Another Fan

While I agree the story seems something of a publicity stunt, it can be a pain growing up with a large head. I took after my mother’s side of the family where most males had big heads. Could never find a cap to fit me in little league. I had the biggest head in middle school where my graduation cap kept falling off my head. Was told frequently my head was too big for my body and nicknamed World. Funny story: My cousin married a Jewish girl a few years back. Out of respect at the ceremony we were supposed to wear Yamakas. I tried putting it on but it kept falling off. To which my mother replied: Dan you definitely don’t make a good Jew. My other cousin might have had it the worst. Another mother one time went up to his Mom and asked if her son had brain cancer. ?

So today I was behind what looked like the local middle school bus. Dropped a bunch of kids off who proceeded to all be picked up. For the most part kids don't really hang out outside anymore I've noticed for a while now. Sometimes on the weekends some kids ride bikes, that's about it. As a kid of the 90's that's pretty much all you did. Back then that was looked as uncool if you just sat inside all the time.

True but it’s easier to like an opposing team if there’s no real rivalry. If the Bills and Packers were you in the same conference it’d probably be more difficult to have that mutual respect

Cool story. I don't really follow the NBA that much but the team I like is the Cavs. If I read their message boards Zion is the player most fans have the heart on drafting. Locally Knicks fans would like him as well. I think though in today's NBA the 3 worst teams go in the lottery together for the #1 pick?

He might have been the first guy to really make me change my mind on people with lots of tattoos and piercings. I used to think they were a bit out there and scary. Stevie though seemed like a fun, likeable, and good guy

I haven’t had the time yet to listen in from Monday. While YouTube comments in general tend to bring out the worst in humanity many commented on VW sounding full of crap and Mike being arrogant

Not really a big Sabres fan in the way I like the Bills but always nice to see them step it up. Only 2 points back of a playoff spot. Seems the Rangers always give the Sabres fits though. Look forward to Friday’s game

Going back to what the OP posted, the 90s Nick at Nite is where I learned of Welcome Back Kotter and Taxi. Even though it looks very dated today Taxi was a great show

Agree. I always say every Bills fan needs to watch that game in full if they weren’t alive or old enough to remember it. It represents the best/most optimistic of times with everybody healthy

Growing up in New Jersey, I always felt awful for Rich Kotite and how Jets fans talked about him/still do. I’m happy with their recent hires. Richie’s legacy and name won’t appear nearly as bad anymore!

It’s been years since I’ve been to a Bills game but I think this fan base isn’t the type who goes there to be seen, enjoy the restaurants.... Im pretty hyper focused on the game itself to really be eating at it. Can’t be bothered. Plus the lines can be a pain. I mean maybe the more trendy stadiums this sort of thing works?
