Phillip Lindsay Released
MiltonWaddams replied to Purplebulldog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He can’t give them his speed. Also, he’s only one year further into his career than Motor, so experience isn’t his largest attribute. He’d be lead back in that room unquestionably. -

That would eliminate a draft need. Money dependent, I would jump at that opportunity. -
Mark Carrier named Bills Player Engagement Director

Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston

Stafford’s largest accomplishment to date is getting the hell out of Detroit -
I think you meant an old oft-injured slow guy to replace their old slow guy.

Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston

This could make us all happy. Keep him out of the AFC East and to a team that probably doesn’t contend with or without him. -
Good for Smoke. We should all wish him nothing but the best.

Based on my limited research. Mr Buzbee is a showman and loves him some attention. Disappointing to see such bravado exhibited to reveal a sexual assault case.

Raiders should trade Carr to NE and go for broke with Watson.

Gronk Considered signing with Bills
MiltonWaddams replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Holding a grudge against a player who did something stupid that long ago doesn’t make sense under these circumstances. We are looking at a team that will compete for a Super Bowl next season if they make the right moves. Adding a truly elite tight end would be considered a right move by anybody. -
Before Rivera I would agree. He has legitimized that organization more than they have been since the early 90s. But, from an ownership position, they are a travesty.

Ugh. So much more than I expected. This DE class is too rich for the Bills cap-thin blood. Scrap for the cap it seems.

Predict the Bills first free agent signing
MiltonWaddams replied to Bag of Milk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McKenzie. Does he count? -
Agreed, but even with some inventive cap management, it would be tough to pay a tight end the $10 million plus per year that those two are going to get and fill out the roster and pay the draft picks for this year. This is going to be a very exciting week to see how they manage to fill out the roster.

Counting on the organic development and maturation of Dawson Knox is not a good way to move forward into next season. Having a top 10 tight end in this offense would be a good evolution in my opinion. As such, Smith should be on the Bills radar. As should Ertz, Henry, Gronk and any other available high-quality TE’s.

Free Agency Wish List After Pre FA re-signings
MiltonWaddams replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be one heck of a creative contract. I think he’s going in the $10 million plus category for contracts. He would be an excellent fit on the left side of the line, but I’m not sure they commit that kind of money to a guard -
Drew Brees finally announces retirement
MiltonWaddams replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is a fair statement. I’m pretty sure that, on this board at least, that goes without saying. In fact, maybe never mention it again and we can be friends -
Bills re-sign Feliciano
MiltonWaddams replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The agent and the NFLPA will not let that happen. It may end up being as team friendly as possible, but the man is going to get paid what he deserves. It’s all relative, but I cannot see him going under $40 million per year -
Bills re-sign Feliciano

In my head, I said to myself “if this is what he can do with a low salary cap, I can’t wait to see what Beane can do with the one that is coming with the big TV deals”. Then, I quickly self corrected by remembering Josh. Still a fantastic job of keeping the three most key, imho, FA’s in the fold. -

An all-time great career and sure fire first ballot Hall of Famer. Sad to see him only win one Super Bowl, but them’s the breaks. You can’t say his team didn’t put everything they had behind him. -
What’s your earliest memory of the Buffalo Bills?
MiltonWaddams replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
October 1987. My dad went down to Buffalo for a game with a group of friends. I listened to it on the radio. I didn’t know much about it, but I knew my dad and his friends were excited to be there so I was excited to listen. The Bills beat the Giants in overtime and my dad came back from the game with a big smile and his friends all cheered when they drove away after dropping him off. I knew they had a good time and I heard the energy in the stadium through the radio. I was hooked. -
Jordan Poyer admits to being an alcoholic
MiltonWaddams replied to Markaf431's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am very happy for Jordan. Taking that step is a big one and shows a great degree of self-awareness and self control. Maturation is a beautiful thing and clarity of purpose is even more so. -

And the Tampa Bay buccaneers continue to look smarter than the New England patriots. I don’t see any problem here today.
