.
  17. Who's the best QB Samuel has had to work with? This will be a John Brown type of surprise.
  18. I don't have a good enough grasp of the trade compensation to make a guess, but it feels like a trade up. This I will say, Curtis Samuel's role is now HUGE. He is a weapon and it is now all but confirmed that he'll be used as such.
  19. Having a good feel for Beane, the plan is to move up and grab their guy. Brian Thomas is my best guess.
  20. It wasn't working here. 31 years old in November and in decline with a huge cap number. A hard move, but a necessary one. Both parties should benefit.
  21. For the record, I like the move. Enough is enough. Has this new era of WRs shown you all nothing? Do you realize the kind of numbers a Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave would be putting up with Josh Allen at QB? I'm a Brandon Beane fan. He gets it.
  22. Not really. With Josh at QB, Diggs is replaceable. Expect Beane to shoot for Brian Thomas or one of the top 3
  23. Fair enough, but Dobbins is a 1-cut and go guy. 215lb-220lb RB that with 4.3 speed. The talent is real.
  24. The problem is, when he isn't hurt he's among the very best in football. Pacheco and Dobbins is a worrisome 1-2.
