They can’t. Their wins are against horrible teams. The defense is depending on guys like Dane Jackson, Tre White and PS DTs to hold down teams like the Chiefs. The passing game is broken and Josh isn’t being Josh this season. The GM can’t fix it, he has proven time and time again that he’s in over his head. The guy hasn’t been able to fix the defense since Frazier was here, and now he broke the offense. He still can’t admit that the WR room is a problem

When you draft in the later rounds you have to nail your draft picks and backfill will a few FA that contribute, Beane does neither of those things well. KC and Philly manage to be there every season and usually pick later than us with the same salary cap issues. Beane tries to do more with less every season and it’s on full display this year. They are constantly doubling down on a process that is clearly broken

Window closed after 13 seconds but they had a chance last season. Defense once again cost them a shot at the Lombardi, and now they have little talent surrounding JA to go along with a bad defense. It’s going to be another disappointing playoff exit while being expected to continue to trust a broken process.

The McBeane experiment should be scrapped. 8 years is enough of a litmus test to see neither of them have what it takes to get this team over the top. 13 seconds should have been the breaking point since that was our best shot at a title. Poor execution, bad early round drafting, bad coaching and bad contracts all add up to being time to make a change.

I wish McD could answer why Cook is on the sideline for 50% of the snaps when he is your second best offensive player. They march down the field on his back and score, then they go away from him, it makes no GD sense.
