We weren't set a week ago. We had one healthy QB on roster. No one knew how long he would be in concussion protocol. I doubt it BS... I think we checked in when Allen was hurt. But now that he is cleared concussion protocol I wouldn't expect anything to happen with this unless he get hurt again and misses substantial time

Guessing we checked in on him after Allen's concussion incase he was out for an extended period of time

I don't understand the argument in this threads...Milano clearly got blocked into Mariota's knees... By rule that's not a foul. It was clear as day live and on the replay. It's impossible to nail every draft pick... Even Patriots miss. Itll happen... But draft time Zay was clearly the better prospect than JuJu. His senior bowl elevated his draft stock cause he was catching everything. He never dropped anything in college... Unfortunately that was not the case at the next level. Kind of strange to see a strength turn into a weakness. I think that drop against Carolina killed his confidence and he never regained it.

Had to many touchbacks when they should have been pinned inside the 10. Can't afford that. I feel there was a couple times we moved the ball to 40 or 50 yard line and had chance to win field position battle and it was thrown away with a TB.

Why do you hate that rule? Once you in endzone play is ruled dead... It's to protect the players from being hit late. Other wise a player can run untouched into endzone and a defender can run up behind them and try and force a fumble... Even after they stop playing. Or spikes would be considered fumbles

Being without Taron Johnson is gonna hurt us IMO. I think that Neal has performed well in the nickle. Heck I think he may be better than Johnson. I just don't think that Neal has the agility to keep up with Edelman. A slot recievers like Edelman on a guy drafted as SS is a mismatch.

Need just one spear to the mid section... Honestly if I'm running the Patriots I wouldn't play him. Players a taught to go for the midsection and not go high or low on a player. Defenders hit the ribs an midsection to avoid penalties which doesn't bode well for having a rib injury. They'll be targeted whenever he touches the football.
