  1. His 20 yard backwards pass remains a QB milestone. Pretty sure he holds the record.
  2. Politics has, at least temporarily, become the new football.
  3. 'Fumble' overrule left a real sour taste. Variations on Rodgers hit happen every week. Football hurts, some more than others.
  4. Henderson isn't a better option than anyone. I'd rather have sandbags than that piece of crap.
  5. Exactly! Passing should be discouraged and in fact, a completed pass should result in a fine for not only Tyrod, but also for the receiver. Zay Jones saw it coming and decided to begin spiking the ball instead of catching it. If a monetary fine is against the CBA, then a pink belly or a whack with a lawn chair.
  6. Did he break a bone, ligament or was it some other kind of human meat problem? Anyone have the specifics on this injury?
  7. Rodgers only threw for 18 yards and they only lost by 13, so it stands to reason that if Tyrod only throws for 62 yards (yet remains the ever fun, elusive, thoughtful game manager), we should basically almost win sometimes.
  8. Oakland had high hopes. I think Del Rio should get to work on his resume, with a focus on landscaping.
  9. I guess the key race factor being discussed is 'mobility', but his 3.8 yards per rush and 18 sacks just do not scream 'mobility'. I have been seeing 'indecisive', which has nothing to do with race. He may still be capable of being mobile and I wish it would reappear, but it hasn't shown up this year.
  10. I wonder if Belichek has ever fired a DC? With Gilmore's ongoing help, Patricia might be the 1st.
  11. Gimore is officially out. Concussion/migraine.
  12. They beat the Pats at home 2 of the last 4 years. I agree. I think they might pull it off.
  13. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2017/10/10/bills-add-two-to-practice-squad/ "The Bills have added a pair of players to their practice squad. Buffalo signed TE Ryan O’Malley and C Adam Redmond. O’Malley was an undrafted rookie signing of the Oakland Raiders in 2016 and spent most of that season on the team’s practice squad. Re-signed as a reserve future free agent in January, O’Malley spent the whole offseason and preseason with the Raiders before he was released during final cuts. Redmond (6-6, 300) was just released by the Indianapolis Colts late last week. He appeared in the team’s first four games and also spent some time on their practice squad. He spent most of the 2016 season on the Colts practice squad after originally signing as an undrafted rookie last year." Be nice if Redmond could be worked in as backup C and try moving Groy to RG.
  14. Last year Taylor gained 6.1 yards per rush. This year = 3.8. Taylor's advantage is ..... what?
  15. Taylor is unable to read the D well enough to change the play at the LOS. Instead, he needs to wait until the play is in progress and by using hand and arm signals, change the play. Wonderful.
  16. I agree, though I'm not sure it helps your point. He peaked 2 years ago and is in rapid decline.
  17. "In the NFL, “wide-open,” is having 1-2 steps on the defender. “Open” is being even with the defender but in a superior position. Big difference, isn’t it." 1-2 steps is definitely not Tyrod's idea of "wide open". He doesn't feel it in his heart and for him the receiver is still only basically almost open.
  18. This isn't a particularly solid argument. One complaint about Taylor is he does not throw downfield over the middle and this infographic displays the truth of that statement. He has a ton of little three second - 3 yard dinkers, but only 5 passes over the middle downfield (10 yards or more). If anything, it is more depressing. He holds the ball forever, only to toss a 3 yard pass. He is Groundhog Day.
