We are getting nowhere with this defense. If they don't add some fire power to the offense in a form of a trade this team will not get very far.

Will we ever be able to identify a screen pass?

I've never been a fan of the "everybody eats" mentality I think it's a giant mismanagement in a SB window by Beane (It doesn't mean I want him fired), if we can get the Raiders to eat the salary I think we should go for it. Adams was solid even last year with bums throwing him the ball and stays relatively healthy or at least has the past 2 seasons. I'm not sure what you pay for him but if they eat most of the salary I'm sure they'l demand a 1st for him.

Didn't we just trade a 30+ WR who wanted the ball every play? So we're going to add another 1, why trade Diggs in the 1st place then? How can we preach "everyone eats" after this? Imo the Bills aren't even making a call to see how much money they can save.

McDermott is a former DC and had a week to prepare for this. Personnel or not they should have attempted to stop the run. First play was the typical 2 safeties deep, why do this? I know we always play this but you can’t obviously against this team, why would a supposed defensive guru not know this?

As a serious fan I don’t want to hear about draft picks, we talk about draft picks when we have Fitzpatrick or Tyrod Taylor at QB. I want to win championships and if we don’t with probably the best QB we’ve ever had or will have then who cares about some 2nd round pick. I know this seems like a negative post but I’m just being honest.

I get what you’re saying here but I want to know something. I’m a pretty avid fan of this game, the Bills had a week to prepare for this game knowing full well it will be run heavy. If I am just every fan knows the Ravens will run heavy how in the world on the first play are our safeties back deep? They have been beat by getting thrown on with deep and intermediate throws yet we try bubble screens and some wacky ass trick play. This happens far too often with teams that are of the Bills talent level.

It's a continuing problem from a supposed defensive guru. This team looks great against the Cardinals/Dolphins of the NFL but put them against a running team who does alot of screen plays and we consistently look lost or any mahomes lead team. Have we beaten the Bengals yet? It's getting old.

The terrible- This defensive line once again against real good teams continues to be non existent, the bengals at home, the Chiefs countless times, the only player to come up big once was Baylon Specter. This is unacceptable from a former DC, how can this continue to be a problem? Where is Ed Oliver, Dajuan Jones is yet another bust along the DL, Groot was hardly noticeable, Epenesa is non existent. What is this defense? I don't want injury excuses, these guys never show up against teams like this and until it's rectified I don't think this team is ever making it to a SB.

I get this but I wanted to see this team against top notch competition and the first test was an absolute disaster, the game plan on both sides of the ball were god awful and we didn't even look in the same league as them so to just brush this off as a bad game, I definitely need to see how they fair against the Texans next week. The only good thing is that the Texans don't have any sort of run game now the Mixon is injured but they can pass it all over the field and Nico Collins may be the Derick henry of WR's.

Tyler Bass is the 11th highest paid kicker, Dawson Knox is the 13 highest paid TE, Von Miller is the 13th highest paid edge rusher.... Brutal.

The defense was a concern for me coming into the season and against top level competition I wanted to see it and it doesn't look good at all.

That play call was a killer

Allen reminds me of the 4th year Ben Roethlisberger, some forget how unreal some of the things he did were, It's a great comparison imo.

I'm not going to harp on it after this but this is why you have a top threat WR for games like this. When everyone is dropping them you can throw it to your secuirty blanket and now Allen is on an island all by himself. Again just saying!

I don't want to hear this anymore... KC won without their star RB, the WR Hollywood Brown before he even hit the regular season and probably Rashee Rice for the season and still pulled off a win. Injuries happen!
