Kinda just dawned on me the Patriots game last week was one of the latest times they've come to Buffalo in the year. Hmm, can it be the NFL calculates the increased odds they'd have to play on the road in conditions like that?

Before the Colts last drive in the 4th Quarter, they were basically held in check all day. Had no problems with the call to punt. Different defense that last year in the Miami game. I had faith they would get the ball back.

Well in response to the other thread but there's probably more songs I hear this time of year I don't like versus like. This song was nice though. I heard it some years back shopping at Boscov's. Have never heard on the radio since though:

Absolutely. I tend to think he's a little overrated in general. Though Wham's Last Christmas I think may give it some competition

Overall big picture I like what were doing but it would definitely be easier to take if we didn't start out 5-2. Plus short term let's be honest it's still painful watching us being manhandled and bullied by the Patriots

It was actually the Jets for me as they were the local team. My Dad took me to a pro game as a birthday present when I was around 12. They played the Rams that day. It was during the Rich Kotite era. I remember they lost and the game went to 4:30 for some reason even though there was no overtime. I remember as well a helicopter flying over the stadium advertising condoms.

Month old thread

I thought 6-10 at the beginning of the year as did most posters here in a poll. All things considered 8-8 wouldn't be a bad first year. Just losing to the Patriots, that just always sucks!

Always wondered this as I'm about half myself. I suppose Gronk doesn't really help matters

Pretty sure the Browns in 13 was a Thursday night game. Be honest were just not interesting to the average fan. Every time I go into the store Lids Bills merchandise is never represented

I'm not actually saying this in hindsight but at 3rd and one from the Patriots 7 I wanted them to go play action into the end zone. McCoy did get first down but we all know what happened on the next play. Agree though you have to bring your A game and play aggressively to beat the Pats. After that interception it was all down hill as you said ultra conservative.

All things considered I have a feeling we'd be at the same spot right now if Marrone was still around. McDermott isn't really too different from Marrone to me. The handclapping could be annoying but he appears to be far less abrasive. Marrone was better than Rex, if he's better than McDermott is TBD. But wow there's actually some days thinking of Gailey, Marrone, and Rex that make want to apologize to Jauron. Not that he didn't deserve to be fired but the hostility was a bit much considering all this that transpired afterwards.

Have no problem going to Peterman the rest of the way and still have no problem he started the Charger game. In Tyrods defense though they don't really cater to his strengths here. One of the few pluses about Rex
