Many people who follow baseball know that Brian Cashman traded Aroldis Chapman to Cubs couple years back. In return the Yankees now have the number one prospect in Baseball in Gleyber Torres and got a good bullpen arm in Adam Warren. And a couple other prospects. Well they got all that for a half a year rental because Chapman was a free agent and signed with the Yankees in off-season. This move helped them go from missing the playoffs to 1 game from the World Series. Now how does this relate to the Bills? Well Sammy Watkins is a free agent. With guys like Kupp and Woods being the Rams primary revievers he could walk. Well Bills need a Flanker. Benjamin is a Split End. That means Zay is our current Flanker. He would be way better suited as a Slot receiver since he can't play SE with Benjamin on team. Sammy is the prototypical Flanker. It's a perfect fit. Watkins isn't playing his best so he won't cost nearly as much as once thought. So does Matthews walk and we bring Watkins back? If he does it would be awesome. He hindsight he would have traded Watkins a one year rental for a 2nd round pick and EJ Gaines... Just to add Watkins back. Would be an awesome move by Brandon. Is he trying to pull a Cashman and Chapman type move? Lineup SE- Kelvin Benjamin /Andre Holmes SL- Zay Jones FL- Sammy Watkins/Deonte Thompson Just for record. I don't think it happens. I think Mike Wallace on a one year rental is most likely. Maybe a Moncrief or John Brown is brought in to play Flanker. But it would be an awesome move if Beane does pull it off... And unexpected

Zay has gotten way better since the bye week. Gotta remember he is playing out of position as a Flanker too. He is a split end or slot guy. We need to add a true Flanker this off-season. Move Zay to slot and let Matthews walk.

That's the thing. The top dogs in the draft like Allen and Darnold has had very underwhelming seasons. It was the borderline 2nd to 3rd guys like Falk, Rudolph and Mayfield who had similar or better years then the so called franchise QBs. The one QB that is the exception is Rosen but I don't see anyway he doesn't go #1. I'd rather use a first on Mayfield or a 2nd on Falk then use 2 1sts on Darnold/Allen. Lamar Jackson is considered a top 10 pick and has had a great year but he takes a lot of risks that he will not be allowed to have at the NFL level. We need a more prototypical QB and Jackson is not that.

Mayfield has shown that improvment as well. I think the Bills actually end up targetting Luke Falk. Just seems like a kid who Sean McDermott would love to have

Should honestly be more. Mike Evans got one game for shoving Lattimore in the back. What Gronk did was worse. Targetted the head of the player and giving him a concussion. He should get 3 games. One for hitting player from behind like Evans, one for targeting head, and one more for hit resulting in injury Gronk better watch his back in 3 weeks. Someone is gonna get him back if they are only giving out one game for intentionally injuring players.

Manziel had a ton of talent. His issue is he didn't care. Didn't put in any effort. If he cared and was put on a better team he could have been a great player

Style of play. Mayfield is extremely accurate and gets rid of the ball quickly. His timing with receivers fits Dennison's offense way better than Tyrod. Mayfield throws receivers opens and doesn't just wait for a WR to be wide open. And he has the athletic ability to extend plays and most importantly is just as accurate on the run.

Taking a 2nd to 3rd round QB 6th overall is dumb. And Darnold should stay another year

I compare him to a better version of Case Keenum who happens to be having an excellent season. Mayfield is a bit more athletic and wears his emotions on his sleeve more. Mayfield is as talented as Manziel and if he channels his emotions could have the leadership of Tebow. That is legit the perfect combination Rosen is likely to go first overall and Darnold needs to return for another season. He was much worse than people we're expecting... His expectations were just too high after his freshman year. If Darnold left school now he would be a INT machine

Actually if the Bills win and Ravens win Bills take the wildcard spot because Ravens play a NFC team this week and will be 5-3 in conference... Same as us. That is tie breaker number two after head to head. We don't play head to head this year so it goes to Tie breaker number three which is common opponents which we don't meet the minimum requirements of 4 common opponents yet.
