  1. He won't be. He'll be the saviour we all deserve and the one we need all wrapped up in one. That's my narrative. How did your pup survive the Rex era?
  2. They need him healthy for game 4. Don't want to be forced into playing a viable NFL caliber receiver.
  3. What did you witness in his play so far to bring upon this opinion? I understand the philosophy behind it, but his execution on the field, despite a OL with protection issues, was terrible vs the Browns. His sample size is small, so we may not have seen the best of AJ, I'm just not sure that a QB making QB2 money that has fallen to QB3 on a thin depth chart at OBD is really going to be in high demand on the open market.
  4. 4 cb's is really leaving things thin back there in the case of an injury. I am not certain who is worth keeping in addition to those 4, but I'd hope to see at least one more.
  5. I'm in the minority in that I cheer for the Hawks as my NFC squad. There were 5 years of glory for that organization where the entire league aimed to pillage their FO and coaching staff. And, they did and now they are in a horrible place in both areas. If this rumour is true, then Paul Allen needs to clean house and find himself a regime worth paying because these guys have been revealed as being clueless.
  6. Wow. How that guy got a camp invite is beyond me. Is he kicking on 2 broken legs?
  7. I have taken a "Shining" to him in his time here. Let's hope that he's not one of "The Departed " at the end of camp. Those are, of course, references to his grandfather the famous actor. ?
  8. I think that by season 3, you have a good idea on what a player is or is not capable of. The reports (multiple) out of TC have him getting manhandled by second rate o-linemen. I would not think that a positive thing in a prove-it year. I don't know if Fede or Owa offer much more than he does, but in year 3, it's really a case of if they offer any more it's still more. I wish he was more than he is....I just don't think he is.
  9. Much ado about nothing. Dez was washed up 2 seasons ago and was reminiscent of our favourite whipping boy old Armadillo hands last year. Why anyone from the Cowboys feels the need to respond is beyond me. Media soundbites and social media are horrendous.
  10. Good post-dump post right there Royale. I do my best posting mid-deuce I find....
  11. Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't sound promising behind this OL. Designed roll outs are going to be integral and the QB's ability to escape AND get the ball out is key.
  12. This season is all on the defense. If they play as well as many of us expect, the team will be in every game that the QB doesn't turn the ball over incessantly, which sadly is a reasonable expectation to have with the group behind center. If the team is 3-5 at the turn, I'll give them 9-7. It's a new offence with a need to gel which we should hope to see improvement in throughout the season.
  13. Sorry. Sarcasm and cheekiness don't come off that well in print for me apparently. Meant no offence, nor am I attempting to start a ongoing battle. BTW, I've got 13 years on the board, formerly as VanCity. I probably should have at least got your catch phrase right.
  14. Thank 716! Greatly appreciated!!
  15. You are an idiot. I always wanted to say that to you. Take no offense. Actually....take a bunch and dwell on it.
  16. But, has he hit a sideline tent yet? Then we can officially call him a bust and be done with it...
  17. More like "Planes, Trains and Automobiles to the post-camp unemployment line"
  18. John Hughes?! A little Breakfast Club might be in order for this team...
  19. Day 1...but I'm okay with switching the QB order and dropping Nate to the bottom....
  20. Where they serve only the finest food. Escargot and such....
  21. I've called Foster as a roster guy since minicamp. Not backing off that now.
