  1. so between mccarron and nate we are at 16/20 for 227 yards 2tds a FG and 1 int or something like that? I'll take that in one half of football any day it's quite refreshing actually. I think we're heading in the right direction and Daboll seems light years ahead of Dennison most of all.
  2. Truthfully if Ivory had caught that ball he was about to get destroyed by the big linemen. I think that may have had something to do with it as well. If the ball had been delivered in front of him that linemen probably would have been a non factor but because where it was he was having to pump back a little bit and he was going to get drilled if he caught it. I'd say 50/50 on the blame for the actual int between ivory and peterman, not every throw is going to be pin-point perfect, you got to protect the ball at least make sure nobody else catches it.
  3. Davis stood out to me, I didn't notice edmunds out of position but he did seem a little nervous out there.
  4. ugh we need more bills stuff to talk about. QUICK BEAN MAKE ANOTHER DEAL.
  5. Lol you've been posting on these boards all spring and summer. Its okay, we are like BILLS ADDICTS ANONYMOUS.
  6. The kid isnt ready to start yet calm down he barely knows how to talk to the reporters. Give him a chance hes been in town for 2 weeks he has a lot to learn. Aj is the man for now we better get used to it.
  7. Average team around 300 million in revenue 40 million in profit? So not as much as you'd think basically https://www.quora.com/How-much-money-does-an-NFL-team-owner-make-off-his-her-team-per-year Although 40 million a year in profit adds up nicely over time.
  8. Really? The most obvious reason why WRs are so successful in Pittsburgh isn't there uncanny drafting ability -- it's the fact that they have BEN ROETHLISBERGER. I'm not even sure how you can compare it to a Tyrod Taylor led offense? Thats the biggest difference, in my mind. You don't think if Zay Jones was drafted by Pitt he would have had a better season?:P Not saying he's better than JuJu, but I know for sure he would have had a much better statistical season with Big Ben and that high flying offense.
  9. Time to move on you know you can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you might find....
  10. This shouldn't surprise you. What choice do fans have? Be pouty, whiney, know it all crybabies who refuse to support their teams decision because they think they know best? Yeah. When life hands you lemons you make the lemonade.
  11. With a few exceptions it felt like the nfl was being decent to us all year long. As bills fans, we have gotten used to being abused. It felt better having a few go our way.
  12. McDermott D gonna make him retire early just watch
  13. 11-5 We improve in year 2 under McDermott and bean
  14. Nothing against Kims qualifications -- i do think she could handle this job. But don't worry if Kim does bad Terry will just fire her right guys??? Some owners are not involved at that level where they are suggesting who the GM should draft, that's just not how most of them are. Most of them leave that stuff to the experts they have hired. Some like Jerry Jones get more involved and it causes problems typically. Robert Kraft got involved recently when he forced the garapolo trade and told belichik to suck it up and deal with Brady for as long as Brady wants. It's not good when stuff like that happens
  15. The biggest issue with Kim isn't her lack of experience rather a lack of real accountability... what's Terry gonna Do, fire her?
  16. Agreed that's why I said I actually prefer her on that side of the operations... it's the football stuff they need to steer clear from and they haven't been.
  17. I'd say 75% of hard working Americans could easily handle this job. It's NOT that hard to be an executive and they often make tons of mistakes and in the end get fired or quit just like Russ. Being a garbage man is hard. Single mothers providing for children that is hard. Being an executive of a billion dollar sports complex? That's highly rewarding and honestly easier. They don't actually DO the work, they are just responsible for the results.
  18. I think Kim could handle the job. I prefer on that side of the operation!
  19. Yep. Jerry Jones Esque that's exactly what I said. But I am biased I wanted Rosen and I think Allen was drafted over him for reasons that have little to do with throwing the football. Still, I'm buying an Allen jersey and rooting for success.
  20. Bean was asked directly how involved they were on WGR. He dodged a bit but acknowledged of course they were involved on the future face of the franchise. He downplayed how much and accepted ultimate responsibility for the pick. There is also evidence since they traveled personally with the coaches to meet them. And of course the congratulatory phone call from Kim to Josh where she said she made up her mind after their first visit. It's all anecdotal, but it does support the case. None the less, just a little too involved for my tastes leave the football and the draft to the football guys is how I would prefer it be FWIW maybe those football guys were leaning towards Allen anyways whose to say but again, I prefer some separation there so it's not even a question.
  21. Personally I think the pegulas had more to do with the quarterback we drafted then I would like. Still hopeful/excited for the prospects of our new draft class, but personally I would prefer the pegulas to stay out of it. They remind me of Jerry Jones -- a little too "involved". I hope it works out though.
  22. Spoken like a true man! People in the work place are not there for your sexual advances. Do that **** on your own time.
  23. It's like they had our draft.. what happened?
